Have DECA changed the monolith egg of mystery? I just sold my twin rift monolith 5 & 6 in order to claim normal twin versions from RBC and day 36 reward. My plan was to go to rift and buy monolith eggs of mystery to get the rift twins back, as these are always cheap and caps at a low prize. But after one purchase where the egg was 7,5k it has now gone up to 15k! I am positive that they did not work like this before!

These and the Chrysalis fly up in price very quickly.

Yes, the price for the Monolith Egg of Mystery is higher. It’s now the same price as the Chrysalis Egg of Mystery. I asked Deca about this when the eggs were added to the Rift Market for this event. Deca said they did not intentionally raise the price, so I’m not sure what happened that caused the change, or if this will be the new price.
The good news is you only need to buy two Monolith mystery eggs to breed the rest of the collection.

Problem is i have all of the monolith, normal, twin, and rift, only need 2 twin rift, which i just sold to get normal twins because I thought it was cheap to gamble to get them back, apparently not anymore, hope the price will return to normal! Otherwise I would not have sold my rift twins and just waited to twin them normally 🥲

Does anyone have a list of or know the dragons that haven’t come back via events (and so would be better to claim via the runics)? I feel like this is the anniversary / milestone dragons, but any more come to mind? Not including the gemstone/ crystalline stains, or any others that come back regularly

I think that Deca have been trying to tie all the dragons into an event so that they will make regular appearances. Faire and Sunstruck are two that have been included in events now that never used to be.
The milestone dragons and anniversary dragons don't get tied to an event as you said, the only other ones I can think of are Trimera and Cerberus - they don't appear very often. Oh and Thicket - he has been omitted out of the last couple of Halloween events.
There are bound to be others, but they are the ones that came to mind straight away.

Oh no, sorry to hear about that! You could ask Deca if they can restore the Monolith traited-twins you sold. I don’t know what their policy is on this, but it might be worth asking.

In addition, the following dragons are not always associated with an event and either rely on an independent limited release, holiday, or Dragon’s Week (formally BEB). I did not add the anniversary and milestone dragons. Some of these dragons have occasionally been incorporated into events.
Epoch Neoteric Party Panlong Seed Blue Moon Solar Eclipse Lunar Eclipse Carnival Clover Celtic Victory Delirium Shield Thicket (has not been in the game since 2018, but the reps will be sure it’s in the Hallowe’en 2022 event!) Hooded Sprout Butterfly Bouquet Bearded Vipera Elysium Osteryx Spectrapod Gryphus Pouke Soriak Magnolia Kite Firework Liberty Leaf Tidal Loot Muse Portent Whimsical Berry Fireflight Dartwing
Panlong and Pouke were added late to this event by players’ requests. I don’t know if they’ll be a part of the spring event in the future, but it makes sense if they were. Other dragons like Magnolia and Spectrapod haven’t been released in over a year. Lunar and Solar Eclipse haven’t made an appearance in almost 2 years, but recently I’ve requested they be released when there is a lunar and solar eclipse (there will be two of each this year) and Deca has agreed to do this.

Always possible to ask, seems like cheating though I guess they will come eventually via eggs 🥚 thx for the help though

Thank you, this was very helpful and exactly what I was looking for - I ended up claiming Rifteds: Tidal, Loot, Hyperion, and Bicentennial, along with a couple I don’t exactly remember during the event - possibly Rifted Kroki and something else to help with breeding the limiteds. I have one claim left and I’m tossing up what to do with it, but it’ll likely be one from your list!

PSA: PURCHASE THOSE RUNESTONES AND ACTIVATE THE RUNIC BREEDING CAVES!
There’s one week left in the event, so if you’re planning on purchasing Runestones, now is the time. And if you have any Runestones left, use them now so the Runic Breeding Cave(s) will be available for the full seven days.
Also, Niamh’s Rate a Dragon thread will be released on Wednesday, 20 April, instead of Friday, so players will have a week to rate Niamh (and the rest of the dragons).
Question: This was posted on the 18th, and says one week left, so that should mean we have up to reset on the 25th. If I’m not cracking up, I also swear the in-game announcement said the same thing; however, I just noticed a timer countdown on the Runic caves indicating just over 14 hours left on the egg history. Does that mean we only have until reset tomorrow to claim our dragons?

The timer is for the expiration of the Runic Cave. You won’t be able to use it for breeding anymore, but you’ll still be able to claim an egg from an expired cave. You have until April 25th at 8.00 AM MDT to claim all your Runic Breeding Cave eggs.

Deca Support came through for me! I was using my alt game to breed a Niemh with my main game’s Niemh, and I got a twin! Yay! But the twin never came through to my main game. SAD! I submitted a support ticket and after a bit of back and forth because I didn’t remember what the Friend ID was, they put the twin egg in my main game! It was super-quick too, I submitted it Thursday evening and it was in my game before the end of day (US Eastern time) on Friday, even with the additional clarifying email. Deca is doing a great job with this game we love.
While considering what to spends my left over eggs on, I was going to buy chests and keep the extra pieces to sell in next year’s event. However I found that the Lucky Lawn costs the same as the chests but sells for 1500 eggs. Much better to keep and sell next Easter event. Any thoughts on Deca reducing the amount of eggs for selling the Lucky Lawn next year (or not giving eggs at all for selling next year)?

I don’t think Deca knows the selling price for the Lucky Lawn next spring, since they typically don’t plan that far in advance. I do know there were a lot of complaints about the decoration’s price and size. Also, I believe the selling price for the Lucky Lawn should be 1500 DC. It appears the 1500 Egg amount is a mistake. Based on all this, I think there’s a chance the Lucky Lawn may cost less, sell for less, and sell for DC next year. But it could remain the same, since Deca has been in the habit of retaining the prices for new decorations and using them again a year later.
I think it’d be a better strategy to buy the Lucky Lawn for DC during Decorator Week, then if Deca maintains the price structure, you can sell them for event currency during next year’s spring event. This way, if they don’t change the Lucky Lawn, you’re essentially receiving a lot of Eggs for a small amount of DC. And if they do correct the Lucky Lawn so it sells for DC, you’re not out any Eggs from this event.

🐲 24 HOURS TO SELL ALL YOUR DUPLICATE / UNWANTED MONOLITH AND MINCHI EVOLVE DECORATIONS FOR EVENT CURRENCY (actually, you may be able to do this over the next couple days, but why take the chance?)
(This message should read, 'Be sure to redeem the eggs from the Runic Breeding Caves by 8.00 AM MDT tomorrow!' Or by Monday, April 25th at 8.00 AM MDT.)
If you have any questions about the Runic Breeding Caves or how to claim eggs, please check this post on the first page. Please let me know if the information you need isn’t there, and I will add it. Thank you so much!
After the next reset, you will have two days to shop at the Burcadian Bazaar, submit your ratings on the Rate a Dragon threads, and vote for the Top Luck of the Vale dragons.

That is definitely good advice, adlerist . Waiting until Decorator Week to purchase Lucky Lawn in bulk. That's what I did with the purple crocus flowers. I'll admit I had to laugh when I saw them brought back as a prize for this event, and it said I already own 72 of them. 😄
Because yeah, apparently I really like the color purple and collecting purple flowers. I have an island that's full of them because I bought a bunch of crocuses during Decorator Week. And then from there they just multiplied in thick clusters all over the other islands too. And still I'm thinking that I don't have enough of them.
