We have to wait for the event to start for the new event dragons to become available. I would bet they won't be breedable, though.

Yes, I just got a garden light trait trying to get a Viridian. So you can get them right now. Will be a pain breeding them all before the event ends, I'm hoping they'll all be available for 'candy' during the event too, so if we miss a few we can pick them up.
My Alignment today is METAL. Bred OBSIDIAN (Fire trait) + POISON (Fire trait) trying to get a GARDEN... instead got an ORTREAT (Fire trait).
If you breed any of the limited time Halloween dragons, please list: ALIGNMENT Dragon1 with trait Dragon2 with trait and the limited dragon you were able to breed. THANK YOU!
EDIT: That combo of OBSIDIAN+POISON will give you the possibility of Bone, Garden, Trick, Ortreat.
Yep, used all mine about an hour ago! Even checked for an update first, annoyingly.
On the bright side, I think Cold + Fire + Earth + Plant covers all of them except Bog and Lycan. Helps a bit. Will also need to take into account the 7pm to 7am time requirement for Nosferatu, I can't see any reason why that wouldn't still apply in the Rift.
good thing the twilight tower setting for night and a couple others can override this.

I use daybreak most of the time, I've had a couple of Sun fails in there and don't recall breeding a Moon, but I might just be doing it too early in the day.

I bred Malachite Light with Dodo Fire trying to get Viridian. Rift was aligned to plant. I got a Garden Light.

they said the update fixes any "glitches" of legendary or mythical dragons not effecting the rift, so I assume the twilight tower can also effect the rift now too.
Hopefully this means Kairos will speed up the airships now.
Any guesses on what the 4 new "campfire inspired" dragons will be? One looks like a tiger with wings, another looks like a type of ghost, and I'm pretty sure we will get a Bigfoot dragon.

A DODO?!? You lucky duck!!! I kept trying for Dodo and finally gave up. It seems I only get the dragons I want by trying for something else and they come as a fail. I’ll have to see what Dodo is a fail for and try for that! 😀

No, you were not the only one... To be honest I was quite happy to work on the rift hybrids and unlocking their traits. But I was quite miffed when I saw that more dragons will get traits! This probably means that all hybrid dragons, whether regular or limited, will be getting traits at some point in time.
Hmm, maybe it would make more sense if the spooky dragons only had one specific trait each. But BFS says no, have all the traits!

Dragons in the Rift can now be levelled up with Bahamut or Tiamat; they don't have to be kept in the park! Hurray!
