More 🍷 from me… Lately, my DV has been crashing when I ‘say yes’ to the offer to DOUBLE my daily sign-in reward by watching an ad. As a result, I get nothing 😡. I’m sure I’m not the only player who’s experiencing this. DECA needs to make this up to us.
I tend to find I get a random gift of 25 gems whenever this happens. Sometimes it ends up pretty low down my gifts list. I've seen other people mention they get this too. Have you checked to see if that's the case?

Are you saying you don't receive the Double Rewards for DC and treats because the ad crashes your game?
Or are you saying when the Daily Reward is 3-6 gems, the game crashes either before or during/after you watch an ad for Double Rewards, so you believe you’re not receiving the gems?
If it’s the former, contact support and let them know that you received DC or treats for your Daily Reward and could not double it because the ad crashed the game.
If it’s the latter (about the loss of gems), it’s more involved, so I won’t go into it unless this is the case.

As soon as I ‘click’ the Double offer it crashes (the ad doesn’t even start) and it goes back to my Home Screen but DV is still in the ‘background’. After I ‘hard close’ DV and come back in it’s as if I had been playing… no indication that this was the first log-in attempt of the day. Occasionally I get 25 Gems but with a ‘thanks for logging in/playing’ type of message. 🤷🏼♂️ I never associated those 25 Gems with any kind of crash. I didn’t get them today. I’ll let you know if I get them after tomorrow’s initial login.

It sounds like the game is crashing when the Daily Reward is 3-6 gems, not treats or DC.
I did a lot of testing on this issue and wrote posts about it on this thread. There is a bug with Double Rewards. When the Daily Reward is 3-6 gems, the game crashes. It crashes because there are two different gem rewards, one is 3-6 gems, and the other is 25 gems. When Deca added Double Rewards, something went askew in the code, and now the game is constantly trying to give the player 25 gems.
For example, if your Daily Reward is 5 gems. The game will crash either as soon as the game is opened, shortly after opening the Daily Reward of gems, or during or after you watch the ad for Double Rewards. The crash is not due to the advert. If you don’t play an ad, the game will still crash.
When you reopen your game, you will either have 25 gems in your Gifts or 25 gems added to your gem total. I’ve been tracking this bug since Double Rewards was implemented in October 2023, and it has not shortchanged any of my parks in gems. It rewards 25 gems instead of 3-6 gems, every single time.
When the Daily Reward is 25 gems, there is no glitch. You will receive the 25 gems and can watch an ad for 25 more gems (provided that the ad doesn’t crash). I did this today and received 50 gems. If the ad does crash the game, you will at least receive the initial 25 gems.
If the crash occurs very quickly, the gems will likely be in your Gifts. If it takes several seconds or longer, there’s a better chance the gems will be added to your total. In my maxed-out main park, the gems are almost always added to the total. In my mini-parks, the crashes occur quickly so the gems are in Gifts. This is what they look like in your Gifts.
I’ve informed Deca of the Double Rewards bug several times. They know players are receiving extra gems. No word on when it’ll be fixed.
At least players can no longer accuse Deca of only fixing bugs that benefit the player.

The app shut down when I tried to watch the advertisement to double my daily reward (it was 25 gems!), and also when I tried to watch Tolzar's vision, and speed up breeding. It was ok yesterday. I am using the 4th generation iPad Pro and I have updated the OS and my app is the latest version.

It sounds like when you click an ad button, the game instantly crashes, no part of the advert shows. This is a known bug that’s been reported. I found a way to get the ad to play and wrote it up last week on this thread in two posts that can be seen here together.
Deca is working on the ad crashes, loading problems, and random crashes while playing. These are complex issues affecting different parts of the game, so they won’t be easy or quick to address. When we have news about an update with potential fixes, we will let players know. I know how annoying and frustrating it is when the game crashes a lot. Thank you for your patience. 😌

For the last 20 min (it’s now 10:06PM MDT) or so I have been unable to sign into DV. After a longer than normal wait it gives me the CONNECTION ERROR message. Obviously, I have an internet connection ‘cause here I am… this is getting bad…

Everybody is receiving the Connection Error message when they attempt to open DV. It appears the servers are down. I’ve notified Deca, but it’s 6:00 AM on a Saturday in Deca land.
I’ll let everybody know when there’s an update.

Servers down 🤷🏼♂️ After shutting down my iPad and restarting it DV came back on but the servers were down? Oh well, thanks.
It was definitely an issue with the servers. No players in any of the DV communities could open DV. It wasn’t a problem with your device or internet connection.

I don't know if this a bug or not, but the Galaxy theme still has a max of 36 while every other theme was increased to 40 when the 4 new islands were added.
This still seems to be the case as of the first few days of Decorator's Week.

I reported this issue during the EE, when you first mentioned it. Deca is aware, but it may not be flagged as a priority.

I just had a MAJOR bug - my park level decreased to 70, my coin etc. counts decreased and the settings on pantheon/weather/theme changed too. There may have been other things but I closed the game as soon as I loaded into it, but a reload has shown it's still like that.
I've contacted support but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to restore my progress?
UPDATE: This is a resolved issue, luckily support were able to fix it very quickly! (If it's all right with the staff I'll keep this post so that anyone who has a similar issue can see that contacting support is the solution, and for peace of mind.) Thank you Deca!

Been dealing with Monopoly Go and Travel Town ads crashing my iphone 14 for about 2 weeks. Maybe since I got it… They’ll play all the way through, with me clicking the 15 second count downs, I get to the end and they just… crash the game. Now I don’t bother watching them. I just close and restart the game and cross my fingers it doesn’t give me one of those two again. I chuckled at the explanation post on page 1, because it used Monopoly Go as the example 3 years ago!!! 🫠
So: 1. Monopoly Go and Travel Town 2. iphone 14 3. Crashing DV after it plays the ad all the way through 4. Unity Ads

This crashing has been getting progressively worse for me this week. If I wasn’t so bent on getting the event currency, I’d just stop watching ads.
