I was actually the opposite! I managed to finish the daily stages and all the weekly tower yesterday in my main park, and I'll have finished it in at least two of my smaller parks by the next reset. Whereas the first week's tower took me pretty much till the end of the week. That said, there is a level (either 2, 3 or 4) that I've found really difficult on this week's tower - they get quite a bit easier after that in my experience. It really is all down to luck though.
Update: I managed to finish the weekly tower in all 6 of my parks before the second reset of the week! Related - I think I like Eggy Hatchy a bit too much. Hey, it's fun!
Also, I only need about 2 million more treats until I can level up all 15 primaries to elder stage, so at the reset I will be ready! I'm currently at 383 million, it will be sad to see it all go in one fell swoop 😂😭
Eggy Hatchy is a lot of fun and I love playing it, but it can also be really frustrating. It took me 3 turns to get enough points to move onto Level 2 in the easy tower this morning. 😂
Guys, I detest Eggy Hatchy. I know how to play it, and I can clear towers, but it feels like a chore. Am I missing something about it? At the end do you get to claim one of the eggs (like RBC)? It’s such a game of luck. I just don’t look forward to it.
And now for something completely different. Most Deca designed dragons are at least good and occasionally transcendent (think Lightmare), but I hate the design of the Classical dragon. This poor unfortunate dragon looks like it has impaled itself on a broomstick and is desperately hopping around trying to get off. The design is more Medieval than Classical. The Classical dragon does not carry itself with “grace and confidence” and is anything but “calm” as portrayed on its Description card. The Serenity dragon is calm. What are the concentric circles that emanate from the dragon supposed to represent? There is NOTHING to indicate this is a musical dragon. It’s all kind of disgusting. My two roses.
To me, the style is reminiscent of late Baroque, which makes some sense in a Classical genre.
Though I think the bell/flower/skirt design is strange, the swinging part makes me think of a few things: a metronome, the clapper of a bell, a conductor’s baton.
I like it. Not my favorite dragon, but one of the better Melody dragons, if not the best.

Sadly you don't get to claim any eggs.
If you really struggle with it, do the basic tower every day - that's 40 EC on normal days and 80 EC on doubles. It's not much per day but comes to I think 2240 EC over the whole event. If you don't enjoy the harder levels, don't do them. You'll miss out on about 9000 EC (I think) but that's only one or two dragons - it's not worth it if it makes playing the game a chore.
If you'd like to get more out of it, there are a couple of things that you can do to make it easier. 1 - Save undos for when you've got a high chance of winning a stage, or if it's nearly the end of the day. Something that would mean a high chance: you've completed any element goals and need, say, 6000 points. A rare/epic egg would definitely give you 6000. You have two common eggs you can merge; if you banked them now you wouldn't complete the stage. So you merge them, and get another common egg - not enough points. That would be a good time to use an undo for another chance at a rare egg. Or if you're very close to/have completed point goals, but you need element goals. Say you need one more level 3 water-element egg. You've got a flower egg and a seaweed egg (one's level 2 and the other level 1) - merging them has a pretty good chance of a level 3 water-element egg. On the other hand, if you needed 7500+ points (or 15000+ if you're merging with a twin), or it was very unlikely that you'd get the element goal (for example, if one of the only two eggs you had to merge with was rainbow, which meant there were all 10 primary elements in the mix), don't waste your undos unless it's nearly the end of the day. It's better to waste a ticket than an undo, because you get a maximum of 5 undos per day (whereas the tickets only take 30 mins each to restore).
2 - Don't merge the element you need till the minimum level you need. E.g. you need a level 5 dark-element egg. Merge four level 1 eggs that don't have the dark element, then merge with a dark-element egg. This gives you the highest possible chance of having the correct element at the minimum required level, and means you don't lose loads of possible correct-element eggs you can merge with. 2.5 - Don't forget that the level requirement is a minimum level, not the exact level. If the level requirement is 5, it can be a level 6+ egg and it'll still count as long as it's got the required element. So in the example above, if you lose the dark element, just merge with another dark-element egg.
