It seems really difficult to get spices from harvesting treats... Anyone else facing this too? I would plant the 30-second ones repeatedly and maybe only get 3-4 each time...?

I tried this as well. It seems to not give as many when you plant the same thing. I tried to change it up and planted different slow timers and I got a lot more doing that. I think it is akin to trying to get habitat money from habitats. It only gives it out ever so often. So try planting some slow timers each time you visit. I did the zazzberries, figs, meta, and jelly plants at different visits.

the October before covid hit everywhere, I drove up to the blue ridge mountains in SC/TN to see the fall colors. Beautiful video you posted, reminded me of that county road drive. ☺️🍂🍁

During Country Roads, harvesting treats will earn you Spice, just like collecting from habitats. The daily limit is 250 on regular days and 500 on double days.
Dragon Track
As mentioned earlier, you can participate in races at the Dragon Track to earn additional Spice. The rewards are 15 for 1st place, 10 for 2nd, and 5 for 3rd (regular days).

250 spice per day and 500 on doubles to harvest food is A LOT!! This will make a BIG difference like whether you’ll be able to buy a couple dragons or not.
Out of all the new dragons, Razortail was the hardest for me to get. So if you need to buy one... It took a lot of breeds and gems to get. I will have it up for awhile.
I used Ghostly Plant to get it finally. Sorry to my friend that I bombarded your game with no good twins trying to get. 😳

Maybe I am wrong, but I can’t remember being able to collect event currency from farming since way back in the old days when we had a set amount to collect from the different areas each day. Back then, it was the 6 hour Pumpermelons that gave currency to each planting, every time. So, I didn’t even try any other planting and went straight for those.
I’ve planted/collected twice from my pumpermelon patch and both times I got currency from all ten farms. This works best for me ‘cause I only have a chance to visit my vale 2 or 3 times a day.

It was a shock to my eyes, I was use to the dark theme 😄 I like dark themes, but this one is really refreshing so I’ll definitely keep it for a while. I see that the Halloween theme is listed for us to pick. Thanks for adding it!

But Razortail will become permanent so I wouldn’t recommend buying it.
It’s cooperative percentages are the same as the others so you probably just had bad luck with it. There’s always one dragon that’s the most difficult! 🙂

I always grow Jelly Plant. Even though I can’t visit my park every hour, it has one of the best DC to crop ratios. And I am earning Spice from it.
