Soriak was not assigned to any specific category in the Dragonarium and can only be found under 'All'. Only dragons in categories count towards the fire. It's a bug that it's not assigned, and probably a second bug that the fire still goes off - but that was likely their solution for not counting ghostly dragons or something.

regular > twin > rift

If you have none you get a regular > if you have a regular, you get a twin > if you have a twin you get a twin rift

regular > twin > rift

If you have none you get a regular > if you have a regular, you get a twin > if you have a twin you get a twin rift 

Is the dragon itself a random choice first, then the regular - twin - rift ?

im missing some 50ish dragons, but I got a twin Rifted smolder 😕, which I already have the twin Rifted version of this dragon, but not twin Rifted pedistal.  

Kinda bummed for not getting an unowned dragon.

Most reward mystery eggs are not guaranteed unowned including the ones we buy in the rift. They do give them out from time to time in an event but rarely. The daily reward mystery eggs from log in are unowned from each category but if you have all from the category it will be random. So even if you are missing a twin of something you may get a twin rift of something you already have.

But what are these?

Calendar gift choices are usually at the end of the event and you get to choose from a list. If you have a regular, you can choose a twin, if you have a twin, you can choose a twin rift. 

Runic cave choices are from events where we have the runic caves. You can use runestones to pick an egg from a list of dragons you have bred in the cave. These are a great way to get rift versions of dragons that can’t be bred in the rift from the event. For instance...I have an Apex twin right now and if I could breed an Apex egg in a runic cave, I could choose an Apex rift dragon which would not be available until BEB or collection comebacks.

It looks like the original house dragon pedestals (M. Sun, B. Gale, I. Torrent, H Bolt and I. Blossom) at 200 currency are the best thing to buy if you have excess currency. They sell for 1,000,000 each and you can make 5,000,000 per 1,000 pinecones.

I would prioritize getting all or any Hidden Habitats you can before selling off currency.

Also, i don’t think the hidden habitats bought in the event count toward your habitat count. I looked at my total habitats before i purchased them & then after and my habitat count had not gone up.

Adlerist, could you please refresh my memory about your favorite food to purchase? I thought I remembered you saying in an event (3-4 ago maybe) that you had a fav food that you purchased that really opened the game up for you, etc.
i have searched and searched the threads & cannot find the info. Do you remember what i am talking about? It was one of the expensive ones that give you tons of food at a time, that is all i can remember ...

Meta-carotene gives out 1,250,000 per 30,000,000 and is the best food to buy in bulk if you have a lot of dragoncash. There are others that are cheaper like Jellyplant but it only nets you 12,000 treats at a time.

When does Camp DragonVale end?



The Camp DragonVale event runs through October 25th, and concludes on October 26th at 11:00 AM Mountain Time. It will not be possible to earn additional Pine Cones after this time, but the Campsite Merchant will remain open for two additional days so you can spend any leftover Pine Cones you may have.
