Breezy Blustering is the pick of the day. Snowflake Catching is an easy second. And Cold Forging, with so many dragon eggs required for its goals, is the last one to work on.

I got a new quest (think it is new since I couldn’t find it listed) : Hiding like snowbody’s business. With a cold element. The timer was 16 hours. Hence, me thinks it is the Snowball. 😉

I probably had a 90% chance at snowball, but it's not looking well. I'll need to buy all three rares too, and likely every single other limited by not owning rifted parents.

Don't give up yet sun .  If you have a friend with Snowball up, try and clone one as well as trying to breed it. With cloning, you don't get the long (and many) fails that you can when breeding. I was successful cloning a Snowball using Ghostly Cold.

Try for Longcicle, before the other rares as it only has the three elements, so again not as many fails.

I am currently sharing Snowball in my parks (when I remember) and happy to friend you if you like.  Send me a message rather than reply to this post - the broom hasn't been used for a while and Kiwichris must be getting itchy fingers to use it again.

Sending some koalas your way.

Good news LynnMarie the Starlight Spruce is for sale in the Sleigh tier of the event for 550 iceberries.  It is a very cute decoration - slightly smaller than the one on the event island, but sparkles and twinkles beautifully.

(If you would like to see it in action, I have one on my Snowflake island - very top, left hand island)

No teasing involved.  

Edited to add - you don't need to stop at one.

The spruce in the event market is slightly smaller than the event island spruce. But it is just as fabulous.

Last Xmas, the Starlight Spruce limit was finally lifted... so I purchased 62. They have their own island and are insanely cheerful all year round.

It is very clever, I only appreciated that he lost his head and changed form once I had him and was using him in co-op.  BUT I wish that Deca had made his 'usual' form the snowman, rather than the snow 'monster'. He is almost suitable for Halloween, rather than cute and cuddly for Christmas. (Not that you can cuddle a snowman)

I'm not complaining - I bought all three rare dragons. On the other hand, my second Snowball is on the way (coop again - the regular breeding spots have yielded zilch) so I can skip the egg.
Wishing you koalas on these last two days, or cloning. I've found coop cloning more fruitful.

I hadn’t even noticed this 🤦‍♀️ To say I invest a lot of time and effort into breeding the dragons I really don’t spend enough time enjoying them. It took me far too long to notice Scorn’s temper tantrums, I’ve only just seen Verglace elegantly skate around the ice & spot that Starshine is a right show off! There’s so much more going on but I bet I’ve still missed some. Has anyone else got any favourites? (Probably for a different thread!)

I love the animation! It’s so funny when he loses his head and his body is like what the heck? lol! I don’t think I’d like Snowball as much if the snowman was it’s main form. I agree the snowman is very cute tho and I really like it! But it’s not very much like a dragon. The way Snowball looks now fits the game. To me it’s not very spooky it reminds of a friendlier version of Gatren but that’s just my opinion and I can see minyaz’s point.

The odd for cloning in the cooperative are MUCH better than breeding with the parents. Adlerist included the odds in the post when Snowball was released dragonvale-tips.proboards.com/post/202814

Sleigh Race seems to be the best place to start. It is the only tower with 3 stages of the 3x3 grid, and the unlock scores are the lowest of the 3 towers.

Solstice Showdown seems to be the next easiest. The first 3 stages are very similar to Lamp Lighting, but Stage 4 is markedly easier, with 6 plant dragon eggs guaranteed, and only 3 dragons required.

Lamp Lighting should probably be left till last. Although Stage 5 would be a bit of a toss up with Solstice Showdown. There is one less dragon egg of the required type preset, but the score required is 5000 less, which is not a small difference. Even if you skip Stage 4 of Lamp Lighting, you might find Stage 5 easier to complete once it is unlocked.
