Anyone know the upgrade costs for the Melody Habitats?
Is it the same to upgrade from the base size (2500) to the Large (5000) and then Giant (7500), or better to just go for the Giant?

I’ve asked Deca both of these questions. And also, how much the Melody habitat will cost if it is available after the event. Still awaiting a reply.
I bought one each of all 3 sizes of Melody Habitats (unlike other habitats these have such great animation I am going to want all sizes not just the largest). I can upgrade my regular for 5,000 and upgrade my Large for 7,500. So if you want Giant, it is cheaper to just buy for 7,500. If you buy the regular and upgrade it, the giant will end up costing you 15,000.
PSA: If you were locked out, you should be able to load your park now!

Turns out Deca Games picked the perfect event to finally push back the reset time. That was a surprisingly quick fix for such a major issue! Props to them! Though I do think next time, they really need to double check for bugs and other mischievous Halloween dragons that might cause problems.
Such a shame that we can only get 3 Melody habitats. I want all sizes, they are beautiful, but getting one of each size means I can ONLY get ONE of each size. No fair.

Yeah I was locked out within two minutes of reset and I contacted Deca. They got on it quick but I would’ve been surprised if they didn’t. You can’t have people unable to play the game that’s a sure way to lose players by the thousands. No good developer would let it slide.
Ok, I LOVE the new Melody habitat. BUT the animation is hidden when I put cubes around the habitat so visitors / gifts can't hide out behind the habitat. Not a fan.

Upgrade costs for habitats are always like that even the ones that cost gems. I always try to get the larger one, unless I really like the look of the smaller habitat.
Confirmation has come in from Discord that breeding Heavy Metal in the Vale will result a crash and being locked out of your game.

This dragon has got to be the most awesome of awesome things to ever grace the vale. I guess maybe he's so much awesomeness that it's too much for the vale to handle. Personally, I'm a metal head/goth girl, so yes this dragon is perfect for me. That's part of how I celebrate Halloween is by blasting music from my Halloween mashup collection, so Heavy Metal is everything I could ever want and then some.
Part of me wonders if using a wish on him would kill my game, but I'm too afraid to take the chance.
EDIT: Well apparently this dragon is not available if you go to your wishing well. I looked out of curiosity, and while the new Melody icon is there the dragon is not. So wishing for him won't work.
New dragons from an ongoing event are allways excluded in the wishing well. As soon as the event ends you'll be able to wish for the new dragon. At least it has allways been like this up to now.
On another note: are you all sure that the end of DST in Germany will take effect (on those not living in Germany)? In the previous years the time in USA was the dominating factor. Are the servers now really located in Germany?

Thank you adlerist for the breeding hint and fabulous picture of Heavy Metal. It is so exciting that Deca have introduced a Melody element. I can't wait to see what other dragons they add to this category.
Well now I'm curious. This new Melody species makes me wonder if adding a bunch of dragons to a Melody habitat will result in some kind of song being played when you tap on the habitat. You know, with different dragons having a different instrument to play, one with a guitar and another with drums or a keyboard.
It's entirely possible, like when you collect Ornament dragons and they change the look of the habitat depending on which dragons you have. If not, I'd say DECA missed out on a wonderful opportunity. But maybe it could still be added in the future.
That would be an amazing feature if the Melody dragons changed the look of the habitat like the ornamental dragons.
