With what I have left, I can either buy another Surface Habitat or the Apocalypse Island Theme. Will the Surface Habitat probably show up in the Marketplace after the event, since it looks like Sprite and Eve aren’t limited? If so, I’ll probably go with the Apocalypse theme. I still have several habitat slots open and plenty of gems and coins to spend on habitats.

I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!

I have 5 Surface habitats, 2 Apocalypse themes and will be stopping there, but if I make another 320, I'd risk a Surface egg (I'm actually after doubles of the ones that are no longer available).

Apoc theme, 2x surface real estate, and Chrys eggs for me. Tried one surface mystery egg...yaay my 5th Sumi ( sigh, I remember how hard that was to obtain...) so I'm in Cyn 's Super Surplus Sumi club 😈 Managed to breed my 2 missing Rchrys so feeling a tad smug there Smaug 😈 🐨🐨🐨🐨 to everyone in the final feverish moments 😊

that’s definitely the best option to go for, if you are satisfied with everything you’ve gotten from this event so far and don’t need anything else, just want to convert your magic to D.C.

Yes, your Totem shows in the co-op. 👍 (ps - don't worry about being Utterly Rifted.. I still am too, and I suspect we aren't the only ones.)
I hate to have this big of a whine, but I feel that this event warrants one, so here goes: After careful consideration and much reflection, I am not a fan of this event. I feel like it would be one thing to -require us to (“just”) breed a certain dragon, or -to offer up dragons that we already own to get rid of (“donate”), without the DC/E3M they earn, but to force us to breed all new, very rare dragons, some of which require over a day’s time in breeding/incubation, is just not fair - especially in such bulk requests. Having 3-5 epic types on any board is really almost cruel to newer players, and difficult or time consuming for even us veteran players. Of course I’ve been kicking myself over clearing some of the twins I had in my social menu that could have definitely contributed towards many boards, although thankfully I still had quite a few valuable ones and even got some from the rift mystery eggs throughout the event. But how could the newer players, or the ones who don’t speed breed for blue fire, or buy mystery eggs from the Rift, come up with enough dragons/magic to complete this event? Also, I was confident that I would be getting multiples of each dragon if I bought enough of those stinkin Surface mystery eggs, so I did not buy Kaiju, and I thought I’d have a chance even to get him from the CBC if not from the mystery eggs. I’ve bought 13-15 Surface mystery eggs, and have been breeding with an Elder Fire or Dark dragon with a friend’s lvl 20 Kaiju for the entire event, and still have not gotten a single Kaiju. I think I’ve received 4-5 Sumis, which I feel shouldn’t even be an option from this mystery egg - they just changed its typing and threw in a dragon that I think a lot of players already had (if not before the event, they definitely do now!). Also, why make the newest epic type habitats count toward our habitat limit, and hold only 2 dragons? Ugh 😑😔🤦♂️ I’m annoyed with the cost of this event. I’ve spent more gems (I know, of my own choice - no one forced me) on this event than on any other I think, and I don’t even have every dragon from it. Lastly, the thing that really spurred this rant: In every other event, in the daily calendar thing that provides dragon type _x_ for you to get a free one, it has always been coded as we get to choose which dragon of that category that we want. This has been one of the first events I’ve seen that, instead of allowing us to choose, they just gave us another Surface mystery egg. And so of course I got another Sumi, and no Kaiju. Sorry for the rant, but I’m just very frustrated by this event, mostly because I worked so hard to try to get as many mystery eggs as I could, because I wanted to get the regular, twin, twin rift versions of the event dragons, but not one Kaiju in 13-15 eggs seems like a rip off, along with how I feel the breeding odds must have changed during this event. Overall, D- for this event. No extra credit will allow it to pass in my book.

Negatives:
Shame on BFS for putting Sumi in the surface mystery egg. That was a punk move. Sumi was the new Regal... Thankfully I got a twin Eve from my daily gift, but many people played the entire event only to get a Sumi that most people had all versions of already. I decided early on since Sumi was an option for mystery eggs that I would spend my magic elsewhere.
My boards were full of Snowy Gold, Snowy Bronze, specific rainbows and Epics...almost the entire time. It created a game of the have and have nots. I felt like one of the Dr. Seuss Sneeches without a star (do not have stockpiles of gems/etherium and not willing to blow through what I do have) and Mcbean (BFS) is laughing all the way to the bank for those that blew through their resources and/or bought more to try to get as much magic as the next person.
Making a lot of the magic depedent on ads that don’t always work. I missed several days of extra magic and Ts’aishen currency because of ads crashing.
Limited dragon and pedestal prices were outrageously expensive.
This event is not good for people that can’t check in often. I prefer the other way so even of you are on vacation, work, are in school, etc... you can pop in once or twice a day and not get behind.
Because of this event 2 family members are no longer playing as of now. 😭
Positives:
I did luck out on the Chrysalis eggs. I bought 6 and all 6 were different. I do not buy more than 1 at a time. I learned this with the galaxy eggs. It seems to give duplicates if you buy one after another.
I also lucked out with the gemstone daily gift egg and got Ruby rifted which I didn’t have. I would rather go back to picking my daily gifts though so there is a sense of control and achievement at working towards something and getting something you need in return.
The apocalypse theme is really nice and the price was good. I bought two of those.
I liked being able to breed all the dragons. I was able to breed all the limiteds and decided to buy Eve and Sprite early to work on twins and pedestals.
Oomagooma, we have a day to spend magic after magic collection ends. I'm always confused about when events end, so I assume that magic collection ends at reset in a couple of hours and spent accordingly, but I could be wrong.
My gift eggs were all twins, and a couple of them were Sumis. No rift Surface eggs at all over 5 games, which was a disappointment. I got a plant-trait Eve in one of my games and I really-really-really want that in my main game. The plant trait on Eve is just lovely. So far, no luck with a rift Eve in my main game. I'm sure I'll be spammed with them at BEB, but for now, nada. I was lucky enough to get a rift Totem, but with a cold trait, and that wasn't beautiful. So I got the dark trait and that's not beautiful either. Does anyone have a rift Totem with a trait that helps the dragon be as gorgeous as it ought to be? Suggestions would be welcome.

If you have the pedestal , click on it , then click sell and the price will be revealed. The Apocalypse ped is worth 122,112 DC and the Chrysalis dragons sell for various prices with Starwwing and and Glowwing the highest at at 1,500,000 DC.

I gave my DV playing GF a 3 pack of $10.00 Apple gift cards for her b-day* and she gave me one back! (I know, how sweet 😘). I used that card to buy 3K of Magic**, and I ended up w/over 35K of Magic.
1. I got a needed Eve w/the Day 25 Random Surface and bought a needed Sprite. That left me needing only the Kaiju (which, at this time, is still not available in the Wishing Well...).
2. Bought Eve & Sprite Peds.
3. Then I bought 4 Surface Habitats and put them, along with my 4 Omnitats on an empty Island.
4. Bought a Chryslis, Lacewing & Duskwing, giving me 2 of each king of Chrysalis Dragons.
5. Bought an Apocalypse Theme.
*I gave her other stuff too...
**Ever since the introduction of the Rift, I have refused to make any in-app, DV purchases. I know, I know, I just violated my own policy. Even though It was I who originally bought the Gift Cards, I was somehow able to (selfishly 🤑) justify apending that $10.00 gift card on Magic by considering it a gift given to me. I feel very guilty...😱
