I bred a water-trait Nosferatu yesterday, but I did have to set my twilight tower to a night theme.
interesting. I changed my twilight tower to nightfall and got lycan on my first try with my lvl 19 lightning rift and lvl 10 lichen. So yea, I think maybe the "spectral" twilight tower isn't coded correctly to breed night time dragons, in the rift at least, at this time.
Spectral does not appear to be a night setting, at all. My Nightbloom stays in his dark and unbloomed form when the Twilight Tower is set Spectral. Dawnbringer also stays in his daytime form.

I was thinking about Day 10 and Day 20 earlier. Didn't they let us pick a Hidden dragon on the last day of the Egg Hunt? Pretty sure that is how I got my Pond. Seems to me like Day 10 should be player's choice out of all the old spookies (including Trick and Ortreat), and Day 20 should be a choice of Dracabra, Spirit, Gargoyle, or Oni (and whatever the surprise dragon might be, if there is one).

Spectre just changes the colour of its head. Not very spectacular, but the traited pedestal looks nice.
Messing around cause I’m not sure of the Rift breeding, using earth and fire, I got a bone first try with dark trait. He’s all black and purple. Really cool looking.
Sounds interesting! My Bone has a fire trait, which I don't really like.
I feel like somehow I'm not optimizing my choices in the Candy Colosseum, anybody have any tips. My FB friends only have a few dragons in the co-op for me to choose from and I'm not sure I'm making the best choices. Lots of 25 candy wins, only 1 won of 100.

I think there may be some confusion on how we are describing the settings. In the Twilight Tower there are 3 settings: Dusk, Nightfall, and Spooky, that were old. Dawnbringer and Nightbloom both change to their night forms under all 3 older settings, while Lycan is only its "buff" night form under Nightfall and Spooky, not Dusk (but you would think it would to match the other two).
The new setting, Spectral, only effects Lycan so he is his buff night time form, but both Dawnbringer and Nightbloom are not their night time form during the Slectral setting.
It appears that it was coded wrong, or at least it is not night time for the Spectral setting, so if you want to be able to breed Nosferatu in the rift, switch your Twilight Tower to Nightfall or Spooky. I'm going with Nightfall.

ariadanz, Feel free to add me too (EuroKnuter on FB) - just be sure to put "DV" or similar in the friend request. I get waaaaay too many fake requests (being male, I get 1-5 each week for 18yo females. Usually the account has been deleted already before I can report it. Plus the standard FB suggestions that make little or no sense to recommend in the first place).
I usually pick the friend's dragon first, getting the highest level covering the most elements of the 4. Then I pick one of my dragons. Once in a while, I have to start over with a different element or two for the friend (and yes, even for my dragons as not all of them are level 20 - even trying to get the dang airships for the rift filled!).

The market stays for 2 more days, and closes at reset on Nov 5th. You can only use 1,000 per day - 2,000 is the max you can bank and use after the event is over. Anything else converts to DC at the rate of 1,000 DC to 1 candy.
Personally, the way things collect and the amount I'm still playing the rift every couple of hours - I'm banking it all. Most of it, maybe all of it, is just more DC which I'll use for treats... And the Om of Noms is coming up, too

I double checked (by this time in life, I've learned not to trust that I read what I think read . On the BFS Event FAQ - EoE (End of Event), it says:
What happens to my leftover Candy at the end of the Whitbee's Candy Bash 4?
Nothing happens to your leftover Candy until the Bizarre Bazaar closes. You can still hop in the game, access the prizes, and spend your Candy however you like. After the Bizarre Bazaar closes on November 5th, we'll turn any leftover Candy into DragonCash at the rate of 1,000 DragonCash per 1 Candy.

I'm putting in for my whine!!! I have been trying and trying but all I seem to get is bone after bone, by the end of this event I might just have enough bone pedestals to do a bone fence for the entire island.
