Didn't see Kira_T's post until it had been out there 45 minutes. Either the glitch has been fixed or I'm supremely unlucky - I tried Chromacorn and fire rift through the 5k level and got nothing interesting. Tried Plant and Fire dragons on my island and filled my nursery with Poison dragons and now I'm waiting out a Pepper. My life is sad, my luck is bad...
I bought the haunted effigy thing but can't do the next step as it's not highlighted (hope that makes sense), what am I doing wrong!?
I don't have it myself, but the other evolvable dragons require you to go to the dragon's screen and hit the evolve button - have you tried calling up the fire dragon to see if it has a button now?

I'm wondering where they're going with this Ghostly thing. There's a new section for Ghostly dragons under Special in the Dragonarium. Are they going to start releasing Ghostly versions of all the dragons which can only be bred from Ghostly parents? That would explain why we're evolving something as basic as a fire dragon - it's just the first step to getting Ghostly versions of all ten elements, much like the way they rolled out the rift elementals.
Just spitballing here. If they are embarking on a new round of dragons to collect, though, it suggests that the expensive ornament needed to evolve the fire dragon will be available for gems after the event, because otherwise it limits participation too much.

That sounds plausible, yeah. If this was a one-off event thing, they probably would have crammed it into the Spooky category.
Both the pedestal and the dragon use pre-existing art overlaid with a filter, so now that they have that filter, they can start releasing Ghostly variants with 0 effort.

I was kind of thinking they'd be releasing a Ghostly overlay for at least a couple more of the basic dragons during the event (Plant and Earth maybe - one each Friday of the event that's left?). Seems like a Halloween-type thing, so I would expect to see them before this event ends. Ghostly dragons at Thanksgiving or Christmas seem kind of...well odd...
Kind of has a similar feel to the rift dragons...

Golly. Saw on the Reddit someone saw a Ghostly Lava available for a Wish... Does this mean they will be making a Ghostly version of ALL The Dragons?! I will never see a fire breathing Dragonarium again! 😱
I think it would be wise to check if you have a spare of each elemental dragon cose i assume we will have a ghost version of each of them. So time to breed ie buy those missing.

Spent 200 Gems in Dragon Drop managed to hit a few Chests. Got 2 needed flames and dozens of dups. One time got 2 dups of 1 which I had and a dup of another. Now way I’ll be able to get all these Event Dragons. Spent 50 Gems on the Wheel; yes, there were Chests on the Wheel but I didn’t come close. The name of this Event should be “Buy a Chest, Get a Dup”. On the Ghastly...at least there’s no element of chance...just save up the Candies, buy the thingy and Evolve it.

Heya everyone. Long time reader here. The event is rubbish but my OCD seems to be making me do unimaginable things( have all the coloured thingies, hence the dragons. However, can someone help me out with the pedestals. How am I to get a rifted version of them? Any idea?
Anyone been able to breed the Ghostly Fire together with another Ghostly Fire or some other combination?
