Sitting on 5 geodes, I decided I was okay with spending 5 bucks on eggs if the mystery egg failed and went ahead and got it a few minutes ago. Success! I got the Pond! I do have all other non-event dragons including Char, plus all pedestals, for what it's worth. I don't have Bahamut/Tiamat, though.

Has anyone waited until you've hit the max Eggs for the day to collect from the Burcadian Garden? I am wondering if those Eggs can be banked. Meant to try it yesterday and tapped on it in an enthusiastic frenzy of collections! Will endeavor to have restraint today.

Thanks for the mystery egg hint. Decided to risk it and I got myself a Pond. (All I'm missing at the moment are the event dragons and the mythic dragons.)
Steebluefire if you're looking for a twin for M6 go with M6 and flower. I was trying for Tulip the first try I got a 24 hour timer. All I could think was Spring but when I saw the monolith egg, well I still couldn't believe it and double checked the times for the monoliths. I did it again and got 24 hour timer again. A part of me is super excited but another part of me the one where it took this past BEB to finally get my M6 is screaming "wtf, wtf really, really. More than a year and half and now they are popping out like daisies!! Yeesh!!" Then again I did recently breed a Nosferatu with Nosferatu and Blue Fire.

Question: Those of you who tried for a Pond via the egg and got something you already had - do you have all the pedestals? I'm trying to see if there's a connection between the failures, or if it just means there's a high chance that you get a Pond but not 100%. As I said before, I got one via the mystery egg, but my mom just tried and got a Solstice. She has all the dragons aside from the current event and mythic dragons, but she is missing two pedestals (not Solstice, though). She's on iOS 10 and has no other parks; I'm on iOS 9 and have 3 other parks.

Mystery egg gave me a twin decay. Whomp whomp. I wish there was a way to decline the twin, because I need the pedestal but don't collect twin pedestals.

Tiamat's a habitat?? Argh! Two of my baby parks are novelty parks which I've ruthlessly constrained to two islands even though they're level 90+. I barely found room for the mythic building to roll for them - no way I have space for a large habitat. Or two.
No luck for me with the mystery egg. I just got a herald. I already have 2 plus a pedestal. Not a total bust since this is a twin but I would have preferred a pond.

I just received a message from schizelle stating that she bought a mystery egg and it contained Ovalith.
I'm not sure if I'll buy a mystery egg. I don't think I will, because if it's anything like the dragons we've been getting every couple of days via the daily gifts, mine will probably be a dud. Or another Ghost, knowing my luck.
I have a theory on the dragons we get from the daily gifts, and from the looks of it the people who have high level parks get the better dragons. I'm still on level 27, which means I might end up getting something plain and ordinary from the mystery egg.
Just a thought. No way to know for sure, but that's my two cents for the day.

Out of curiosity (and a decided lack of monolith dragons,) when monolith dragons first came out, how were they "gettable?" I see now that you have to HAVE (or co-op) a monolith to breed a monolith...But how did they originate?

You no longer need a Monolith to get one. We all got one on 3 other games using an Epic dragon when one of our games were gifted one. I just got another one with the Monolith 1 and Lichen combo which is using a hybrid. During BEB or around the time the first epic/hybrid was released things changed to where you can now get either of the parents as an outcome. Once you get one, you can attempt to get them all. Now I am not sure if this is a glitch that will be fixed or if the newer breeding rules will stay around so I would work on getting a second one after you are gifted one on day 12.
Because so many received a Pond for the mystery egg I had to try. I got an Eridanian, that I needed. I don't know if I will get enough eggs to purchase the Pond before it leaves. The gift egg today was a Nebula, which I also needed.
Ok, an update about mystery eggs. My son needs about 100 dragons and the first mystery egg was one he didn't have, but he just got a Thunder and he already has one. I guess it really is random or either the second one is more random than the first.

Broke my own heart I have everything except the new dragons. Bought a mystery egg.... Twin Firework. Thought "well, I can't buy a Pond now." So I bought a second.... Twin Spectre.
