One question though - people who were already max level, have you made any progress at all towards 175? I've been max for a while now, and I do still get XP pop ups, but I'm still at level 170 with no progress at all towards 175. From comments I've read I've gotten confused whether it's auto max level or just XP in the background, but the consensus does seem to be that once the max level is increased, anyone who was the previous max for a while will increase in level at least somewhat, and I haven't at all, so I was wondering if this was a bug?

It seems like what you're experiencing is different to me - going by your other comment it looks like it's a bug (in my case, it was actually a bug being fixed).
I’m trying to find the best breeding combos for the returning dragons, using the sandbox and checking bring ‘‘em back but all I get is “loading.” Any hints?

I don't understand what is happening: I can't get any XP , neither growing treats, nor breeding dragons... nothing at all! I reloaded my game twice, to unlock my XP counter. But no Xp at all.
Have you won the colosseum or fed a dragon to level 20? Those are the two big earners, because the other things you mentioned do give XP but in quantities so small, you can't see the bar move

If you think you've got a dragon, go into one of the dragon sections of the change friend icon. The dragons are listed alphabetically. Icons appear as soon as you've bred the dragon (the only exception is if you aren't a high enough level to hatch it) so if you think you might have bred a dragon for the first time, you can see if its icon has appeared there. If it has, you bred it; if it hasn't, you bred a different dragon that can result from the same combo and has the same breeding time.

Are you referring to the animated XP that shows the amount of XP you received? I just collected some treats and the XP showed. It also appeared after I sold an egg, placed habitats, and fed some dragons. I’m definitely earning XP. I’m now at level 172 after feeding a dragon from 16-20 in the Rift.

ALLELUIA! To feed dragons, no xp, sell and buybagain decos , no xp. BUT elevate a dragon to level 20 it works! my counter works again!

Thanks a lot Ninjakiwi: I have to wait till tomorrow morning for the colosseum BUT feeding dragon to level 20 let me see the bar move. Which is weird is that before, when I was selling and buying something, I was able to see the green letters XP going to the bar. But here, no. I just saw these green letters when I fed my dragon! so I'm going to buy a lot of Sarjinn Pepper! All my dragons will have a big feast tonight!

Yes, Adlerist, that is the problem:neither the animated green letters nor the green bar. but as Ninjakiwi and Ney told me, I fed one dragon and now it works. Thanks a lot to you and the players on this forum: as soon as we write a problem here, we get the answer immediatly ! Despite the jet lag!

Anyone purchased the individual island weather machines? Curious to see what the effects look like.
I bought them. I was surprised by the 1x1 size for 120 gems. It should be placed in the center of the island for maximum effect, but it's so small and gets lost.

Wait, it doesn't affect the whole island? For that price I would hope it did...
If you're level 170 and have a fair number of treats, there's a quick and easy way to hit 175. I fed a rift dragon from 16 to 20 and went to 172, did a second and hit 174, and hit max level before the 3rd reached level 20. I normally don't want to rush my leveling experience, but when they tie it to an island expansion and want to get the latest island, I rush things.

Only select limited dragons are available through each Dragon’s Week. For this Dragon’s Week, the ones on this post have been released.
Vaul is the 11th anniversary dragon, so it should return during DragonVale’s anniversary in September. Spectrapod is part of the Paradise events, so it’ll be in the next event.

The generators have an hourglass but no timer. I'm guessing they'll only be lasting for the mini event, but that might not be immediately obvious to everyone (and might not even be correct, that's just me guessing). I was wondering if it would be possible for DECA to add a timer, so people know to get them now if they want them?

Can I breed the Solarflare in the rift? The in-game breeding hint stated that it must use a sun element and a galaxy element in the coop. So does that mean I will either have to buy a galaxy EOM in the rift or use the RBC to get one? Thank you! 🙏🙏

Solarflare can only be a result of breeding in the Co-Op cave. The only three galaxies that can be a result of breeding outside of Co-Op are Lunis, Solis and Rigel.
