Quick question: if I buy a dragon I already have with candy, will the second one be a twin? I.e. I've already got nightbloom but no twin, if I buy one from the prize shop will it be a twin? Sorry if this is already answered somewhere...
sorry, no. The prizes you buy with event currency will be non twins; the dragons you get from the daily calendar type buildings can be twins if you already have a non twin version. And now, if you have twins, you can get rift versions from the daily calendar dragons.

While I appreciate the thanks, I'm back to just Arkynos from my Halloween self and am staying that way at least until the winter event starts (if I can think of a name tweak for that, got no ideas yet.) From the trouble you're having keeping track I suspect you mean lunboks, who was Mr Bones for a while and is currently Mr. Bones . I'd say they certainly deserve a mention more regardless, as while I am trying to make myself useful I wouldn't say I'm on quite the same level as him or the three others you mentioned. Whom together I shall now refer to as The Four Lords of the Vale. I'm like a vassal to them, or something like that.

No problem. At first I thought it was a second evergreen the twin glow made it hard to tell. I'm using my Dracabra. I find it its easier to clone when the parents are the same. I'm hoping for a second.

I'd say that overall, I was stoked with the event! I achieved everything except for buying a Mystery Egg, but got a Bone with the fire trait for my gift! If it wasn't for blowing through nearly 5000 gems for a Spirit, I wouldn't have been able to do that, as I was unsuccessful in breeding a Nesting. And the 3rd Spooky habitat was a major curve-ball also!
But I do love the Candy Bash events! I love the 5 new dragons we got this year, and I love the fact that we could breed for trained-spookies! Just a great, fun, light-hearted event! I hope everyone else had as much fun!!
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

Well that was a big fat nope on the koala for me. Spent lots of gems trying for a twin Lycan so I could spend my candies and a buck for spooky eggs hoping they would get a twin rift lycan. All I got was more twin Rifted bogs and a Rifted trick. Which I all ready had!!! Then I go a blow through my E, throw in some midnight chanting, well more like sobbing and all I got was more regular Lycans, traited lichens, traited cacti. And now I'm looking at your signature and I feel utterly mocked!!!! Well here's to BEB.
I give up. I'm going to sleep. Wake up and try to get twins of the rest of the new spookies, maybe even the thanksgiving ones like feast and harvest since they are probably next in the rift department.

I had the 🐨 with me today. I’ve managed to get all the twin spookies that I needed (except the new ones, but that doesn’t matter for now). So I bought a few spooky eggs, hoping to get this stubborn traited nosferatu that wouldn’t come in my park 😈. And among traited spookies that increased my rift collection and a twin omen I finally got it 🎉🐉🐉 I’m now totally happy with this event 😊 And as I don’t want to get in another rush this winter for twins, I’ve already begun to complete my twin winter’s theme collection. Thanks steelbluefire to have pointed the snowbrush and co, I hadn’t thought about them 😅

Thanks for the shoutout, but don't sell yourself short here. I use your rift alignment guide to formulate a plan of attack just about every day.

A little glitch for the next hour, daylight saving time has reset the candy timer and gives us 1hour to add 1000 candies! Go for it!
I could kick myself right now! I wasted my candy buying decorations bc I was short 500 for a habitat im so happy this event is over because I wasn’t able to breed a SINGLE new dragon via coop and only 2 rift spooky dragons that were oldies. Sigh...
If you log in within the next hour, you can redeem another 1000 candy from your social menu. Daylight savings strikes again.
Unfortunately I didn't have enough for another mystery egg, but I bought the remaining pedestals. Fully golden now
but you CAN use it to buy nightmare egg pedestals and sell them for some great cash. Quick, go! I just learned of this. Hooray daylight savings time exploit!!
Thanks to the extra 1000 with Daylight savings I was able to get another spooky egg! Yay! And some last minute breeding in the rift gave me the last of the spooky rift traited dragons I was hoping for, so overall I would call this morning a success. Now if only the Co-op dragons would behave

Mischief managed. The extra thousand candy got me a mystery egg, and Rift breeding led to a traited Nosferatu pedestal, which is good as it was only a few days ago it occurred to me that cloning an expired dragon in the Rift would probably end up untraited each time. Remains to be seen it that is the case, if anyone finds out one way or the other for this then I'd love to hear it!
Final tally: All new dragons, 1-3 traited Rift dragons of all 11 Spookies, pedestals of 8/11 (missing Bog, Trick, Thicket)
Though no mischief was managed in my park, I did do reasonably well in the event. I was able to at least breed two of the new event dragons, so only had to buy two. I had all the spookies from previous years, so only needed some traited versions. That didn't go so well, but did get some, so guess I can't complain. In trying for who knows what, I did nanage to get Lacuna, which makes ne feel somewhat better about everything, lol. And I was also able to buy all the pedestals and decos.
