A great day in the vale for me. The Zaffer deal put me down to missing three (been trying daily for weeks myself) and then I bought an egg of mystery from the event and got Pyrite! I am only missing Faire and Bogberry which I will get in 10 days. Ack! I might be able to do this before the winter event. I could buy Bogberry with spice and Faire with gems, but I really want to try to breed Faire to save 950 gems...
My whine worked! I got two Plumpkins back-to-back in the Rift with Bone and Flower!
I had a similar day in the rift, I'm glad other people's Koala has been good today too. I used my lvl 17 light trait salamander + lvl 12 harvest a few times and I got 2 plumpkin and a nimbus (I had been trying for days since it was released with zero luck, except now I have every trait unlocked for both coral and salamander 😒). I'm so happy with those results! I once again have a fire breathing dragonarium, and just need twins of bounteous and plumpkin to have my blue fire back!! With that I have all the prizes from this event, so I can spend the rest of my spice on Seraph pedestals for some extra DC or maybe some mystery eggs (for any twin rift basic hybrids I want and work my way through the traits I am going to focus on - dare I even say the words 'purple fire' ? 😏) Also, I'll be buying my last of the 40 rift habitats/islands today, with about 3/4 of them being regal. Today was a great day in the Vale.

I've been gone on vacation, whats purple fire?
I think so far it's speculation that once you get twins of the rifts dragons that the dragorium will breathe purple fire, like it breathes blue fire once you have all dragons in twin form.

Once you have unlocked all ten elemental rift traits for every dragon that can have rift traits, and have bred one of each dragon, you get purple fire - the next step that completionists like me strive for after blue fire. This is not speculation, it is confirmed, as I am friends with someone who has it. And you cannot obtain twins of rift uniques (like zaffer, antumbra, Lacuna, etc). Not from breeding nor mystery eggs.
My Mystery Egg was also Zaffer! YIPPEEE! Still missing Viridian, Frostfluff, Nimbus, and Harvest Rift. Almost acquired all the Elementals in the Rift. Still need to breed Dodo, Willow, and Malachite to have one of each.
Try Watch (Dark) + Lotus (Light) for Nimbus. It worked on three of our games! Koala.
Thank you so much for this amos! Got a nimbus 5th try. Also got a prism and 2 double leaps year. Great combo!
I'm sure you all understand but I'm being a bit confused by the wording of the help menu about when the event actually ends. My daily reset is at 10:00a.m. I know we get an extra day to purchase but will someone please tell me exactly when I will no longer be able to collect spice?
I got the following message today : "The Om of Noms will be ending soon! You can still collect Spice through November 28th, and claim prizes through November 29th." I believe at reset tomorrow if you want to claim any spice gifted to you by your friends you need to collect it up to the 1000 spice limit. Then we will have one more day to claim prizes.

The funny thing is, I have no idea. The only people I know to get purple fire, had blue fire prior to getting purple. It's weird, you think BFS would have those two as different goals, maybe even alternating between the colors when the dragonarium breathes fire, but it can only show one color. I'm back to having blue fire again, and that's fair easier to maintain than getting purple fire, so I don't think my park will be a good test subject to find out....

I can test it out... I just need ~5,000,000 more E, which at my current rate (156 dragons * average lvl 10) will be about 133 days I bet I get blue fire first.

Hi Olds! Don't forget it's Bring em Back, so you should be able to breed Plumpkin ( I'll just double check)

I’m confused about Rift pedestals. Do we not need to collect them? When I look In my dragonarium, some say 2, when I click on poison for example, I see One rift pedestal with traits and one regular pedestal. However, other dragon pedestals are marked that I have them with the brown rift symbol filled in, but there’s only a number 1 aka 1 pedestal. So do we need to actually bring the pedestals down and keep them or breed them and discard?

You can probably clone it, but my message in the news tab says "except Om of Noms dragons" most can be bred normally. I wouldn't try to get one in an egg until the event is over in a couple days. Do you have a wish saved up? That would be a more certain bet.
