That’s a lovely thought, Glolca! But unfortunately, the Rate a Dragon awards are typically associated with the event. Players outside the Forum from Discord and FB are invited to rate the dragons, and they wouldn’t understand the symbolism.

The mini profile is getting very crowded, so I can’t add another section for different awards. Pretty soon, I’ll need to collapse / hide the RAD awards so they’re visible by clicking on the RAD Awards text.

But I love the idea of players changing their avatar, and encourage members to do this if they’d like to remember Fletch on their mini profile.

My heart goes out to Fletch's family and those who were close to him. I never knew him well, but he always seemed like a genuinely kind, respectful, funny, and caring person. He will be sorely missed. ❤️

I saw this topic a while back and have been carefully thinking about what I'd like to add here.

For starters, I have fond memories of Fletch being helpful, kind and humorous during the brief time that I was fortunate enough to know him on the forum. I wasn't around in the beginning so I didn't know him as well as the rest of you. But the one thing I remember most is that he helped make koalas a thing in our community.

I remember the first time I came to this forum, some five or six years ago, and saw everyone using the term koala. I didn't know why the people here kept saying that, so I did some digging and discovered this post.

It's true. Tommy was asking Fletch for some authentic Australian words of encouragement in the Admin thread that we westerners might not know. I can't imagine what the saying would be. Maybe "give it the gud'ol Koala, eh mate!" or something like that.

Sending condolences and much love to his friends and family. Fletch was a treasure, far more valuable than all the gems one could hoard in DragonVale.
Rest in peace, dear friend. You have all the little angel koalas to carry you home.
