So, I went to change a love dragon into a wrath in the rift to get a rifty wrath, and the text said 100 gems for the transformation, but the button to actually perform the transformation said 1k candy. Also, last time I logged off the game,I had collected all the special visitors And the border around my visitors count was gone. This time I logged in, the border was back and I collected two more bundles of treats before the game crashed. Do treats come back? Adly, DECA doesn’t need to know this, I think it is acting fine.
I think they’re in the golden chests of the mini-games. That’s usually where players can win them during events. But the odds are really lousy.
Ohhh, that reminds me. Might we find any body parts in chests?
Yes, I can confirm that I got a body part for Macabre in a chest when I played the name that egg game. I was a little surprised to get chests so soon, on the first set of plays.
I was really hoping for the artificial bone path, which I was unable to get from the previous event. 😩😔😢 I just wonder when or if they will eventually offer it, even for purchase. Please....
Managed to clone a Gatren, he's up in co-op now. Took a crazy amount of gems to that, but what else am I going to spend gems on now?

Gatren's elements are Fire, Earth, Cold & Dark. If you have an elder of any of these use that, or the highest level dragon you have that doesn't contribute any other elements.
A lot of the returning spooky dragons from the market are showing as unavailable to breed right now. I am sure this is a mistake so please check the dragons hourglass before wasting breeds. This will probably be fixed soon.
Deca still have not corrected this. As amos suggested, check your Dragonarium before wasting breeds.
Most of the Om of Nom dragons are available to breed - except Berry, not sure why he is being punished.
Only a few of the Spooky dragons are available to breed.
Rather than remove the dragons from the first page of the thread and the Encyclopaedia Dracontine (adlerist may not speak to me again!) I have put a bold heading by the returning dragons. This will be removed when the dragons are available to breed.

Also the combo with the shortest breed time, because the chances of cloning it will shorten the average fail time. I think it’s 8 hours with those elements, Obsidian would be a good choice. Unless primaries can be cloned, in which case choose Fire.
I missed the last two Halloween events, so right now I’m a bit overwhelmed. All my breeding caves are empty right now and I just don’t know where to start, like with what dragon to aim for first. There are so many 😳
One thing, maybe I’m not understanding at the moment, but Porcelain, Wrath and Corrupticorn are all in the market, but shaded out, unable to buy, only to transform. But to transform i need flames of corruption and tendrils and such, but theses are no where to be found. Or at least I’m not seeing how to acquire these items. 🤦🏻♀️ Where do I get them?!?!?

It's frustrating to go through the sandbox and realize I'm missing one of the 6-10ish repeating dragons for each pair. Wish there was a guide that showed the path as in, starting out you should have the dragons needed to breed a,b,c and then from those you can breed d,e,f etc. Am I making sense? It seems clear in my head, but that can be a scary place 😂

I know exactly what you mean, but I don't think that there is such a list.
You probably need to look at the dragons available at the beginning of each event to see which ones you need to let you breed one of the others. For example for Barbarous you need ONI & RAGNAROK. Not so bad as Ragnarok is permanent and Oni is available to breed this event. Most of the dragons that are a requirement for the Halloween dragons are available to breed now and outside of BEB, they are not usually breedable.
If you need a lot of Halloween dragons, it is probably easier to look at the Encyclopaedia Dracontine to start with rather than the sandbox to see which dragons are needed for breeding. The first post has the current available dragons. (Check your dragonarium first for the Halloween dragons as Deca hasn't made some of them available)
If you look at last years Christmas event, you'll see a similar thing. Dragons that have locked breeding requirements, the required dragons are usually available to be bred during the event.
Not sure if this helps at all, but I hope that you understand what I am trying to say.
So, the pumpkins and various harvest items respawn. I found all 10 at the beginning of the event (rare for me...I'm usually too lazy to do them all at once!). I went back in just now to do some breeding before bedtime and lo and behold, the border was back and I found six more items before the border disappeared. It seems some respawn but not all...and I've no idea what the time scale is because I didn't notice anything when I went in a few hours ago. My estimated times are probably around six hours apart from first full item collection to now?

According to DECA's guide, it costs 1000 candy to evolve dragons. Though the direct quote is "Tap the "Evolve" button to transform your dragon. Please note that evolving a dragon will cost 1000 Magic." It's under the "How to evolve a dragon" section in the guide that adlerist linked to.
I don't have the disposable income in candy to test this theory at the moment.
What does the border change look like? Handy to have a different cue that there's something to find.
If you haven't collected all the extras from the event, the visitor icon has a purple and orange border around it with pumpkins in the top left corner. Once you have found all the extras, the border and pumpkins disappear.
You can also click on the visitor icon and it will say that there are visitors and items hiding in your park.
What does the border change look like? Handy to have a different cue that there's something to find.
On the left side of the screen when in your game you have a book then a square that has a wizard and a witch the outside or border-of the square around the wizard and witch turned purple/pink and behind the wizards head there will be pumpkins and by the witches head there is a ! mark. When you find all things and special visitors the pumpkins and the ! disappear and the purple/pink border around the wizard and witch turns gray. The flag that is with the wizard and witch will disappear when you find all the flag people (fire, earth, etc.). That is the way it shows in my park hope that helps.

Primaries can't be cloned with the normal breeding methods (although they can result from opposite breeds), but the way breeding works in game it actually doesn't matter what you use to clone a dragon other than trying to avoid longer fails if it's not in the rift. When doing a breed, the cloning chances are checked first and are set no matter the resulting possible outcomes. If the clone chance of Gatren is 1.5 percent (it is), then no matter what dragon you use and no matter what outcomes can occur, you have a 1.5 percent chance of getting it. If you pick Obsidian, which has a 1 percent cloning chance (not breeding - that will be much, much higher), then you have a 1.5% Gatren chance, 1% Obsidian, and then the leftover 97.5% will split between the other possible outcomes no matter how many there are.
Using something like a double rainbow would be a bad idea, not because of the possible number of fails, but because it has a slightly higher chance of cloning the double rainbow and locking up your breeding cave.
You might considering using a plant dragon, or something with a much shorter breed time if you get a fail and it contains that element instead of just the original 4. The average fails for just fire, earth, cold and dark right now are very long.
This doesn't apply if the dragon you're cloning has 3 elements, since adding a 4th can do things like add rainbow and other long fails to your pool. You just want to ensure you're not raising the average fail times or adding something terribly long. It also doesn't apply to the rift, where you don't care about fail times. If you're trying to clone a dragon there with one you already own, use anything at all.
Finally, if it's dragon that you can both breed and clone, for example Soriak this week, then you certainly want to use the elements for that dragon and not add anything new to the breeding pool. That way you get both the cloning and breeding odds added together!

Right now I’m at work, but I’ll put something together in the next 24 hours. My first suggestion got you us to breed plant, fire, earth and cold. This will give you a chance at Bone and Eldritch, which are both available to breed. If they fix the others then you’ll be able to get a whole bunch of the others.
Poison/Flower + Glacier will give you the best fail times.
