Not really. You could narrow it down by only buying starting dragons for the most fancy ghostlies, e.g. spirit, ghost, nosferatu. Honestly though, breeding them can take forever. It's not worth it to breed them during Halloween.

Thanks for the advice! But that just made me think of more questions. So do the effigies allow you to breed them outside of the Halloween event?

The effigies allow you to evolve one of your primary dragons to a ghostly dragon - ie Effigy of the Cold allows you to evolve your primary Cold dragon to a Ghostly Cold. You will 'lose' your cold dragon as it is now a Ghostly Cold.  Apart from Mystery Eggs and Daily Login Rewards, this is the only way you can get a Ghostly primary dragon.

I am unsure during this event whether the evolution will cost you event currency or 100 gems.  Once you have the effigies, you can evolve your primary dragons at any time, but it will cost 100 gems.

Once you have the primary ghostly dragons, you can breed all the others (Ghostly Poison etc) at any time.

Also, primary Ghost dragons can not be parent bred using only one as a parent, you need to use two as parents.

Right. But it’s the specific combination of a primary + opposite hybrid that allows you to clone the primary. It’s a holdover from when Opposites could only be bred by Primary + Opposite Hybrid. Those were the days ...

The only additional thing I do, in terms of what others have listed, is to log out and wait a few minutes, then log back in. Hidden objects have usually been moved in the interim, and are easier to find. 🐨🐨🐨🐨

Short answer: nope.  At least not that I know of.  My 'process', if it helps, is that in black and white (with correct Pantheon settings), I go through each island looking for the items (pumpkins/treats) while collecting cash (nothing else off).  Then I turn the paths off and go back through more quickly just looking for specks of colour (items!) and only turn on the paths when I find one, then back off to look for more - this will save the on/off for every island.  If I feel like I have a decent memory that day and there are only a few, I'll leave the paths off to look and just turn them back when I'm done looking and tap the 'hidden' items from memory.

That's exactly what I do too.
One cycle through the park collecting from all habitats and clicking on the event items I can see and another cycle in path exit mode till I found all event items.

Pumpkin 2, 20 Candy, every 14 mins 24 secs, Max 2 times a day.
Pumpkin 3, 30 Candy, every 14 mins 24 secs, Max 2 times a day.
Pumpkin 4, 50 Candy, every 14 mins 24 secs, Max 1 time a day.
Treats 1, 1000 Food, every 14 mins 24 secs, Max 10 times a day.
Treats 2, 1000 Food, every 14 mins 24 secs, Max 10 times a day.
Treats 3, 1000 Food, every 14 mins 24 secs, Max 10 times a day.
Treats 4, 1000 Food, every 14 mins 24 secs, Max 10 times a day.
Treats 5, 1000 Food, every 14 mins 24 secs, Max 10 times a day.

Not sure if anyone has noticed this before, but I found it rather interesting so I thought I'd leave a little note just in case. 😊

Apparently the treats will respawn after using Kairos to jump ahead a couple hours. I was in my park this morning, making use of Kairos to clear out the clutter in my nursery. After he had finished doing his thing, I noticed a basket of treats suddenly appeared on a path next to his perch.

So not only can he accelerate time, Kairos is also the official treat bringer of Halloween. 🍫🎃🍫

EDIT: Of course, I could be wrong, having just noticed the post about how these things respawn on their own every now and then. But in my mind, I like to imagine that he is responsible for it. Because wouldn't that be cute if he partnered with Whither to bring goodies to the vale?

Good Mawning! The mawvellous MAW is in the co-op eating all the candy.

Maw is dressed as a brown paper lunch bag for Hallowe’en. Just look at this fantastic potato.



Oh, and he also unhinges his jaw and swallows the Vale.

👍That’s pretty much the system I’ve been using for years.  It’s unusual if I don’t get everything, including Flaggers, on my first trip through my park.

When I turned on my iPad this morning I noticed it had updated to the new iOS...14.1. Then, when I opened DV, I noticed the only Friends present were the DV Friends...ALL my old friends from the Game Center days had vanished. I didn’t panic...I pressed the Game Center Login button and they all came back 😅

PSA - tonight is the USA time change. Don’t know if that affects anything anymore. BFS used to be here in Colorado, so reset would be affected, but I don’t know where the game is hosted now.

I believe Deca is located in Berlin Germany. They ended DST and fell back an hour on 10/25.

This time I logged in, the border was back and I collected two more bundles of treats before the game crashed. Do treats come back? Adly, DECA doesn’t need to know this, I think it is acting fine.

I've had a series of irritating crashes, just after I tap a pumpkin. So I've had to reboot and start over again each time
