Don’t collect your last rift breed until the next day in case the next day is doubles day, unless it is already a doubles day. Also try to stop your last breed on a higher earning dragon, like rainbow, than on something low like flower or rift only. Sometimes that means stopping early (like 5k if you were going to 10 k) or breeding once more past where you were going to stop.
If it is already a doubles day, breed as much as you can tolerate in the rift, it is a great source of EC.

In a similar vein, don't sell eggs in your nursery until double days. If you have to, work out which one takes the least time incubating (so gives the least EC) since it's best to save the high-EC-earners for double days.
In the loading screen, the windows are bright as if it's light outside, but Ege/Brutiful is in its night form. Maybe the light in the windows is actually a reflection of the lights from inside? 😂

I keep trying to check this out but lately my loading screen has just been the one from the Expansion Event. I shouldn’t complain, though, because I really like that one!

I know right? The Megatat's really pretty! My loading screen's been changing between Valentine's and Megatat for the whole event 😂

And I bred him in record time! Got them on try #4, 17 minutes into being released (actually less since it took a while to show up). Admittedly I spent some gems on speeding up breeding, because I’m sick today, so I said, “Screw it!”

So the two people/dragons *are* one... They just can't be reunited properly
It's so sad but I do really like the dragon. Plus I saw the purple-y dragon on the in-game notification and it looks so cool! (I assume that's the night version.)
I guessed dark colours for the Cupido + Scorn dragon, so I was *half* right! And I inadvertently guessed Lovesick's name right, albeit I got the combo wrong 😂

Though I do really like the fact that the day version has a little dark glow and the night version has a little light glow. They might not be able to be with each other now, but they're still together sort of.
That sounds like it might be it! Element and name matches, plus it doesn't look like that quest's yet on the wiki page.
