Greenge is a tough little dude to twin - or even clone. I've been trying between my two parks, and also using your Greenge for variety, but can't get the correct time.

Has anybody claimed dragons from the runic caves? I did yesterday, I claimed six and only got two. It seems that I only got the dragons I claimed from the two caves that are active right now.
I have claimed all my claims from the runic caves and received them all. They do have different names so don't up together in the Social Menu. The bonus cave claims are called 'Bonus Reward Egg' (or something similar) whereas the other claims are called 'Runic Cave/Egg Claim (or similar).

I have been trying to breed a traited Jamjam all week with no luck.
I have one claim left in a Runic Cave but I can't decide whether to claim a traited Jamjam or a traited Igluit. The winter dragons can still be bred for a couple of days, but the caves go at the next reset. Do I claim an Igluit and hope I can breed a Jamjam or do I claim a Jamjam as he is obviously impossible to breed? 😂

Talk about stupid… when this last Dragon, the Greenge, was introduced and the breeding combo combination, Burglehoo & Yule, announced I got right to work breeding them in the Rift. All week long, up to 40K Rift$ a day and no luck. Last night I discovered my stupidity. I had been using a Dazzling Dragon which was named by DECA, YULE! 🙄🙄😩😩😡😡. Total carelessness in my rush to get going and a waste of a half a million Rift$.

Deca have been pretty good with not using previously released dragons in breeding combos, so I wouldn't expect to see Igluit in a breeding combo next Winter. (Unless it gets released before then)
BUT, I did take Igluit. I tried a few more breeds in the rift and got a traited Jamjam on my last breed! Very last minute. 😄

It appears the Display Realm idea that was suggested and supported on the Dear Deca thread has somewhat come true in the form of the Megatat!
I don’t know if decorations can be placed on it, but dragons can certainly reside there, so that should help alleviate some of the dragon display issues that players repeatedly complain about.

There could also be another dimension for a different park like how the Rift is different from the vale. It would be another new park we can get habitats for and it’s connected to the vale and rift and we can put vale and Rift dragons in it. It could be simple no breeding caves it’s just used to decorate and keep dragons. That would get your dragons out so you can display them all.
Ooo I like that idea; kinda like turning your horses out to pasture 😄 that would def interest me, and I’d happily spend on decos and islands for the ‘display only’ realm !
Count me in on the idea of having a “display only” realm. Decorating my park is what drew me to the game to start with & is still my favorite park of the game. As the game has gotten more complex, I find it more frustrating & I already have enough frustration in my RL. In fact as I think about it, I Ike the idea more & more.
Me too! I am actually so thankful for this break that I can take time to do some cleaning up. I don’t like to crowd everything on an island, so I don’t have my max number of habitats. The thing is, once I have decorated an island, they come up with new dragons, and I have to think of how to accommodate them, which ended up having to redecorate again. Yes, I have a little OCD. 😬 So yes, I vote for a “display realm”!

This makes me super happy! I have enough cash saved up for six additional islands, plus I'll have some time to get the last few non-limited epics I still need in the rift. Not much is worse than this on your last attempt for the day.

For those of you interested in knowing how traits look on the dragons, at the Runic Breeding Caves, I claimed the traited-twin versions of the new unbreedable dragons from the last three events.
Frostivale Yulebration
Everfrost with a dark trait
Igluit with a fire trait
Sugarmitten with a lightning trait
Garden Noms
Bushwhack with a metal trait
Fomhar with a plant trait
Maze with a dark trait
Whitbee’s Candy Bash IX: XI Hsab Ydnac S’eebtihw
Dortal with a fire trait (baby version, because you can’t see the trait inside the ribcage on the adult, unless Dortal is on his hind legs or jumping)

I strongly suspect the new islands will both cost gems. A good use of wishes!
The new islands are way too large and way to special for DC. If the Gargantuan costs gems, there’s no way the Colossal and Megatat won’t cost gems.
Oh, the Colossal for sure, as sure as anything can be in this game. The Megatat, I'm not sure how much it'll cost. A supposed early unlock for new players? A few hundred gems? A thousand and over...?
Depending on what gems are worth to them, some people might not want to use their wishes.
For example, as of now, the Megatat looks like a bunch of floating rock. Buy in to summon, upgradeable? Always available?
Depending on how it works, it may well cost treasure to summon a tiny chunk... and many, many, /many/ gems to max out.
