The Eggy Hatchy tower is not paying out less. Last week, if you completed it, you received a total 900 Roses. This week, you’ll receive 950 Roses. And this is the same amount as last year. I’m not sure how you’re receiving less Roses.
I could swear last week I got 50 roses per level and a 500 completion bonus for a total of 1000. I only got 45 roses for level 1 and assumed the completion bonus was only 450. I went and checked after your reply and the completion bonus is still 500. I would still swear I got 50 a level last week. I’m totally willing to admit that I’m wrong about the level payout 🤦🏻♀️. I sure hope you get some sort of compensation for putting up with all of us.
Eggy is paying out 50 roses again per level in the last tower with a bonus of 500 for completion. Last weeks tower was 45 as adlerist stated. Glad it’s back to 50!

I believe it's been increasing by 5 every week. So 50 this week, 45 last week and so on.
Gardenia was comforting Scorn, 'Not all love is meant to be. But that’s because love is not perfect. Sometimes you love only one, sometimes you love no-one. But there is always LOVONONE so you are never alone'. Lovonone emerged with a stream of light from the breaking day. She emanated the warmth of the new sun, reached out to Scorn, and offered him a rose. For the first time, Scorn smiled.
Lovonone is in the co-op pulling the petals off a rose one by one, 'loves me, loves me not, loves me, loves me not, loves me…' Koala love to all!
Breeding percentages: breeding hint 2.9%; co-op clone 1%
Cloning dragons:
Elders • plant, fire, earth, cold, lightning
Hybrids • Poison, Cactus, Flower
Lovonone is an awesome looking dragon and I love that it has a day and night form. It is always a bit more interesting if the dragons change from day to night. But what a sad story!
My park is scorning me with two caves blocked with a Scorn dragon!

Yes, as @metaphoricalrobin stated, the weekly Eggy Tower is worth more each week. Here are the amounts if you completed all the levels and received the bonus:
first week = 900 Roses (40 per level) second week = 950 Roses (45 per level) third week = 1000 Roses (50 per level)
It’s the same amount as last year. If the weekly Eggy tower continues on the path of the previous year, there may be a jump to 1100 Roses (60 per level) next week.

Ooh, nice! That'd be great if it was!
In the events Eggy Hatchy has been a mini game previously, has it always/usually been the case that the weekly tower's EC per completed individual stage increased every week, or is this unique to the Valentine's event or something?

Eggy Hatchy had dramatic transformations in its early years, when it was brand new. But it’s been relatively the same for the last year or so. The current Eggy totals are similar to the Halloween event, when Eggy Hatchy last appeared. I just compare the amounts with the previous Valentine’s event, because Deca tends to make adjustments based on the market, so a completely different market could result in the towers paying out differently.

And now for something completely different. Most Deca designed dragons are at least good and occasionally transcendent (think Lightmare), but I hate the design of the Classical dragon. This poor unfortunate dragon looks like it has impaled itself on a broomstick and is desperately hopping around trying to get off. The design is more Medieval than Classical. The Classical dragon does not carry itself with “grace and confidence” and is anything but “calm” as portrayed on its Description card. The Serenity dragon is calm. What are the concentric circles that emanate from the dragon supposed to represent? There is NOTHING to indicate this is a musical dragon. It’s all kind of disgusting. My two roses.

I absolutely love the colour scheme, but it's definitely one of my lesser-liked ones from this event. While it's pretty, I don't really get the skirt-like thing of its lower body - is it its actual body? If so that seems quite strange, since it feels utterly unnatural that a creature would have a body like that. And if not... what exactly is it? 😂 It also seems quite mechanical, which is ironic considering its name.
Though I haven't got the dragon yet so haven't read its description or seen its animation, so perhaps that would end up changing my opinion? 🤷♀️ And I do still think it's one of my favourite Melody dragons.

I've also felt like the levels have been more difficult every week for the weekly towers. I've only gotten through the first two levels, though I remember that the first required a level 5 fire when there weren't any primary eggs on the board, not many fire eggs in general, then the other level requires 4 level 5 eggs, which is hard when you only have a single starting twin for points.
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.

I was actually the opposite! I managed to finish the daily stages and all the weekly tower yesterday in my main park, and I'll have finished it in at least two of my smaller parks by the next reset. Whereas the first week's tower took me pretty much till the end of the week. That said, there is a level (either 2, 3 or 4) that I've found really difficult on this week's tower - they get quite a bit easier after that in my experience. It really is all down to luck though.

I believe the reason why you don’t like Classical is because you have high standards for a classical dragon due to your classical music background. That’s certainly understandable.
But other players who don’t have this connection, may not object or feel as strongly about the design.
Also, it’s kind of unfair to compare any dragon to Lightmare — the most stunning of them all. Everything will pale in comparison. BTW, Lightmare was designed by hawk.

Deca did not make any changes to Eggy Hatchy. So if the boards seem more difficult, it’s just bad RNG luck.

Update: I managed to finish the weekly tower in all 6 of my parks before the second reset of the week! Related - I think I like Eggy Hatchy a bit too much. Hey, it's fun!
Also, I only need about 2 million more treats until I can level up all 15 primaries to elder stage, so at the reset I will be ready! I'm currently at 383 million, it will be sad to see it all go in one fell swoop 😂😭

I had to skip a Co-Op breed to feed my Light dragon to elder, and the first time I tried afterwards, I got Pricklefluff!! 😁
