If you logged in for the early hour with daylight savings, the daily prize calendar had not reset for the day but our eggs did, and I was able to start collecting. Now that the first hour is up, if I click enter on the Sundial of Surprises the game just crashes.
My alt account that did not login during the first hour is working as normal.

Hi everyone, I have quit Dragonvale. Apologies to my gem-friends, some of whom are on this forum. The current meta requires multiple daily logins, and . I just don't want to be so tied down to my phone any more.
I started playing a month after the game came out. But the last few months since the Rift came out have felt like a chore rather than a game, and I can't continue. I leave with fond memories of this forum! And with 11 billion dragoncash, 250 million treats, 3500 gems, maxed islands and so on.
Awwww one of my first pals, from when you were a wee Bronze 😢 Maybe don't delete your Park, just in case you feel like doing quarterly grounds keeping chores, and chatting with your ole dragons? 😂 and with us from time to time, like Jv? will miss you OJB, go well 🌻🌻🌻

It does cap at level 10, and earns 1.5x so the max is 15 E an hour. That's a little sad, as technically this dragon will be the worst earner we have once everything is leveled, but I'm not putting it in storage!
Also, just as outside the rift, this dragon can not breed in the rift cave either.
omg! So jealous. How did you get it - by breeding rift panlong and rift bloom? I'm assuming that way, since if you had bought a gem mystery egg then it would have been a twin rift ovalith. Twovarift? Lol.
Man did I miss a lot from being away from the forum for about a day! Yes, the double egg glitch sucked, not being able to breed for Rosebud in any other spot than the Burcadian breeding cave spot is very unfortunate and combined with the price, definitely feels like a money grab. And DST messed with the Sundial of Surprises. All things that can make us feel frustrated and annoyed with DV. But I think (and hope) the feedback from this event already will help BFS to make better choices in the future in regards to events.
A little good news to counteract all the feelings of frustration: Rosebud can be bred in the CBC if a friend of yours shares theirs, no limit on being able to breed it that way, and doesn't cost anything except time and maybe gems if you're speed breeding. And as I was one of the super lucky ones that got Rosebud with 5-6 tries in the event cave, my lvl 20 Rosebud is shared for any and all who wish to breed with it in the CBC. BFS fixed the doubles glitch, gave us extra eggs, and are working on the Sundial thing. They are usually pretty generous when it comes to glitches and errors, so let's be grateful and optimistic about that.
ALSO - on the DL, there is a fix to not being any to breed rift versions of the Hidden dragons coming soon. More details to follow....

Yes, just bred it with Panlong and Bloom in the rift. Trying for an egg now, no luck today but can't complain!
Got Rosebud in the coop just now, using Plateau! Thank you, Glolca! Sorry it wasn’t a twin. And also thanks to Glolca and others who mentioned using Plateau, I was using Rose, with no success. Got the Rosebud on my fourth speed breed.
Has anyone been able to breed a Rosebud with a friend who has it in one-op? I know I saw someone that did with plateau + rosebud that had success. Just popping in here cold, haven't read all the posts yet.
Elder Earth. I was using Elder elementals to cut down on fails, but I didn't know how much time that actually saved since I was travelling & couldn't find Sandbox.
We are only 4 days in and the flying eggs are already driving me batty!
I naturally work from the right side of the screen to the left while collecting, so am having to retrain myself to start on the left and work right. Otherwise, I can't see a darn thing (esp. wandering banner bearers and the hidden eggs) because of all the points-eggs flying across the screen. It's a bit much. A quick, little egg explosion after the tap would suffice. A first world problem, for sure- but annoying, nonetheless.

Oh my Wizards, me too! I just had to get rid of those rainbows, especially the 🌈 in the lower left corner. It’s crazy irritating along with those huge flying eggs!

I'd prefer to stay in DST year round. Florida just passed a law to do just that.
BTW to keep this on topic. Is anyone else having problems purchasing Rosebud? I had the park crash on me twice this morning before succeeding in doing it, each time while purchasing. Actually, it crashed the third time too. But only AFTER putting the dragon in my habitat as directed.

My sundial did not reset either, though I can collect eggs for the day again. It's likely related to daylight savings time changes, and I expect it won't reset for another 45 minutes. If it doesn't then, it bugged out for the day. I'll hold off logging in my alt park until after the next hour, and see if that works correctly.
Note that not EVERYONE has daylight Savings time. Arizona, for example, does not jump ahead. Do other countries do it? That has to make it difficult for game creators to program around.
