Thanks to the advice of the many knowledgeable and kind people on this forum, I have all my ivy leafs and all but 4 of the other needed decorations. Now, am I correct that the smartest thing would be to evolve 2 rift mono 3’s and then just parent clone them in my main park to get them there? Since I still haven’t managed to get a woodvine or clairvoyant in the co-op, I have to reserve enough eggs to buy them just in case.
If you particularly want two rifted Hedera dragons then yes, that is much cheaper than buying them with eggs. If you only want one rifted, then I would suggest breeding the rifted one with one in co-op. I'm sure that you could find a friend to put one in for you. IF these evolved dragons have the same odds as the last evolved dragons (Aubergine, Karroot etc) they were relatively easy to clone in the social cave. You could always evolve one and try cloning in co-op and see how many attempts it takes.
I haven't been able to breed either Woodvine or Clairvoyant in co-op either, so I'm also saving my eggs in case I have to buy them at the end of the event.
🐨🐨🐨 - for help in breeding Woodvine and/or Clairvoyant.
My thought was that if I ever need a hedera of a particular trait for breeding a possible future locked combo, getting two rifted now is the only way to be able to obtain other traits later. Correct? Maybe they would never do that, but there do seem to be a few strange/difficult breeding requirements.

I have all 4 sets of evolution items, but don’t understand something. Which Monolith dragons do we use for which evolution? Is the answer right in front of me, but i’m Overlooking it? I answered my own question by looking on DV Wiki. But now I have another. If I evolve my one rifted monolith 4 into a Hedera, will that Hedrra be rifted. Or should I keep the rifted mono as it is & just evolve a Reg mono into a Hedera? Thanks!
Here are the required decorations and base dragons for the new evolve Monoliths:
If you evolve a traited Monolith 3, it will become a traited Hedera. The trait and twin status of the base dragon carries over to the evolved dragon.

PSA: the Poll Plaza is back with all its questions and would like to know if you want a new mini-game for future events.

Pixie has finally joined the springtime celebration!
Put those 10 roses to work and evolve a (pink) Monolith 6 dragon.
(Also, Serket, Morpho, Rhinotorch, and Faux have all joined Pixie in the Limited tier.)
Pixie, at last, your moment in the Vale’s sun has arrived. And it’s here to stay.

Lol, I love this! Can’t wait to see what it looks like. Will make sure not to let this one slip through my fingers. Thanks for the nudge. EDIT: Got it - Blue Hearted and ready to breed.

You can always buy another trait with Etherium in the Transfiguration tower

Before you sacrifice your only Mono 3, 4 or 6 and evolve it to one of the new dragons, could I suggest trying to breed another one first? They are not as hard to breed from a parent in the combo, quite a bit harder if you are using two random Mono dragons to breed them. If you need a Stoneshell, Tansy or Tulip dragon try breeding for them. Chances are pretty good that you will also get the Mono you are using as a parent.
I have managed to increase my stocks of Mono dragons by breeding for the Hidden Dragons.
I'm trying to get rifted glimmerwing, is it possible to breed one in the runic breeding cave? Has anyone succeeded in breeding galaxy dragon in runic cave? Thanks
I have tried the entire event for a Mono 3 to no avail. I did indeed sacrifice the one I had to evolve into Hedera. I’ll keep trying for the Mono. It’ll turn up.... eventually.

I wish I could send you a Mono 3, I have gotten several extra, but the Mono 1 and especially Mono 2 have over whelmed my rift. I just wish I could breed a rift Mono 5 and Mono 6. I have no idea how many unsuccessful attempts I have made in my baby park. I hope we both have success soon.

You are able to breed two galaxy dragons in the runic cave but you will never get a galaxy dragon as offspring.

Did I know that? If I ever did, I had completely forgotten about it. I guess I must have seen it when I switched traits in the tower...but I probably never paid attention. My rift is still new enough that I have a limited supply of etherium. One day, I will have all the habitats and everything cleared... then maybe I will pay better attention to those important details. Thanks for the heads up. Now I know. I don’t think I will forget again.

Just to be sure: all Crysalis type dragons from before this event can still be bred right? Because they are permanent? (Still missing a lot of them in the Rift and was breeding for Busby. Wanted to make sure I can keep going.)

Yes Sofie, the Chrysalis are all able to be bred. 🦋🐉😊

FYI: I was able to nab a TWIN TRIPLE LEAP YEAR that had evaded me previously by using my regular Triple Leap Year and my Rifted Triple Leap Year in the RBC. Did not mind all the fails as most were unique breeds that netted me extra eggs!
New Quest : Creeping Charlie - 16hrs. Pretty sure the only element was Monolith. I tried Glyph, but only got treats as a reward - no chests.
