Quoting myself because I tried just upgrading two treat farms to the tower and was able to unlock both nubs and cubes.

Got a Gardenia's Hint popup when I found her today (sorry I can't do a screenshot), but I quote:

 "I'm thinking...when two or more Towering Treat Gardens grow treats next to each other, with the right combination a new treat might result!"

Got a Gardenia's Hint popup when I found her today (sorry I can't do a screenshot), but I quote:

 "I'm thinking...when two or more Towering Treat Gardens grow treats next to each other, with the right combination a new treat might result!"

Hotlinks on OP of  this thread, for how to grow then unlock new foods  
if your own treat farms don't show the new foods as ( greyed out) options, and if you WANT to grow the wider range of treats, you need to spend the gems to upgrade

Stupid question again. Do we have to unlock the new treats for every treat farm separately? In my parks, the unlocked treats only show up on the one farm where they appeared.

Once you unlock a new treat it should be available in all of your Towering Treat Farms. However, it will not be available in farms that have not been upgraded to the Towering Treat farm level.

Public Service Repost from Reddit: The DragonVale YouTube channel has a clip on it for the Om of Noms that shows an unknown dragon. This almost certainly means we'll be getting another limited dragon added to the reward building later in the event. You may want to plan your spice spending accordingly.

Thanks. At least, my third Seraph is breeding right now, only need Twins. Also was able to breed Rift Harvest today.

Had to log out and in again, now they are available. But they really weren't before. Special Treats "hatched" on one of the event farms with the pop-up, but were still greyed out on the other event farm.

You need to log in and out. Your normal farms need to be upgraded for 25 gems to make the new treats.

I have a friend who buys multiples of every new dragon as soon as they come out. I visited to take look at the new dragons and... meh. I don't care for Bounteous and Bogberry. Not feeling Feast, either. Think I am going to focus on Seraph (he's amazing when fully grown!), Teozinte, and saving Spice for the Treatery. Maybe try breeding for Harvest Moon. Looking forward to seeing what the mystery dragon mentioned above will be!

I can confirm that Teozinite is at least breedable in the co-op. I used Elder Plant with a co-op Teozinite. May speed that puppy up when I get home later...it's Round a 24 hour timer (sorry, not exact...momentarily distracted....I'm working on my distraction issue 😂😂)

P.S.  couldn't wait...it's in the co-op now 😂😂😂

Do we have a combination for the third kind of new treats? They o ly seem to be available in the eventfarms right now.

You can get the Star Pods just by upgrading your treat farms up to Towering level. I have to say that it really isn't very clear that all the new treats, even the unlockable ones, are only available with the Towering Treat Farms...

I feel like I'm doing a lot of spinning my wheels. No luck with Seraph so far in 3 of 4 parks, so I have every breeding space working on that dragon. In two parks, I unlocked Nubbleberries and can regrow them in the plots that unlocked the treat, and yet Nubbleberries shows as grayed out and I can't grow them in other plots. After two days of trying to re-unlock Nubbleberries, I'm unsuccessful and it leaves fewer farms to grow Fiery Figs. Do I keep trying with Nubbleberries, or is this a glitch about which I should contact Support?

Still not entirely certain what to do with/about the farms, but hey seraph timer first try on co-op cave. Means I gotta' twiddle my thumbs for a while, or burn gems, but the getting's the important part.

My towers are next to each other in a row. I’m on my 3rd try breeding squash and zazzleberry. Zero luck unlocking the new treats.

Keep trying as it may take multiple tries.

Thanks ChemNerdTwin for sharing that pic! When I start redecorating to turn part of my park into Middle Earth I was wondering how I would recreate Minas Tirith and you showed me how.
