GARDENIA’S COLOR GUARD 2019

Hail Mary try for Amaryllis in the co-op (Amaryllis + Amaryllis, both level 20) resulted in Double Rainbow, so guess no more hope there. Terrible luck breeding the new dragons, so I broke down and bought Amaryllis after missing Begonia. Still no Silverline despite constant attempts in rift and both breeding spots...using Mirage + Shadow with supposedly only 5 possibles. Really think my park is broken too.

On a slightly happier note, at least the final gift from the Compendium wasn't yet another twin/rift common dragon I didn't need, so I'm pleased with the Omnitat!

Magic has resetted yet. At least one hour earlier then usual.
did they start having daylight saving time in Boulder ?
And the last present is an Omnitat.
thank godness they made the cap higher : you can have 5 omnitats now

Yep was wondering about DST starting early up North? My game refresh has been an hour? earlier for 2 or 3 days now...

Really happy about the omnitat gift, but 2000 gems to upgrade it?? I’m sure it didn’t used to be that expensive!
I’m not having any luck with breeding these last two batches of limiteds either.

It has always been such expensive. It takes as much gems to upgrade an habitat as to buy it outright the market.
They should give sort of price deduction for having already the smaller habitat.
In the beginning you could just sell the habitat for gems (as always half the amount of the costs) but BFS changed that at some time.

I was lucky to finally get Silverline.
I have now 1 of Brilliant, Fever, Smoulderbrush, Cyclamen and Silverline, but had no luck with Daffadowndilly, Petunia, Begonia, Derecho and Amaryllis.
So it's 50:50

In my park it's fixed (if you mean the tap on the number of a dragon icon)
maybe you should look if there's an update waiting to be installed.

Yeah I've emailed them multiple times about this and they seem to not want to change it. Makes no sense and in fact a deterrent for many to buy regular or "lesser" versions of these habitats when larger ones are not offers as was the case in this event. Its quite possible they have testes both scenarios and sales in terms of total event currency spent is better when upgrades costs as much as to outright buy it.

Is anyone else getting a message about dragon donation? I can’t do anything else even when I reload the app. There’s no option for dragon donation all o can click on is the house and the settings button

I bought the Prismatic Pantheon, mainly to find flag bearers.  With none and Dragon magic selected, my two current event dragons, Begonia and Smoulderbrush, are in color.  (Orbs and crowns are already turned off.)

I'm also grateful for the Omnitat, but I would have preferred an Aura habitat, since that's what I'm using it for anyways.  And since I'm going to need a 5th slot in my Omnitat in order to display two of each of my Aura dragons, I'm going to need to upgrade it.  Of course, I'm nowhere close to having 2000 gems and don't expect to any time soon, if ever.  After all, I still have 8 Large Rainbow habitats that I want to upgrade, which will cost me 800 gems.

I'm considering selling the Omnitat and then using a wish to get the upgraded Omnitat.  That should work, right?  I have 3 wishes saved up, so that's preferable to trying to save up so many gems.

Thoughts?

I would make sure the upgraded size is available for a wish before selling the smaller one...

Dear grandpakenny, there is a fab group of folk you may not have heard of, who play a game called Dragonvale, and they’ve created a thing called a forum, where they write wee letters and keep each other up to date with changes to their dearly beloved, at times hugely frustrating ( and o so character building therefore) game...... 😈😈😈
AND they keep each other notified, by that wee letter thingie mechanism, of things like fixes to hassles in their dearly beloved, at times hugely frustrating.......game 😈😈😈

No, I'd say with 99 percent certainty that there are no more dragons. Leaving that one out there so you can't blame me though!

I would not sell it ( a sell only brings dragon cash - no gems). I would stow it.
Maybe some time in the future they take the cap to 6 possible omnitats then you luckily can pull it out of the stow.
