I have all of the the new Christmas Dragons now, thanks to buying the 3x Expectional Egg Pack two times.
My first eggs are a Krampus, Candlecrown, and a useless Rift Gamma. My second pair is a Woolen, Kringle, and a useless Rift Iceberg. Exact same pattern.
Yeah, both of the useless rifts are twins and have trait I didn't unlock for them but still...

Arkynos New quest Iceberry Gobbling; fire cold earth; one of our new event dragons.... But which?!
Huh, specifically tagged, have I been promoted to quest guy?
Err, that would be the quest for the Krampus dragon, I'm pretty sure.
I believe the 4 new quests are as follows: Candlecrown - The Warmth of Cheer Woolen- Always in Style Kringle - Checking it Twice Krampus - Iceberry Gobbling

Me too. It's so nice to have my dragorium breeding fire and I only have to worry about rifties!!!! I got a water traited bramble. Which stinks since I all ready had one, not water traited but all ready had a rifty bramble. Wish I coul of gotten a dragon that I had yet to get in the rift. But I won't whine to much since I did the 4 new dragons. I left one of my eggs in limbo. Going to wait if there is a limited new dragon I'll hath it then.

If anyone can confirm these 4, it would be nice.
you have Krampus and Kringle correct, but Woolen and Candlecrown are reversed. It should be: The warmth of cheer - Woolen Always in style - Candlecrown

Evidently 😈 And such a good choice 😂😂 look, I'm old, very tired, utterly Rifted, under pressure to complete far too many reports in the next 4 days, and just want to sleep for a week... Sorry, shoulda been drow? But yer a LOTV , so with such fame comes noblesse oblige y'know, fer us poor peasants toiling away in our parks.... 😞😞😞😞
I managed to clone Kringle in the co-op using my woollen (from an exceptional egg). And finally managed to breed a kampos this morning! Just missing candlecrown and krampus to get my red fire back now 😊

Did anyone notice how expensive the pedestals are in the event tiers? It was a smart move on BFS to charge for the 3 eggs and include eggs from the event.

They are super expensive!! I'm making sure to first getting everything else before I even contemplate getting them. Also try to see if I can clone them.

ooo that might have come off as sarky; I read your post as meaning you missed playing it for a day... Hence sad face on rereading , you may have meant missed it off the OP details..... No sarky's meant at all vonfirmath, promise! ☺️☺️☺️ 🍭
Once you have all of the new event dragons, can you try to breed more in the regular caves?
yes, you can get a second/pedestal of the new event dragons by breeding with one of them in any breeding spot (except rift of course). I know someone got a new one from breeding their paper dragon with (I want to say) Candlecrown in the CBC too.
Still believing that miracles are possible I tried one more time with the three eggs. And Guess What??? I got three icy torrents!!! I never usually spend money (not because I won't I just have a very limited budget) but I was so excited to get a good dragon I just had to try again. I have 376/409 dragons so I didn't necessarily expect to get the newest dragons, but come on BFS, first two the same then another set all 3 the same? I can't think I'll ever spend actual money again. So, so sad...
That is some really bad luck!
Well here is some absolutely amazing news...BFS must have read my post on here, I didn't contact them directly, and today I found two bright shiny new eggs in my social menu as a gift from them. That is customer service above and beyond. Thank you BFS for your kindness and for looking out for your peeps. I love this game, we all love this game and knowing you care makes it just that much better, thank you!!!

So. Anyone taken a thought for why the new dragons are named what they were?
I was playing Homescape and the butler mentioned that in some stories "Krampus went around with St. Nicholas to punish bad children" -- first time I'd ever heard the name Krampus except as the dragon in this game.
So I went looking about the others.
Kringle is pretty obvious as soon as you think about -- in the U.S. classic "Miracle on 34th Street" Santa's name is Kris Kringle
Candlecrown probably refers to Saint Lucia's Day (Dec 13) since she is often depicted with a wreath of candles on her head -- to light her way in the catacombs and allow her to carry as much food as possible to Christians hiding there.
Does anyone have any more meaning behind "Woolen" other than Christmas being in the winter in the Northern Hemisphere, the whole "White Christmas" thing meaning in some parts of the U.S. and Europe, at least, getting warm sweaters, gloves, scarves, etc is very practical at that time of year.
Krampus is a popular caracter in Germany. He comes around withSt. NIcholas on December 6 and his role is to scare chldren who havent been nice. The others receive a goody from st. NIcholas. He holds other names in the NEtherlands, Belgium ...
Yay for Treasure Tuesday! And today, when you click on your treasure chests, you'll get iceberries as well as dragoncash! Most that I've found give 5 iceberries and 10k dragoncash, but the one with the gem gave me TEN iceberries. Woo hoo!
The Woolen dragon appears to be based on the sort-of-tradition of terrible, garish, misshapen, itchy Christmas knitwear, usually jumpers, that are made and gifted at Christmas usually by an Aunt or Grandmother and worn only due to nigh-lethal concentrations of holiday spirit and unwillingness to offend said relative. I think it might be a post-war British thing? I've received a couple, and my parents recall getting them when they were younger. They also feature fairly prominently in the Harry Potter books for whatever that's worth. The jumpers have experienced a bit of a post-ironic revival recently, and I think media exposure has caused terrible Christmas sweaters to become a thing outside the UK, though the modern manufactured ones tend to be a bit less lumpy than the handmade ones.
Could be wrong about exactly where they originated (it might be a more widespread thing, though I'm not aware of that being the case), but I'm fairly confident that these... delightful(?) objects are the inspiration for the Woolen dragon's design. 😊

Krampusnacht (Krampus Night) is the 5th December, the night before presents are left by the ChristKind (Christchild) on 6th December. Krampus punishes wicked children, and I remember in 1984 being told to be careful, because Austrian youths with Krampus masks delighted in whipping strangers with bamboo canes on that night. Unfortunately, my friends and I ran into some such youths, who were very zealous in this task. Hopefully it doesn't happen these days.
So overwhelmed that I literally have given up on even trying to think what to breed next. Concentrating on the Jolly Jubilee and Meh on the rift 😹😹😹
With the demise of game centre I just started in FB to be able to friend people from this forum and join in on the fun. Please message me if you want to send a friend request so I know to watch for you😊, I never check FB otherwise. I'm deleting random requests way too many of those 😮.
