This might have already been mentioned as well but I just got 50E in a chest for my Kairos quest.
I think the E referred to in this post is perhaps the Essence which powers up Kairos to knock several hours off the breeding/hatching times every few days, NOT the etherium which we are needing in the rift.

No I meant the purple Etherium crystals sorry should have typed the whole word 😊
Also got 350 more trying out races.

With the demise of game centre I just started in FB to be able to friend people from this forum and join in on the fun. Please message me if you want to send a friend request so I know to watch for you😊, I never check FB otherwise. I'm deleting random requests way too many of those 😮.
Remember when I said Blazing and Wraith are my favorite Rift-i-fied dragons? Well, today I bred a Light Rift Crystal and it's super pretty. This time Crystal is my favorite rift-i-fied Dragon. Now I shall try to breed a Rift Mountain and Lava.
I just bred a Rift Mountain and man, it was wasted completely. Why does the Baby Rift Mountain have rift-i-fied mountains while the adult doesn't. I'm going to babify it. So disappointed, that I actually feel like redoing Rift Mountain.
yes, the required number you have to roll depends on the dragon's current level. You have to get +1 of their level or better
That's wonderful! It means I have a fair chance if levelling up my young traity drgaons which won't currently fit onto the rift.
I still have a problem understanding the breeding. Each day the rift alignment changes, so should I begin by using this rift drgaon as one of my breeding pair?

I would say you have a better chance of getting a cooler outcome if you used two dragons that didn't have the same Rift trait or elements as the daily alignment.
You also need certain dragons for the newest rift dragons' breeding combos, such as a dodo with a fire trait (you could do earth rift and Blazing/smoke), malachite with a light trait (metal rift and luminous/meadow), Bluefire with an air trait (cold rift and Blazing/smoke), plasma with metal trait (lightning rift and copper/magnetic), and rift alignment earth plus two dragons that contribute light and dark (I did dark rift and sand during earth alignment to get an earth cave then bred that with my light rift to get antumbra) and it would help to have the rift alignment be the same trait you are hope to have on the target dragon. koala!
I was WRONG! You CAN win rifty etherium at the race track! And even if you can only open one chest, I think it isn't a bad deal to pay 2 gems for 50e or 5 gems for 100e when you can see it in one of the others. This must be the first day this has been available as I do the races every day and it hasn't happened before. I did wonder why it was a slow loading bar this morning, so perhaps that's why?
Beginning to like the rift more, now that I have a few more upgraded habitats and beginning to find my way around.
I'm keeping ever Rift-hybrid, even duplicates, and will continue to do so until my Rift Park is clear, every habitat bought and fully upgraded, and I'm earning 8000 Etherium/collect.
At *that* point, I'll replace, release, sell stuff I don't want.
Well, there may come a point before that where you'll run out of space to put new dragons and have to use the hibernation cave. The breeding cost resets every day, but the cost for habitat slots is ever-increasing.
At that point, you can start releasing duplicates.
Yeah, though I'm at the point of having far more slots than dragons.
I have 10 Revitalised (level 3, 90 Etherium cap, 3 dragons) and 7 Refined (level 4, 135 Etherium cap, 4 dragons), so 58 slots, but so far only 31 dragons, 9@level 10 and 22@level 20.
With the Airships, I'm earning close to 600 Etherium/hr, and only have to check in every 2 hours (for the Airships), but my habitats start capping out in 3 hours.
The Vortices, plus Etherium from Races and Quests, are a nice bonus.

It looks like, the *second* dragon you breed with a matching trait to one you already have, will be a 'TWIN'
And that's new today.
Though the other 'half' of the twin goes nowhere.
Not sure about this, as I've bred two Smoke dragons, both with an air trait, but neither of them is showing in the Dragonarium as a twin. Also have two Voltaic, both with dark trait - but neither of those is a twin.

Did you breed them *since* today's reset?
Not the second Smoke dragon, but the second Voltaic was this morning.

hmm... I really hope this is true! But that's bizarre, I could have sworn the second antumbra that I bred today, after the reset, did not show a twin as an option if I hatched it, before I turned it into a pedestal. Maybe it only works for dragons that have multiple traits available, not the ones that are locked, like the primary elemental rift dragons, the house mascot rift dragons, and the new 6 rift dragons.
Do you think that is the case magpac? Because the FAQ (and someone at BFS that I reached out to) said twin rift dragons were not available at the moment, yet. Because there is no way for this twin howl to have been bred and then brought into the rift, since it would have had to have been part rift to be brought over. And I highly doubt someone would waste a wish to get a twin rift howl. Unless they bought one of the mystery eggs. And I really hope it wasn't a photoshop pic, but I don't see why anyone would do that.
But hey, I'd love for them to now be possible. Especially if it just happens with the second successful breed.

I don't remember exactly, but I think I also bred some dragons with a trait I already had since the update. Non of them with a Twin border. Maybe it's like in Coop cave, if you get a Twin or not - totally random...?
Just dispelled my last piece of mist to get RHC (Rift Hibernation Cave), now I can store my Rift dragons I don't have a home for right now plus quicker exchange if I need one of them for breeding! Will buy more habitats now and stuff all free space I made while searching for buildings.
I found the Transfiguration Tower, but noticed it doesn't allow me to change the Trait on any rift Egg Pedestals I have. That means you are going to need quite a few rift eggs to get all of them...

You may be disappointed with the Rift Lava as well. I got an Earth Lava and the Rift zones on it are the wings and bizzarely the eyes. So they’re not very prominent on the adult dragon.
Some of the dragons (blazing, crystal) are really good but some of them... aren’t. Magnetic has the Rift zone over the yellow in its belly area, but only the top half for some reason. It looks really weird because of this. Sad to hear the Mountain dragon is one of the disappointing ones, it was one I was looking forward to as well.

Good news! Unless they changed it today, traits don’t matter on Rift egg pedestals, having the Rift element produces the same shiny effect regardless of which trait they would have had and the Rift element icon is shown rather than the trait. You only need one new egg of each dragon rather than 10.

has anyone figured out if it's possible to breed pure rift dragons? when i breed plant rift and plant rift i get a regular plant, not a plant rift. i didnt buy the eggs during the event and now im regretting it because i need all the pure rift eggs :/
Please repost your pic or a link to it so I don't have to hunt. There's a lot to comb thru.
The Rift alignment, while necessary for specific breeds, is not a transferable quality. We need to breed for as many variations of each dragon as possible, then only one needs to transmutate to the desired trait for breeding purposes. (eeeee, I hope that's clear, "consternation face")
As as you can see on this page of the Breeding Hints, Antumbra doesn't require a specific Rift alignment. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that first symbol means "any Rift dragon with an Earth trait".
Actually, Antumbra is the only that does require a specific Rift Alignment. When they mean Any Rift Dragon with a specific trait they put it in a Yellow Circle like the Ghast underneath. The Rift symbol with a particular trait means the Rift alignment needs that.
(I got my Kampos with a Water Rift Dragon. The Rift Alignment was NOT set to water)
Ratz! Had it backwards! Thank you, thank you, thank you! No wonder my successes were few and probably coincidental.
