Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on January 25th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.
Please take a minute to rate the Frostivale Yulebration dragons from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your feedback on this thread or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your thoughts, and making this game even better with each dragon.

1/5 Even as limiteds go this is very expensive, plus it was a massive jump from Elkar. I realise it's probably because of the triple day but there was only one, and nearly 6000 EC is still a huge jump. I probably wouldn't have got more than 2000 extra EC from the triple day, if that, and I play fairly regularly throughout the day. For newer players or people who don't play as regularly, this price wasn't particularly fair in my opinion.

Animation: 5/5 Love the little ball of yarn! Rift Trait: 1/5 Where is it? Is it even there? (Yes, I can see it but barely) Size: 5/5 Overall the size is a *teeny* bit too big, but at the same time, you wouldn't see the detail if it were smaller. Price: 1/5 The massive jump up in price was unexpected, and equally unpleasant. Elkar's price was a relieving 12,000 Iceberries, but when I saw Kotun's hefty price tag at 17,600 berries, I nearly threw up (figuratively). It's one thing jumping by 1,000, but A 5,600 PRICE JUMP? And I'm lucky if I can get 15,000 event currency per week. Theme: 4/5 Overall, when I look at cats, I don't really think of winter. Now I do think it has similarities to Smilodon (sabre-tooth tiger), so I'll give it +1 point back for that. Design: 4/5 The only thing I don't like all that much is the split tail. One would be purr-fectly fine (get it?). Combo: 1/5 I know that I have said this a lot, but I REALLY DISLIKE evolution breeding combos. Even if you can buy them in the market, it just creates a burden on players, especially those who don't have one. That, and I don't really understand how a raven plus a fox equals a cat. Especially when considering that foxes are much more closely related to dogs than cats.
Preference: 5/5 Despite my ranting about its breeding combo, trait and price, I would have to admit that I LOVE this dragon. It's one of the best I've ever seen and reminds me of the dragon I created a few months back. Though I'd still say singularity, abraxas, and lullaby are better than this one, it's still in the top 10.
Comment: Look at him just chilling with my other favorite dragons (all four of them are level 20). It's ironic that I put it with the three dragons I previously mentioned:

4. Price: 1, A 5600 currency price jump from the fairly-priced Elkar dragon is just unacceptable, especially compared to the more fair price scaling of last Christmas Event's dragons. Surprised me in all of the worst ways possible.
5. Relevance to event: 3, Not sure what a mischevious cat has exactly to do with winter and Christmas.
6. Overall Design: 5, this is easily my favorite-looking dragon introduced to this event. Very sleek and black fits its personality purrfectly, while still looking like an actual dragon (Not mentioning any names, Lyuba and Neyvee)
7. Breeding Combo (Lokilure + Ketu): 4, having the combo be two dragons based off of animal symbols of mischief makes enough sense, but using an evolution dragon like Lokilure is still annoying despite it being cheaper. In contrast, Ketu is very straightforward to breed.
8. Overall Rating: 4/5, Excellent design held back by shockingly high price.
Comments: overall one of my favorite dragons, very cute and playful. Does not fit Christmas / Winter theme. This is not an epic dragon, so pricing and breeding combo were unnecessary.

Comments / feedback for Deca : I love Kotun and its playful cat animation. It looks like a mermaid swimming when it is flying. Not sure that Kotun fits the theme of the event apart from the reference to Icebrand in its description – snacking on naughty children can happen any time of the year. Expensive! Another dragon requiring an evolve dragon. Evolve dragons are difficult to get in the rift unless you have all the decorations needed to evolve the base dragon.

8. How much do you like Kotun (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) - 3 - pretty & seems cat-like, moves well, lovely dark look but somehow not outstanding or remarkable to me.
