Yes, I saw that. Since we are getting a Rift egg on September 12, and the tease says the gate will open soon, I suspect the Rift Gate will open on Sept. 12 or 13. The questions is: Where will it open to?
Something similar to co-op? Or a completely new world/game? Noel could be sending us through the wormhole with no way back. On the gripping hand, it was Roger (not Noel) that got stuck on the other side. One wonders how that happened, and I am sure the story will be fascinating.

Question: If I bought an island out of sequence (like getting the Lost Island of Olympus without owning the regular Lost Island), and I didn't own any islands around it, would it be hanging out in empty space by itself in its normal position, or would it tuck up against the rest of my islands until I bought something that was supposed to lie between them? I'm guessing the former, but I've never had a chance to find out until now...
I have enough magic that I can buy the gargantuan island or the monument of the relics, but not both.
Which should I go for? Or should I just wait and get all my treats back....
I'd vote for the Monument, only if you have a wish and were willing to use it on the gargantuan island. The Monument really helps to generate income faster, so long as you work hard to maximize your earning potential (having several rainbow, Dream, apocalypse, and treasure habitats, along with all 4 omnitats, and filling them with the best earners of each category- I'd fit in as many Dazzling/Twinkle dragons in the omnitats as you can).

interesting too, isn't it, that this rift gate mini event leads us right into the 6th year anniversary....? hmmm, it almost seems as though there is a bigger plan in place... A rift gate, opening up to a new dimension, a free primary elemental rift dragon at the end of the mini event... and the breeding hints state that these rift dragons cannot breed 'outside' the rift...
I have tried several times with lightning rift and lightning, and just gotten lightning. In another spot I have plant rift and spore, and both attempts gave metal(!). I will keep trying a little more, but it looks like no.
I can't help wondering if this 14 days of gifts plus the dragon at the end was thought up at the last second when the people at BFS saw how displeased we were with the event in general/not getting the pure Rift in the end.
I feel like this is true, since we are getting our choice of any primary rift element dragon at the end of the 14 days. Since I didn't buy metal rift, I'm pretty happy with this!
How do we know we get a choice of primary rift dragons? The egg hint just says the "prize is not available yet." Was something posted on facebook?
My suspicion is that however the rift was supposed to work, they havent got the code right yet or couldnt test it during the event, so the gate and prizes are a stopgap until they get it up and running. I think that is more likely than that it is to appease those who have been disappointed by the event.

Go into the Rift Gate and look at the prize on day 14. You should be able to see 3 eggs. The ones I see are Air Rift, Earth Rift, and Lightening Rift. Ergo, I believe it more likely BFS will allow us a choice between all the primaries, and not just those 3.

Not eggs of mystery! You are not guaranteed to get dragons that you need. I would get event dragons or the island. Much more bang for your buck.

Not eggs of mystery! You are not guaranteed to get dragons that you need. I would get event dragons or the island. Much more bang for your buck.
Hmm, thanks for the opinion! I already bought all the event dragons. (except air and metal rifts, silly me wasn't paying attention to the timer) I am guaranteed ONE dragon I don't have, right?

There is some kind of yellowish glow in my park now though, like everything is brighter somehow, so you might be right. I really like how it looks, pretty.

Yeah, saw that too. Might be a gate to an Island for all our twins, am thinking this has something to do with twins somehow. They better not be introducing triplets ha ha now that would be funny. Then you are all screwed! 😹 No sorry, I am just kidding.
I am also sure there will be a new breeding spot. Am hoping and dreaming for a spot that allows you to breed with non-friends, wouldn't that be nice. That is one thing that is sorely needed in this game in my opinion. A way to connect with other players without using Facebook.
Well one can always dream... pretty sure my dreams will all come crashing down ha ha. But I am sure it will be cool, whatever it is.
