The only thing that stinks is now all three of my dens have 24+ hour breedings happening. One's a Moon (second one this week) and even after the Kairos boost it still has more than a day to go. The third one is a Bronze. But Nightbloom!! Yay! And I just got the Twilight Tower with a Wish 2 days ago, so I'll be non-stop blooming and unblooming him for at least 10 minutes after he hatches.

So far, I'm pretty OK with how breeding has gone. I've gotten a regular Spectre (needed a pedestal) and a regular Trick (needed the pedestal) in my regular breeding sites. In the Rift, I got a Bone (earth) with Fire Rift X Earth Rift, and got a Bone (plant) and an Ortreat (earth) with the Bone (earth) X Lichen (cold). I was trying for Omen for a while but was getting frustrated by so many Moon fails, so I've put that on the back burner. I missed last year's event, so I have several dragons that I need besides the new ones.

Speaking of, has anyone actually successfully bred a Rift Nosferatu? I've seen several of every other Rift Spooky, but only one Nosferatu and that was a twin so must have come from a mystery egg. I don't want to say it's a repeat of the opposite problem, but if nobody here has bred one it could be a repeat of the opposite problem.
I've been thinking that... I kinda want to ask the support this question, but I'd feel awkward asking them to do their job.
"Did you make sure this one is breedable? Like, really sure? Did you remember to QA test it?"
Then again, these jokers released the rift with opposite breeding completely non-functional and left it that way for 2 entire weeks, so it's not like they don't deserve this suspicion.
I bred a water-trait Nosferatu yesterday, but I did have to set my twilight tower to a night theme.
Just set my Twilight tower to "Nightfall", rift is aligned to air, and bred Bone - water (Yes, I finally got one yesterday!) and Lichen - Lightning and got a water trait Nosferatu. First try, cost 1.
Edit: Two tries later, and I have a lightning Nosferatu. Will keep the egg, and set the tower back.
Big thanks to @dinotree and Quil for the confirmation that Rift!Nosferatu is breedable. That's a relief.
If I were to guess why it's been so elusive, I'd say that maybe the new Spectral theme doesn't count as night for Nosferatu for some reason? It transitions Lycan and Nightbloom to night form, so one would have thought it would work for Nosferatu... Maybe because it has taken the place of Day as the default theme for the duration of the event? Either way, I'm going to shift over to Nightfall for the rest of the event. There's still plenty of time to breed it.

Wow, I just bought a spooky mystery egg and got a twin bone with a metal rift, it looks so crazy! I think it's now my favorite rift trait for bone. I've seen fire, cold, and earth, but metal is just crazy and intense! it's whole body is sparkly.

oh yea. Hmm maybe I was just lucky getting it, but I think Nosferatu will need the Tower to be changed to night. I forgot Lycan just changes form with the Tower.
I got a cold trained thicket, which is another disappointing trait - just its horns and "nails"/toes change, since it doesn't have any wings. Bone is by far the best traited spooky dragon, and ghost also looks good, especially with a plant trait. I haven't seen spectre, bog, or nosferatu traited yet, I don't think.
Looks are about the same as the regular Bog also was able to breed a Cold trait Lycan and also looks just like the normal one.
I got a fire trait Lycan and he is pretty fancy!

I think when BFS sets our backgrounds at the start of the event its special and doesn't lock us into day or night, that way players without the tower can still breed normally during the event. If we change it and/or change it back to the new background using our tower we get set to day/night depending on the background.

You're using the Image Link from Imgur, try using the 'Direct Link". They end in .jpg or something like that. Had that issue with my last image.

Am I the only one getting 'missing you' messages from my dragons after only 30 minutes!!! These messages are starting to get irritating 😠 30 minutes isn't long enough to miss me, stop being so demanding!!!
I have gotten “your dragons have finished breeding” messages twice now—when they HAVEN’T!! In addition to reminding me to visit my dragons way too often

Spectre just changes the colour of its head. Not very spectacular, but the traited pedestal looks nice.
Messing around cause I’m not sure of the Rift breeding, using earth and fire, I got a bone first try with dark trait. He’s all black and purple. Really cool looking.
