That said, the Paradise Habitat for 1000 is the best long term bang for your buck. As they don't count against your Habitat limit you can get a heap (putting extras in your Storage Tower).
Memories of Paradise has been extended! The event will now run through 28 August and conclude on 29 August at 11am MDT. It will not be possible to earn additional Flowers after this time, but the Beachside Bungalow will remain open for two additional day so you can turn in any leftover Flowers you may have.
When does the Beachside Bungalow close?
The Beachside Bungalow will close at 11am MDT on 31 August and event prizes will no longer be available after this time.
What happens to my leftover Flowers at the end of Memories of Paradise?
After the Beachside Bungalow closes on 31 August, any leftover Flowers will be converted into DragonCash at a rate of 1,000 DragonCash per 1 Flower.
Confusion of the event end could be from the event info posted on our own first page. 😞

I agree. Habitats that do not count against your limit are usually few and far between. I have bought 25 so far. The next island will be Paradise. ☀️🌈
There should be a countdown timer on event islands and also in the news section. This happens almost every single event where it just disappears before some have completed tasks like choosing gifts or eggs. We need a countdown timer for the event end and a countdown timer to spend currency.
Will Deca return the event island? What happens now?
Deca is new to the game but BFS and Hasbro never returned the event island. If it was an egg choice you missed sometimes you can contact them and let them know what you wanted and they can gift it to you. It is worth a try, contact them through your game. I feel bad for players that seem to miss getting what they bred for (rune caves) or egg choice. A countdown timer in news and the event island or even under the currency bar for the event itself would alleviate a lot of confusion each event. There is a countdown timer for market purchases after the event ends so up under the currency bar while the event plays out shouldn’t be hard to incorporate in the events.

All apologies. I found the end dates confusing when the event was extended, and the extension itself caused more confusion. At first, the event was to end on the 18th, then the 29th with the usual two days to make purchases, then it was the 28th with three days to shop.
I tried to convey the change with a post about the extension, but sadly didn’t update the FP the second time. I feel terrible if that messed up the plans for yours or others’ event strategy. If it’s any consolation, with the ever-changing, revolving end dates, I completely forgot the event was concluding, so it came as a surprise. To Deca’s credit they did have the correct end dates in their event FAQ.
Unfortunately, I can’t gift Flowers, but if members were lead down the path of the 29th end date by me, I can send you a gift card so you can buy more Flowers if you message me your contact/email info.
If you didn’t select an egg from the Tidal Timekeeper, email Deca and tell them which egg you want. The choices were the Bright Wild Nights and Party in Paradise dragons. journeywoman and mishkasmom, I’ll let Deca know you (and perhaps others who didn’t post) will be contacting them. You may not hear back from Deca until Monday. If you have any issues claiming your egg, please message me.

Due to a potential limit on the number of friends a player can have before issues arise in the game, I will only be able to add Forum members. Thank you, for your understanding, and please consider joining us!
Combustion has been added to the Special - Celebration category in your Dragonarium.
Thank you MinyaZ! I thanked Deca for this correction yesterday, and reminded them Combustion is missing from the Vintage subcategory, where the other 100th dragons reside (in case anyone was wondering why it’s not listed there). With the inclusion of the Celebration subcategory, Combustion’s zero effect on red fire should be resolved. So if you own all the dragons except Combustion, red fire should not show.

gweny and Quil (please tell your lovely wife, Quil), you are THE ABSOLUTE TOPS! May gems and treats follow you wherever you go. I shall start by sending you some.

OMG don’t worry about it! It’s funny how some are quick to blame. You don’t have to send us money for flowers that’s WAY WAY WAY too much. Everybody got as many flowers as they were going to get. We all had the same amount of days to get flowers.
I mean that’s REALLY REALLY REALLY nice of you but you can’t be the only one responsible for the Memories of Paradise thread. I know I said before that I don’t look at page 1 of threads but I don’t mind doing it at all. From now on I’ll check page 1 of the event threads and see if there is anything that needs to be updated. We can all help out!

We all missed it. I wish I would have seen it sooner. The dates going back and forth threw everyone off. That is why we should campaign for a countdown event timer. It would alleviate the always confusing end times or mysterious end times when not posted , when there are extensions, etc...

I have 25 in my storage tower! I hope DECA makes 8 islands for the next island sale!

There is no need for apologies at all, let alone sending gift cards! You have done so much for this forum and the DV community that most of us cannot thank you enough. We are all adults playing this game and can take care of our own vales. Admittedly, DECA is new to this game, and as you indicated, we just have to be patient with them for a while.
Hopefully, we will have a little break after this event, so some of us can take the time to decorate our Paradise island(s). koala to all and happy breeding!

Truer words were never spoken. We should all get together and buy YOU gift cards, adlerist. You are AWESOME. I hope you know that. Because it is the absolute truth. You have helped me with this game more than I can say. I am so grateful for you.
To err is human. I guess that makes me very human.
I do agree a countdown timer would help. I think it should appear the last 2 or 3 days, like a last call for the event. Then, it would all of a sudden appear, giving you a warning that the event is about to end. Until it appeared, you would know that the event is not about to end.

I think we can all agree that adlerist is one of the best things to ever happen to this forum. ❤ 💜 💙
There's no need for gift cards and apologies. We all make mistakes, it's a natural part of being human. And by far the best gift we could receive is being here amongst the wonderful people of the forum, people we've made friends with, people who have become like family. And that includes you, adlerist. You're amazing and we love you, so please don't feel bad about what happened.
We share our physical lives with those in spirit. For life, like love, never dies. Love knows no limits, not even death.
gweny and Quil (please tell your lovely wife, Quil), you are THE ABSOLUTE TOPS! May gems and treats follow you wherever you go. I shall start by sending you some.
That is amazing. Just going to point out that if you all were participating in The Last Call competition, you’d all be reviving a mess of gems from others.
This is a very last minute whine before the event closes and we can no longer use our flowers.
There have been several comments about Hanno, Grove and Oaris being 'easy' to clone in co-op. I have been trying on and off all event and continuously for the last few days. Nothing, nada, zip, zero, but so many Swamp and Seaweed dragons. If I could clone one, it would mean I could use the flowers to buy more Paradise Habitats.

I think I will join you. Although I was able to breed a Grove in my main park, my baby park is still being overrun with Swamp and Seaweed dragons. In my main park I have been trying to clone my rift Razzle, but no matter what I do, Razzle refuses to show up. I can buy one if I need to, but I would rather breed it. Here is to success for both of us.
