ooo….he looks very Seuss-like. Is he related to the Grinch?…..hehehe
I believe they’re first cousins once removed!
I am now awaiting the Sneetches and the Cat in a Hat dragons…

According to the oddness of family trees, 'first cousin once removed' refers to your grandparent's sibling's child (or great aunt/uncle's child). I partly know this because I have quite a few of them.
Assuming that the Grinch is the first cousin once removed of the Greench dragon, would that mean that they share the same great/grandparents? I would see the family tree as follows:
-Grinch's great grandparents; Greench's grandparents- | | | | Grinch's grandmother -----------Grinch's grandfather Greench's mother-------Greench's father | (Grinch's great aunt) | | | Grinch's Dad -------------- Grinch's Mom Greench Dragon | | The Grinch
It could be the other way around too, but could that mean that hypothetically, the Grinch emigrated from the vale, or Greench came here from Whoville?

Um... don't you mean Kotun in the Hat?
Oh, that’s a terrific point! 🐈⬛
I am ready for CatVale.

Whoville is in a different timeline. It’s a separate entity from the Vale. Perhaps a select few can cross dimensions, but The Whos will not be seen roaming in the Vale. Whos and Valers can take inspiration from each other, but they will never interact.

Soooo... I genuinely thought you'd edited a Grinch face onto the dragon... Turns out you hadn't and it's actually an in-game thing...
Honestly not sure how I feel about that. It's creepy. I can see why some people would find it funny but I just find it unsettling. It would appear this dragon will be going straight in the Hibernation Cave as soon as I get it...

If you aren't fond of Greench's adult form, then why not fountain of youth it? I only put dragons in the hibernation caves if there is no habitat room left, or for extra Rift dragons.
Besides that, I feel like I have had to put about 50% of the recent dragons to the fountain for one reason or another. Vampir and Canna I put in there since their adult forms were ugly in my opinion, and Mesmer will be the same once I obtain it. Then, I have used the fountain to change Rotblossom, Maze, Fomhar, Bushwhack, and numerous other dragons purely to make them smaller, as they are SO BIG I CANNOT SEE MY OTHER DRAGONS.
Ironically, the only other reason I put dragons in the fountain of youth is if their baby forms are MASSIVE, as it is hilarious to see huge baby dragons. There's a reason I have a level 20 baby gold and silver dragon.

Ah, I'd forgotten about the fountain! I used it occasionally years and years ago (like, probably some time in 2015/2016, when I was first playing the game) but it always annoyed me that it took half a day just to change a dragon's appearance so I never used it. That might be an idea, thanks for the suggestion!

OK, so I wasn’t able to breed a Nature dragon. I didn’t want to use Treats to buy one. I waited til after the Nature expired and tried to get one with a wish, as I have done in the past, but when I tried to buy one with a WISH, the Nature WAS NOT available that way… WHY?

It's because the new dragons (everfrost, igluit, sugarmitten, asia, elkar, nature, and greenge) aren't avaible in the wish market until after the event concludes. If you do want to use a wish on nature, you will have to wait until the event market closes in 13 days.
However, since the nature dragon has a co-op clone percent of 10%, I would recommend trying to use the co-operative breeding cave to get it rather than using a wish, especially with the rumors going around about a new gargantuan island. And if you think that would work better, I would be more than happy to share it with you for co-op if you would like.
'Zumi, have I told you about the winter that lasted all year? It snowed and snowed, and never stopped long enough to melt'. Zumi looked at Lumi with great interest, 'Do you think it will snow forever this year?' Lumi opened the window, 'We can check. If GREENGE is atop the Everlong Hill, snow will cease and allow the green of tomorrow and the heat of cactus in the air'. Lumi and Zumi leaned out the window with a telescope to their eye. Through the windy snow, a green figure, angry at the cold, was fiercely looming on the hill. Lumi and Zumi gasped and fell down. Greenge was staring right back at them.
By the prickly-pear of my thumbs, the Greenge this way comes! Greenge is in the co-op; koala cactus to all!

Thank you for that answer… I coulda swore that I used a WISH to get an Event dragon before the Event closed 🤷🏼♂️ Oh well…
And thank you for your offer but I have a friend w/a Nature which I will try.

You can wish for returning event dragons while the event is going on, just not the new releases.
