So I bought the mystery egg in both of my parks. My primary park I got arbor, which completes the vernal section. My second park is tedian. Neither park had their respective dragons so I'm happy. Now if only I could get honeyglow, I've been trying to breed with a friend since it was available and still have not gotten it and I don't want to use the wishing well for it. Would rather use it for tidal, couldn't get that either during the BEB

Steebluefire if you're looking for a twin for M6 go with M6 and flower. I was trying for Tulip the first try I got a 24 hour timer. All I could think was Spring but when I saw the monolith egg, well I still couldn't believe it and double checked the times for the monoliths. I did it again and got 24 hour timer again. A part of me is super excited but another part of me the one where it took this past BEB to finally get my M6 is screaming "wtf, wtf really, really. More than a year and half and now they are popping out like daisies!! Yeesh!!" Then again I did recently breed a Nosferatu with Nosferatu and Blue Fire.

The monoliths are epics, and epics can be cloned with other epics, but not with just regular hybrids (for most cases. Some, like the seasonals, when they are in the market, only require certain elements instead of a locked combo, but that's not cloning).
Question: Those of you who tried for a Pond via the egg and got something you already had - do you have all the pedestals? I'm trying to see if there's a connection between the failures, or if it just means there's a high chance that you get a Pond but not 100%. As I said before, I got one via the mystery egg, but my mom just tried and got a Solstice. She has all the dragons aside from the current event and mythic dragons, but she is missing two pedestals (not Solstice, though). She's on iOS 10 and has no other parks; I'm on iOS 9 and have 3 other parks.
I had all the dragons and pedestals of every dragon except the newest event dragons, and I got Pond. Maybe we do indeed need all the dragons and pedestals to get Pond via the mystery egg. Good theory. Sorry you didn't get yours, if you want, my Pond is currently being shared (don't think we are Facebook friends but message me if you would like to be).

When you *have* Gaia and/or Kairos, you can send dragons off on quests, and if you pick the *Perfect* dragon for the quest, you get to pick 2 of the 3 chests when the quest finishes.
If you pick a dragon that just matches the elements, you get 1 chest, and I have no idea what happens if you stick something that doesn't match in
There is a big social effort here, on the wiki, and on the FB DV groups to find the 'Perfect Dragon' for each quest, whenever new dragons come out.
The quests give you Gems, Treats or DragonCash from the chests. (Hmm, races also give you DoubleXP boosts, has a quest ever given one?)
I can confirm multiple instances of Epic cloning from regular hybrids. I have got 3 Mono 1's from Mono 1 + Lichen. I use this to my advantage trying to get specific Monolith and Snowflake dragons/pedestals during slow periods.

Oh, it's okay, I did get mine - it was my mom who didn't get hers. I even tried to send her a $5.00 iTunes card so she could buy enough eggs to still buy Pond and was told the minimum you could send was $15.00. :/ Maybe I'll send $15 anyway and tell her it's an early Mothers Day present...

Yes! Thank you!!! I just looked at the spreadsheet- it is amazing. An incredible database. There are so many questions answered! Sometimes the quests have a combo of elements that I know must be an epic dragon and I have soooo wanted a quick reference! So many thanks!

With the demise of game centre I just started in FB to be able to friend people from this forum and join in on the fun. Please message me if you want to send a friend request so I know to watch for you😊, I never check FB otherwise. I'm deleting random requests way too many of those 😮.

Nope, there isn't a guaranteed way to get 2 chests in the Racetrack, it seems to depend on how well you do.
