It looks like the Pharoah pedestal is the best thing to spend extra candy currency on when the event ends. Buy for 180 candy and sell for 3,000,000 drsgoncash. That is 16,667 dragoncash per candy.
Deca have changed the purchase price for the Pharaoh pedestal. It now costs 551 candy to buy. It has dropped the rate of return significantly but it is still the best pedestal to buy. It will now give 5,445 dragon cash per candy.
I have amended the front page to reflect this change.
Oh boo... I'll just spend my remaining candy on extra Oculars for farm, so I never have to see another Forge, Electrum, Copper, Gold or Lodestone ever again. Maybe with a few Idens too.
Has anyone updated DragonVale to version 4.25.0? All it says is “bug-fixes”
I updated and the game seems to be running fine.
I believe this is the update for Dragon Draw. I’ve asked Deca for confirmation.
For those who play DV on iOS and Android, the latest iOS update retains the old icon,
while the Android version has a new icon
Perhaps Android has given up on Dragon Draw?
(No, I’m kidding.)
The latest DV update (version 4.25.0) is for Dragon Draw.
Currently, there are no visible changes to Dragon Draw in the game, that won’t occur until it’s released, which hasn’t been announced.

Due to a potential limit on the number of friends a player can have before issues arise in the game, I will only be able to add Forum members. Thank you, for your understanding, and please consider joining us!

Ah, they’re on to us! We’ll never have another large Treasure habitat DC fest again.

Bummer...I guess we might also see a pedestal limit in the future. 🙄
Hahaha. I gave up on traited Spookies and decided to switch to trying for a Second traited Scout and then reclaiming traited Love. But neither ever want to show up.🥺
I think my koalas finally gave up on me. I’ll go on a final depressing Mystery Egg binge soon if the second traited Scout still resists.

When the Pharaoh dragon was included in the Spectacular Spectacle earlier in the year it was only 1800 event currency - which is the same amount that it started in this event. But, during the Candy Bash events the Pharaoh dragon has always been around the 5000-6000 event currency to purchase.
I don't think that we'll see a pedestal limit, but I think that Deca are becoming more aware of the dragon/pedestal price during events and their sell price. We have had some amazing returns on pedestals (and treasure habitats) in some recent events.

Are you trying for your rifted Scout with Scout + Valor? That is how I eventually got another one. It did take quite a few tries, but it was much quicker than the original breeding combo to get the first one.

A reminder that Techno will leave and join Heavy Metal and Punk in their newly formed band at the next reset. Breed or buy your Techno dragon and/or pedestal now so that you don't miss out.

YES. Scout won't clone itself.
Well, it finally did after trying for so long. Light trait coat too.

Yeah I was just kidding about the pedestal limit. 😉 I just think it is not good policy to change the prices near the end of the event. They could have let it be and change it for future events. If we were not given a low amount of dragoncash and instead got a good amount of treats like we used to we would not even need to seek out other means for making more with our excess.
The music fest has evolved in the darkness of night and is now a slumber party camp out. But as Hallowe’en comes near, some of the campers have turn into the dark and are now the looming shadow of who they once were. Campers gasp, as UMBRA eclipses Scout.
Nice Spider-Man wings!
Breeding hint: UMBRA can only be summoned with the ten Tent decorations and the SCOUT dragon.
Cloning percentages:
Umbra + Umbra at the Epic and Enchanted locations = 30% Umbra + Umbra at the Rift = 30% Umbra + Umbra at the Cooperative = 20%
Breeding/incubation time: 30 hours
Status: Limited tier, 10 days
Hidden elements: Umbra contributes cold, earth, dark
Habitat: Hidden
UMBRA TIPS
Since Umbra is an evolve dragon, here’s some tips to help you evolve and clone Umbra.
• You can purchase Umbra or buy its evolve decorations in the Limited tier of the event market. Umbra’s decorations have NOT been added to the mini-games (and they’re not in the guaranteed chests).
• It will cost a total of 8,000 Candy to evolve Umbra, if you own Scout. 7,000 to purchase the decorations and 1,000 to summon / evolve.
• You cannot clone Umbra with one Umbra as a parent. BOTH parents must be Umbra to result in an Umbra offspring.
• To obtain an Umbra pedestal, you can either buy it from the event market, or breed two Umbra dragons and select the pedestal option.
• When you’re evolving a traited Umbra, be sure Scout is set to the trait you want Umbra to acquire. Umbra will only retain that trait, not the additional traits you have unlocked for Scout.
• If you collect pedestals and traited pedestals, you’ll need to evolve at least 2 traited Umbra dragons. Breed them together in the Rift, after acquiring the traited pedestal, transport them to the Vale and breed for the regular pedestal.
• I will have a level 20 Scout in the co-op for a couple days to help players who need another Scout or twin Scout. Then I’ll switch to Umbra.

This issue was discussed with the Game Reps and Deca early yesterday morning. It was highly recommended that the Pharaoh dragon and pedestal prices be reverted. Deca did that today.
PSA: Pharaoh and its pedestal have been restored to its original price of 1800 and 180.
Cheers, Deca Games!
I’ll update the first page (again) 😄

Also, the Love dragon and Love pedestal prices were reduced (not sure why). Love dragon was 1650, now 1140. Love pedestal was 165, now 114.

In the rift we still need 2 rifted umbras to make another rift umbra? We cannot take 1 rift umbra + any other rift dragon (not an umbra) to make our 2nd rift umbra, correct? 🤔 Thanks! 😃👍🏻

Evolved dragons can not be cloned. You will need two rifts to get another rift umbra or rift umbra pedestal. Always evolve two rifts if possible to get the rest.
You can also get extras by using a friend’s umbra and your umbra in the coop cave.

This is amazing news! Even tho I might not participate in Dragon Draw since I won’t need the dragons, I’m really happy to see they’ve been working on it and it’ll be released soon. It’ll help a lot of other players and DECA will have completed their new addition to the game!
