Data files are showing a shutdown date of 8/21 at reset time. My guess is the event will end on the 19th as expected, and we get 2 days to spend magic.
Yes the limited dragons are available until reset the 21st. (Unless my calculations are really wrong). Wouldn’t that mean that the chest gamery is open until then and the 2 days to spend your magic are after that. Hmmm would be nice to know since I am going to use my gems and try desperatly to get enough magic to buy the 1000 dragons I am missing ha ha, have certainly not been lucky at breeding/cloning in this event.
Well, to be on the safe side it might be better then to try to do all chest games before reset the 19th, because there is no way of knowing for sure is there?
The “help” about the event states we will get a warning that the island with the mini games will be going away. Shouldn’t we get that warning on the 19th and the island disappears on the 21st?
I am happy with how this event turned around in the end. I have all the costume pieces, all dragons except Armament and all pedestals except Bastion. I just bred a Bastion last night. I don’t have many rift versions but I will try for them next time around. I have enough to buy Armament if I don’t breed it. My biggest complaint would be that they needed to start the generosity with the chests earlier and/or made every chest reward a piece like the winter event. An event shouldn’t cost thousands of gems (which some people spent early on).
P.S. Sorry to my trading partners if I missed a day. I’ve had a sick kiddo with a hospital visit and the past week has been a blur of exhaustion with barely being able to check my game.

Still haven't managed to breed Riptide, Darcowl, Bastion or Fury. I did manage to get Cerberus from a golden chest, though. And I've wanted one of those for a while now, so that was a pleasant surprise.
I'm still missing a lot of pieces. The heads are the hardest find, and it's frustrating because that's all I need to get Riptide and Bastion are the heads.
If I could only manage to breed Riptide, then I think things would work out perfectly. I could wish for Bastion and buy Darcowl and Fury. But no such luck so far.

Likely a good investment to get all the costumes now, as I assume they will be 50+ gems later. That said, wait until the 'guaranteed golden chest' from the mini-games expires to see how many costumes you actually need.

Just spent 10 mins (trying to) search DVWiki for a list of witches and wizards, or visitors, or Elminster and others, or nonplaying figures etc etc gah, nothing too frustrated to continue but you might be better at working out what search terms that site likes/uses...🐨
There are pictures on the DV Wiki of all the wizards. On the Wiki go to Recent Wiki Activity then click on Talk: Secrets of Spellform and you will see them in their frozen and unfrozen states.
Where do I find ‘recent wiki activity’ oomagooma25 ? I can’t find a page or link named that, and entering it into the search didn’t bring it up either...help w navigating the site when you have a sec would be gratefully received 😊 EDIT; s’ok, I got there in the end, just kept entering terms into the search box...

Same here — only missing Armament. Feeling VERY lucky, when reading others’ post re their results.

Just curious. Are you planning to sell duplicate Spellform pieces or keep them?
2 of each for me as well for total of 4 sets per dragon. This way I can equip both rift and twin rift variants too.
That was my plan also. Turns out to be trickier than I thought, since I had 10-13 of quite many but only 1 of way too many, ugh this event is a headache. I have evened it out a little bit of course by selling excessive ones. (I still feel really unlucky in this event and it has cost me an arm and a leg in gems).
Managed to breed Bastion though, so I can afford the rest of the dragons.
Will just have to see how it goes with getting 2 of every piece, depends on what happens in the last few days, maybe I can acquire/afford them, maybe not.

It has been a long time since I have played an event and ended with all the dragons, all pedestals and all event tiers gold. I am a happy Dragonvale player (for now 😜). 🐉❤️
