I think there may be a typo with Sow’s description. It says eceded when I think it should be ...Into the Darkness receded.

So, did anyone else read the help section when it forced you into it in the tutorial?

In the how to earn spice tab it listed earning spice at the dragon track.

I think I have gotten 15 for first place and 10 for second place, but the game crashed after I got first, so I am not sure.

Just thought I would mention it since it doesn’t seem to be on the splash page of how to earn spice.

I found the best way cross-pollinate for new treats is to place your treat farms close to each other, with no spaces in between.
Then plant the required treats alternating, in a checker board pattern.

The rewards are 15 Spice for first place, 10 for second, and 5 for third place. Doubled on Double Days.

I’ll add it to the FP. It’s also in the FAQs linked on the FP in case anyone wants more info.

This is great for players that have the time since earning options are pretty slim this event.

And also you do not have to redo both treats. Keep the expensive/and or long timer one grown (do not collect for next go around) and just redo the cheapest/and or shorter time.

I didn't expect Deca Games to bring back Om of Noms, particularly because they are not an American company, but here we are. Guess they really wanted to get that "three-in-a-row" event train set in stone.

Anyway, I don't think this event is going to be all that engaging for me, but at least it's shorter than most other events! And hey, more treat farms! You can never go wrong with more treat farms!

PSA: don’t plant treats that take all day to grow


Harvesting Spice

During Country Roads, harvesting treats will earn you Spice, just like collecting from habitats. The daily limit is 250 on regular days and 500 on double days.


Dragon Track

As mentioned earlier, you can participate in races at the Dragon Track to earn additional Spice. The rewards are 15 for 1st place, 10 for 2nd, and 5 for 3rd (regular days).

Om of Noms was skipped last year because of a bug with Eggy Hatchy that resulted in a very, very late start for Camp DV. The year before that, Backflip had just closed and all their employees were laid off. So Om of Noms hasn’t exactly had the best timing.

Thanks for the great event thread as always adlerist. And ear-worms - who knew that there was a song about Mashed Potato?  And I love the video that goes with Sweet Potato - had to sit and watch it all - plus the National Safe the Bird video.  You must spend hours finding all these songs.

I know I’ve seen good guidance on cross pollination but I don’t know where! Anyone able to help a lost valer out? I tapped it before it became a thing

Anybody remember when:

1. Om of Noms was a mini event
2. We could grow Ro's dragon fruitcake

I still miss those fruitcakes. They were so cute and lovely. Though I'm glad this became a regular event instead of a mini event, because I remember how difficult it was in the beginning, back when you only had one week to get the dragons you wanted.
