I've read so many posts in this thread about people's success in breeding the new dragons. I'd be extremely happy for you all - if only you would put aside your ecstasy for a moment and SHARE YOUR COMBOS!! When I can read that a couple of members had success with the same breeding pair, it's a clue to which combos are worth sticking to.
I've been following the sandbox recommendations, so I know I can't be far off the track, but if only I knew what others had used to achieve such good results I'd be very grateful.

Fever.... Frostfire x Ghostly Cold (island)
Thanks for that - but Ghostlies don't exist for me - except for the two forced upon me by reward/mystery eggs, so I'm not able to use them for breeding.
Thanks, Maybe I should email bfs customer support, since they are definitely not coming through in my account.
What level is your Kairos at? When you've collected enough Hourglasses to hit an Advance time of 24 hours then you stop getting them as you have enough to level Kairos to the maximum.
You are right! My Kairos is maxed out. Now I just wish I could get rid of the useless hourglass counter that shows up whenever I want to do a Kairos speed-up or quest.
Managed Begonia in the rift with Metal Rift + Nimbus at 15000 E.
For some reason I thought Fever and Brilliant were permanent??, but noticed hourglasses on both when I had a look this morning (could have sworn there were no hourglasses a day or two ago...). I guess these two will be added to the multitudes I have managed not to breed!

Koala vibes to those still trying!
Probably a recent addition, because they didn't have hourglasses yesterday when I checked.
One of my friends has one of the new limited dragons in coop, Cyclamen. I put an Elder Cold with it, since Cold has been a part of every other combo. My first fail was a Crypt. So there's a dark element to Cyclamen.

This is pretty upsetting. I chose to try to focus on Belgonia, and failed to get it, because it was the one dragon that was limited. The other two sounded like they were easier to breed. I would have hit them first had they been marked as limited. And then I also didn't bother buying them on my alt so I can clone, because I figured they were permanent. These bugs slipping through their QA recently are just terrible!
Yes, this is really disturbing. Up until yesterday Brilliant and Fever were in the regular elemental sections, Fire, Cold, and Lightning, without hourglasses, like ordinary golden hybrids. But now that they have gone out of the event prize market, their status seems to have changed to something else, since they aren't in the elemental sections in the dragonarium anymore. It is totally unfair to indicate that they are going to be permanently breedable and then suddenly say they are limited and expired.

Yeah, that's a bogus move by BFS. I also focused just on getting Begonia since I figured I could breed the other two any time. And to add insult to injury, after non-stop breeding in all locations, I didn't get Begonia anyways and had to buy it. They should bring those dragons back. We shouldn't have to pay the price for their last minute bug fix. 😡

I don't even know if it was a "bug fix" because the eggs are also like golden hybrids. Are there any other dragons with elemental-design eggs that are limited? It seems more like a sudden random decision made by someone who isn't familiar with all of the subtle rules and cues developed in the game over the past several years.

I hear you. Golden hybrids are almost always permanent, but they have broken the rule during events before. Auroch, Chimneypuff and Chitin are examples.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend trying this outside of the Rift, due to the many possible massive fails.

Thorn is another example of a golden hybrid that is limited. I thought it had to do with it being golden and opposite Fever ,too, has two opposing elements , but Brilliant doesn't
The whole thing is very annoying, but don't forget that all 3 dragons were in the prize tab called "limited" I didn't upgrade my dragon list so far because I wanted to first have an idea where to put the dragons in the limiteds section or in hybrids. But nevertheless not a great move from BFS
dragon list (last dragon : Gatren) DV friend id: Crumble#7733 friend link coop friends always welcome, but all my gems are spoken for
Ornamental collection is back for a limited time....
and in other newz; the lovely Mike gave me a “one time return of sold dragon” and I got Brilliant back 😊 many thanks Mike 🌻🌻🌻🌻
WOW! Congrats Chris. I woulda thought “No way.” Maybe some of you could get your missing Chromacorns that way. Tell you what, send Mike an email and...

When I looked at them in Prizes, they were always limited, as are the 3 new ones today.

They were around for a week, and for the first 6 days they were marked as permanent. I've heard they were flagged as limited yesterday, but I had no reason to check or expectation that it would change. The new dragons are flagged as limited now.
I did email Backflip, responding to a prior ticket, asking them to consider extending these two dragons or bringing them back before the end of the event. Got the thank you for your feedback, it's being passed to the team response. I do think it's fair to extend their time if they changed their status at the last minute, so hopefully they consider it.
