Does anyone know the name of the wizard who kinda looks like Whitbee but in petrified state looks like a frozen dalek? And when he moves, he's almost like one too.

What combo’s have you been using? I haven’t breed anything. 😢 I am almost out of Etherium, I must not know the trick on acquiring vast amounts of it.
Re collecting E; two things, expand your Rift as fast as you can with a balance between clearing miasma/ purple fog and buying islands, add dragons, then grow them (level them up) using BathMat each day if you have BathMat yet, or using your own E
Work out how many hours for all your R islands to fill with E (collect the whirligigs too), then pop into the game every (however long it takes to fill all your R islands- for me it’s around 2 hours) X hours to ONLY clear the Rift, DONT get sidetracked or your day will vanish lol
i haven’t levelled up most of my R dragons beyond about 10or so, because I’m not prepared to log into the game more often than every couple of hours, so levelling up further is a waste of E for me in fact these days I’m back to logging in in about 3 times a day...

What is BathMat? I have the Transfiguration Tower and the hibernation cave in the Rift. I may have leveled using E too high.

Data files are showing a shutdown date of 8/21 at reset time. My guess is the event will end on the 19th as expected, and we get 2 days to spend magic.
Yes the limited dragons are available until reset the 21st. (Unless my calculations are really wrong). Wouldn’t that mean that the chest gamery is open until then and the 2 days to spend your magic are after that. Hmmm would be nice to know since I am going to use my gems and try desperatly to get enough magic to buy the 1000 dragons I am missing ha ha, have certainly not been lucky at breeding/cloning in this event.
Well, to be on the safe side it might be better then to try to do all chest games before reset the 19th, because there is no way of knowing for sure is there?

I'm planning on spending gems for extra games by the 19th. It seems to me that once the event ends the ability to play games will go along with it, not that I'm scoring many new Spellform pieces. The last 3 days have all been duplicates. I'm also selling duplicate pieces. I plan on keeping just one of each Spellform pieces.

Mmmm, looking at the descriptions with each spellform piece, I’m imagining bfs using them as requirements in future quests or similar...😈 So even tho I won’t be playing dress up dragons, I won’t be selling them all either

Just spent 10 mins (trying to) search DVWiki for a list of witches and wizards, or visitors, or Elminster and others, or nonplaying figures etc etc gah, nothing too frustrated to continue but you might be better at working out what search terms that site likes/uses...🐨

There are pictures on the DV Wiki of all the wizards. On the Wiki go to Recent Wiki Activity then click on Talk: Secrets of Spellform and you will see them in their frozen and unfrozen states.

I didn't mean Nogard. When he was featured (I forget the event), he looked big and burly. Now it seems he's about as tall or shorter than Whitbee. He looks like a takeoff from Maui in the Polynesian Disney film. I recall the mention of a Hawaiian-sounding name as well.

For those who have have Rigel and another galaxy dragon in the rift, it let's you try for a bunch of the spellform dragons at once. At reset I am breeding Rigel and Nebula for a chance at 5 of the spellform dragons. I won the Rigel as a Dragon Drop prize. You need to check the Sandbox to see what Rigel + galaxy combos work for you.

I'm not sure which one you mean, but they're on the DVs Wiki's "Secrets of Spellform" page here: dragonvale.fandom.com/wiki/Secrets_of_Spellform. I just discovered I could click on The Great Nogard for magic or dragoncash a few days ago.

Since we can never earn additional event currency after an event ends, we won’t be able to play the mini-games after August 19th. At least, that’s the way all the previous events have operated. Maybe this one will be different, but it’d be a reckless chance to take. I think you’re wise to play the mini-games before the 19th. The purpose of the two remaining days after the event concludes is to keep the Bizarre Bazaar open so players can make purchases. Since any dragon in the event store is considered available (green hourglass), they’re still breed-able.
Although we can’t earn any Magic post-event, the one exception is selling extra pieces we’ve collected. I was able to sell extra evolve decorations after the Xmas event ended and while the event store was still open. However, there’s no guarantee we’ll be able to do it again with this event (although I suspect there will be justified outrage if players can’t). If anyone chooses not to sell extra Spellform pieces before the 19th, they should be aware of the risk.

I noticed that watching now gets you 100 magic and 1 gem. Not sure what happens if you wait until you've capped, that's what I usually do so that I can get a gem instead of magic. Now I'm not sure what I should do. LOL. Wait till I reach 2000 magic for the day and take a chance I will get something better or take the magic and the gem and be grateful for that.

Thanks for the heads up. I decided to watch the videos before collecting the max magic since its makes the most sense to take advantage of the free magic. I was able to watch 6 ads. I wonder if you get to watch a different number of ads depending on if you've spent money on the game or not?
