So overwhelmed that I literally have given up on even trying to think what to breed next. Concentrating on the Jolly Jubilee and Meh on the rift 😹😹😹
That's how I felt too when they first released/dumped all the special hybrids as rifties, then rion posted the list and that has helped me narrow down what dragons to try for first. Which now has me feeling like that first BEB that even though you don't get that one dragon you are trying for you're still getting a dragon you don't have. And that happy feeling of crossing one more from the list is just awesome. Still a bunch to go but hey my park wasn't built in a day.
Got a Panlong rift yesterday, and then Garland, Trinket, Flurry, and Icebound today.
Panlong rift! I must drop everything to try for Panlong rift, thanks for the idea! I was trying for Nether, but Panlong is a much older favorite! EDITED to add: No rift Panlong for me today, but I did get that riftified Terradiem I failed to get for 3 days of breeding before, and a rift Smolder that I didn't have, as well as new traits for my Blazing Gale and Steam rift dragons. I'll keep trying for the elusive Panlong!

Guys, another warning for you. In case you want to breed Rift Seraph, you can't because it's not available in this BEB. Which is dumb because we can breed it during the event.

But hopefully it'll be available from the rift mystery eggs, such as the rare (blue) one, because I got a rift Bounteous from it (along with some other really cool rift dragons like ironwrought, bicentennial, Epoch!, motley - lol, neoteric, sakura, and tidal) and I know magpac has gotten so many awesome dragons from the mystery eggs, like blazing gale, Gargoyle!, wyrmwood, rose, bearded, and garland, just to name a few. So the mystery eggs should be able to get dragons that aren't available to breed.

I've been buying blue mystery eggs with the day's leftover Purplies when the breeding costs start getting out of hand and have had pretty decent results: Carnival, Holly, Butterfly and Leathery are the most notable ones, but it's given me a lot of Rift Goldens which is also kind of cool, even if it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I've been contemplating dropping the 2.5/5k breeds and buying more mystery eggs instead. The fail states tend to be pretty good, usually giving if not something I wanted then at least a new trait for an already owned Rift variant. When you get a Primary Rift dragon though, ugh...
A couple of things about the mystery eggs: - I've never got a Rifty of dragons I've not already had a twin of and suspect it gives a dragon out as unowned normal > twin > Rifty. I hope everyone has been hatching their twins and got all the Om of Noms ones! (I got Seraph but not Bounteous or Teo) - An egg gave me a Rifty Halloween dragon of some sort in the Om of Noms before BeB started, so I think they should be a year round (albeit very unreliable) method to get anything you miss that won't have a fixed return date.
Does the cost of the mystery egg go up with each purchase, or every few purchases? Is there a cap?
Every 3, I think. Caps vary depending on the egg, but the blue ones cap at 7k.
Edit: 4k for random, 7k for rare, 13k for epic, 20k for gem.
Thanks - just bought a few now that I know they eventually cap in cost. And now I have several new rift dragons sitting in the social menu, and I can't decide if I should turn them into twin eggs or a dragon! I think once you get the dragon, it's a little less likely to get it again as you often get something 'new'.

Has anyone else gotten those ads that say springtime/autumn dragon bundles available Yet whenever I go to check there are no bundles for sale. Is BFS messing up or do only certain people get the sale?

If you have all of the dragons in that collection, it isn't available for you to purchase. Also, the less dragons you need in each collection means the cheaper it is to purchase them.
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

I do use the Rare Egg of Mystery, but most of the time it keeps giving me rare dragons I already have collected a rift version of or a Rift exclusive that never had a twin form. I got a Blightwing and a Snowsquall from the egg once, and neither of them were twins.
I was lucky enough to get a Rift Sakura and Liberty from it. Hope that it'll give me more rift limiteds soon. Especially that I lack most of the limited twins.
Edit guess what? I got Rift Kite (only good one) and a useless Ironwood and a Permafrost that's literary the same trait when I first bred one!

You don't get to see the bundle if you already have all the dragons in said bundle...
