The only dragon left is the evolve dragon that was leaked a couple weeks ago. There could be a surprise extra limited dragon. I hope not, but Deca has added limiteds late during previous events.
It seems very late in the event to start collecting decos for evolving a dragon, doesn't it? I hope that's not happening and they return to the original breeding pair...
Things I would like to see: - The green campfire offered as a prize or available to buy. - Melody dragon Thriller, that of course does the Thriller dance (thank you to who ever first proposed this. It’s brilliant!) - Melody dragon Jazz, that does “jazz hands” - Melody dragon with early Beatles haircut that requires you to be growing Sarjen Peppers while breeding the dragon. But mostly the green mystical campfire - I really want that.

Totally sold on The Beatles and Sarjin Pepper concept — absolutely stellar! I’ll be extremely disappointed if this doesn’t become a reality. I have passed everyone’s dazzling ideas on to Deca. I’d love to see all this in the game!

They could have two forms - an evolved form and a bred form.

I really want the mystical green campfire too. I would also like the tombstones that are up there next to the green campfire. Those would be wonderful new additions to my Halloween island.

I have come to the conclusion that the Melody dragons are not able to be bred in all three of my Parks. I have had to buy them. Unfortunately, I forgot to get the Heavy Metal dragon in my second park. I don’t mind for my small park. That is used for coop purposes. I guess I will pray for 🐨 and have some “whine” and cheese. Lol. koala to everybody else though! Sending loads of 🐨 🐨 🐨.
Has anyone updated DragonVale to version 4.25.0? All it says is “bug-fixes”
I updated and the game seems to be running fine.
I believe this is the update for Dragon Draw. I’ve asked Deca for confirmation.
For those who play DV on iOS and Android, the latest iOS update retains the old icon,
while the Android version has a new icon
Perhaps Android has given up on Dragon Draw?

I feel rather bad complaining about one aspect of these stunning new Melody dragons, but with the others the traits made a real difference to the look of the dragons as the wing design was such a major difference. I have now stuffed six variously traited dragons into my Melody habitats, but the only difference between them is the colour of the scales on the ends of their tails. I hope they decide to upgrade the wing design some time in the future.

I have - only noticeable difference is that I crashed 4 times picking up from my park instead of the normal twice.
I am so sick of the constant crashing - I wish they would fix that!!!!
My iPad Gen 6 kept crashing even in low resolution until I invested $800.00 to but an iPad air 4. I will not buy another iPad just to play DV.
Oh my gosh, Yes!! Lol. The year before last, I bought a new iPad mini for $550, just to play DV. 🙄

I have a question about the rift habitats. Seems like we can only buy regular habitats using event currency and can't buy giant habitats at all. The regular habitats generate so little income they are hardly worth having, especially since island space is in such short supply. If I buy a regular habitat using event currency, can I then upgrade it to a giant habitat? And if so does it cost event currency or gems or dragoncash?
I know it is really ridiculous to complain about a gift, but I was really looking forward to getting new islands so I could take the habitats I had in storage out - it feels like a waste when I can't use them. Now I have my nice new islands - but also a raised habitat limit which allows me to get well over 100 new habitats with no possible place for them to go. My OCD need to maximise efficiency is causing me stress, but I don't want to have to get rid of all my decorations to fit more habitats in. It wouldn't be possible to use them all anyway.

I'm going to settle in the whine lounge because Techno hasn't visited my park yet. Maybe he's hesitant because I haven't placed the Melody habitat yet, and with no stage he thinks he can't perform his concert.
I'm obsessed with design and details, so I have to make sure everything is aesthetically pleasing or else I'll uproot everything on an island to make it look just right. Which is why I haven't set out the Melody habitat. Still trying to make everything match, the decorations, the colors, the synchronicity... But I promise I have a place for you, Techno! I even bought some dark chocolate so you can have your treats when you arrive. 🍫🍫🍫

It looks like the Pharoah pedestal is the best thing to spend extra candy currency on when the event ends. Buy for 180 candy and sell for 3,000,000 drsgoncash. That is 16,667 dragoncash per candy.
Deca have changed the purchase price for the Pharaoh pedestal. It now costs 551 candy to buy. It has dropped the rate of return significantly but it is still the best pedestal to buy. It will now give 5,445 dragon cash per candy.
I have amended the front page to reflect this change.

I have a couple of Large Rift habitats from last year in my park and they require Etherium to upgrade. I think if you buy a regular rift habitat with event currency, it will cost Etherium to upgrade.
The regular rift habitat costs 12,500 Etherium to upgrade it to a Large Rift Habitat. It holds 4 dragons and earns 10,000 dragon cash. The Large Rift Habitat costs 25,000 Etherium to upgrade it to a Giant Rift Habitat. It holds 6 dragons and earns 100,000 dragon cash.
They are a pretty habitat, but not very useful for DC gathering.
