You're so gracious Okay so the sandbox says to breed a (non rift) Bronze with an earth rift to get a rift rainbow. But if it has to be bred in the rift and I can't transfer a non rift dragon (the Bronze) to the rift, how do I pull this off? I tried moving my Earth rift to my regular park and breeding there but I have a strong feeling I'm going down the wrong path. Do I have breed a rift Bronze? And if so it's pretty frustrating that the sandbox doesn't specify that. Still confused!!! I have a rift headache

All of the Rift pedestals have animation.
Wow. And I've discovered, that you can get Twin Rift Pedestals through the mystery egg and gifting process. So that's 4 different types of dragons and pedestals, putting the total at over 1600.
Not counting, that the animation of the rift dragons and pedestals might be different because of the ten possible traits on them.

Let's take it from another angle:
because I don't know what rift dragons you have, I'm going to just give an eg for the sandbox, trying to breed a Rift Rbo
yes you are correct; bronze (which can't be ported to the Rift) x earth rift (which can be ported through to the Vale) are parents for a Rbo or DRbo BUT
I've not heard of a Riftie ever being bred in the Vale, and I have regularly received non Rifted offspring while breeding in the Rift
So, yep,I think you need to breed a Rifted Bronze first, in the Rift, or whatever Rifted parents you choose to use, to try for Rifted Rb and DRb...it's what I have always done for all the Rift dragons I have, other than the R eggs (which have given me my various Rifted Rbows) the early Regg purchases are/were cheap amounts of E
I think the reason that Bronze (or any other parents which are not Rift specials {such as Blitewing or Antumbra or metal rift}) are not identified in the sandbox as Rift versions, is that by ticking Rift breeding, it's assumed that all dragons listed ARE Rift versions...
you may have identified an area in the Sbox where drow could put an explanatory note for rift breeding, so that the Sandbox is self explanatory; "all Rift dragons must be bred in the Rift from a Rift versions, or purchased from the Rift market" or something similar
however this is outlined in the OP of this thread... If you haven't already, reading that may help provide some clarity, we tried to keep all the most helpful Rift info in the OP (page 1 this thread) along with links to helpful posts... I hope that we are working towards eureka?! 😊

To get a rift Rainbow, breed the way you do for a regular Rainbow, any four elements, but in the rift. So whatever you have the highest against whatever else you have the highest in the rift, as long as there are four different elements. Rare hybrids are better since the chance of cloning parents is less if they’re rare. You’d get a Double Rainbow the same way, maybe with the same dragons. koala - it may take a while.

Thankfully, the rift eggs don't have specific element traits, just a general swirly animation, so once you've got one you can cross it off your list!
When they were first released (for the first day or so), rifted eggs also had traits. Thankfully they merged them all into just a "rift" egg to avoid having to have 10 of each

I think the breeding hint (for when it is available to be be bred): Lighting + Dark + Rift aligned to Lightning

I've been trying since it was released and bred every day even through two 10,000 breeds which I never, ever do because they are always a waste of resources and never, ever produce any dragon I am trying for and this litte foray proves that yet again, as I have bred nary a desired, wanted, needed, or much coveted dragon let alone the newest Unicorn (aptly nicknamed I might add), that’s right: nada, nothing, zilch, zip. (This post was inspired by Kiwichris, though I am not half as good at run on creative sentencing as our illustrious ‘Holder Down Of The Fort’ Mod!)
Regarding Chromacorn, there are a lot of people that are probably still breeding the wrong combo for it since it was changed. If you bought the hint when it first went live and don't check online...how would you know? If it were my company, I would have put an apology up in the news section on the first day that the wrong combo was posted and reset all rift breedings for that day. I know I spent the equivalent of $20 in the e shop of my own currency without a chance to even get it the first day...

So glad to see confirmation that it is do-able! I have been breeding up thru 2 5K breeds (even did 10K several times) w/ NO luck yet ...
I can't bring myself to do a 10K breed I still haven't gotten the pedestal. I think I'm going to give them a day off and try for Ruby. And maybe up them a level (I think they are 18 and 17). Sometimes you just need to switch things up for a day or so and then the DV gods take notice
