I think the Generators are reasonably priced. Considering what they do and there’s no limit. I thought they were going to be 500 gems, so 120 is a steal to me. 😄

Alas, I am 2B short of the last coin island and I smashed through a bunch of greens during twin weekend so I can’t justify getting any of the green islands at the moment…

However, those generators look cool and I can afford a few of them for a fraction of a new island! Time to do some thinking 🤔

One question though - people who were already max level, have you made any progress at all towards 175? I've been max for a while now, and I do still get XP pop ups, but I'm still at level 170 with no progress at all towards 175.
From comments I've read I've gotten confused whether it's auto max level or just XP in the background, but the consensus does seem to be that once the max level is increased, anyone who was the previous max for a while will increase in level at least somewhat, and I haven't at all, so I was wondering if this was a bug?

If you have 50 gems spare, 50 gems get you 2B DC in the coin exchange at max level.

Nah I don’t swap gems for DC, not when gems are more limited! In fact, I try to be very frugal with my gems unless there’s tangible benefit towards my fire goals (like twin weekend). I’ve been behind on islands for a while, this is the first time I’ve been so close to catching up! I can keep saving and waiting until the next event

I've never been a fan of expensive things that are effectively just aesthetics. It gives a 2% boost to that element but I personally don't think that justifies over 100 gems for something that is just aesthetic. Newer players might really want them but 120 gems is just too much for people who don't have thousands of gems like longer-term players might. I was honestly expecting them to cost DC.

I'm not complaining at all, as I said I really like them. It was just an observation that they are expensive.

I've fed a lot of Rift dragons up to level 16 recently, and just fed two after the reset and almost got to level 171. If XP is stored in the background I definitely should have made some sort of progress by now, even if I'm not necessarily max. It's not the end of the world though cos clearly Rift dragons give a lot of XP when fed to higher levels, so it won't take too long to catch up.

There was a bug that forced some players (not all) to a higher level or the new max level whenever Deca added new park levels. We know this was a bug because it never occurred with Backflip, and it only affected some players. We discussed this earlier on this thread or the retired Tips thread. I’m not sure why others are stating that XP is saved so when a new level is created you’re supposed to automatically jump levels based on the amount saved.

Deca fixed the bug. Players at level 170 are now earning XP to reach the new level. If you’re not seeing any movement on the progress bar that means you haven’t earned enough XP. It takes a lot of XP to clear higher levels. Try feeding several dragons in the Rift to level 20. That will take you to the new park levels in no time.

I don’t think I’ve seen this mentioned - in the Market you can buy XP boosts foe gems that double your XP for a certain number of days. There are 3 choices.

It’s not a bug. The player who reported this has been corrected. The reps, who were all at level 170, have confirmed that they’re earning XP.

I’m trying to find the best breeding combos for the returning dragons, using the sandbox and checking bring ‘‘em back but all I get is “loading.” Any hints?

the Sandbox parent finder has been down for a couple days.

Hints are above in one of adlerist's posts. For combos that require elements, just try to meet the combos without adding unnecessary results. As far as possible, use permanent hybrids. If you have a particular combo you want help with, I (or others) can offer a suggestion, though effectively as long as you're not adding unnecessary results it's the best combo

I don't understand what is happening: I can't get any XP , neither growing treats, nor breeding dragons... nothing at all!
I reloaded my game twice, to unlock my XP counter. But no Xp at all.
