It’s not a bug. This is how the Rift and pedestals operate in the game. You should not receive event currency or XP when you select a pedestal while breeding in the Rift, or when placing the pedestal after it’s travelled through the Rift Gate. This post describes the Rift pedestals further.

My niece is 6 and she knows these Christmas songs. I guess that means you could be anywhere from 6-150 that doesn’t really narrow it down. I always thought you’re around my age but it’s impossible to guess from the songs you post they’re from 1920 to just last year lol. I can’t even tell what kind of music you like you’ve linked pop/rock to country to jazz to classical. All I know is you have a lot of music knowledge it’s like a record store. I love the variety!

I wasn't able to attend last winters event and think I might have missed out. 😕.
It’s such a cute tree with its sparkling star on top. ☺️ I sure would like to have one!

Or is it like the blue bird from the camping trip, just there to tease 🤔

Good news LynnMarie the Starlight Spruce is for sale in the Sleigh tier of the event for 550 iceberries.  It is a very cute decoration - slightly smaller than the one on the event island, but sparkles and twinkles beautifully.

(If you would like to see it in action, I have one on my Snowflake island - very top, left hand island)

No teasing involved.  

Edited to add - you don't need to stop at one.