3 - Work on element goals first. No matter what egg you bank, it will give you points. Whereas if you just work on completing point goals first, you might not be able to complete element goals.
4 - Complete the basic tower first, then the advanced tower, then work on the weekly tower. The basic tower only requires points. Merge down the board (so merge the top left into the middle left, the top middle into the centre, and the top right into middle right), collecting any rare and epic eggs as you go. I very rarely don't get enough points with this method. After that, work on the advanced tower. Save the weekly tower for last because the stages are harder and it lasts seven times as long.
5 - If you get a rare or an epic, keep it, especially if it's a twin. BUT DON'T BANK IT YET. The only time you should bank eggs before the end of the level is if it's in the way of a merge you want to make (or perhaps if it's helping you to complete the element goal). If you get a rare or epic egg, don't merge or bank it, because it could be useful to reach point goals - but you might also end up needing to merge with it to get a chance at an element goal. If you get a rare/epic egg that helps you complete an element goal, bank it. 5.5 - Try not to isolate eggs. If an egg can't merge with another, it can only be banked. Even if you get a rare/epic egg, try not to isolate it, because it could be the egg that you merge with another to reach an element goal.
6 - Watch out for twin and treat icons. Treat icons increase the resultant level by I think 1 or 2 more than it would be usually. E.g. lvl 1 flower + lvl 1 poison merged over a treat icon would either be a lvl 3 or 4 plant/fire hybrid (I'm not sure how many levels get added) rather than lvl 2. Twin icons make the resultant egg a twin - that's the only way eggs can become a twin, but twin status is never lost when merging. I don't worry too much about treat icons because I don't tend to miss out on level requirements, but twin icons are very useful, especially if you get a rare/epic. As far as I'm aware, icons will never spawn in corners (because you can't merge over them) and, although their positions are randomised, I'm 99% sure there are the same number of icons in the same stage. E.g. a little while ago I played stage 9 of a weekly tower multiple times to try and beat my high score, and every time it had two twin icons and one treat icon. It could have just been a fluke, but it's a little too coincidental. 6.5 - Try not to merge two twins. Obviously sometimes it can't be avoided, but if possible, don't merge two twins, because that's effectively removed one of the 'double points' eggs on the board. 6.5 Part 2: Identical Boogaloo - Merging identical eggs adds another level. E.g. lvl 1 flower + lvl 1 flower = lvl 3 flower rather than lvl 2 flower. If the element goal was a certain number of lvl 3 fire (or plant) eggs and you see two flower eggs next to each other at the start, merge them.
7 - Save the sponsor ticket for the end of the day, unless you need it to complete a daily tower. If you manage to complete all daily stages before the end of the day, then near the daily reset, let all tickets restore (to the max of 5), then watch an ad for the sponsor ticket. This will give you 6 tickets, which is enough to complete all daily stages in one if you get them all first try.
8 - It is, ultimately, a game of luck. It's frustrating. I enjoy it a lot and even I have times when I get so annoyed at the terrible luck it's given me that I exit the level before banking all the eggs because it's become impossible to meet the goals. (I wouldn't suggest that because the points you gain in a stage add towards unlocking stages further up the tower.) With the thousands of EC up for grabs, it's absolutely worth giving it a go, but even when you get the hang of it it'll be frustrating. It's your call. If you don't enjoy it then don't play it. But hopefully the strategies I gave above and other strategies other people suggest will help. Just be aware that even when you get the hang of it, there will still be times when it's annoying. On those days just complete the basic tower, any stages you like and then don't bother with the annoying stages.
That's everything I can think of so far, but others will probably have more tips.

I also think it seems like a bell. I didn't know it swings, but that makes more sense.
There's a reason why I cloned Mesmer four times: Two for rift Mesmerus, one for a spare Mesmer, and once for Mesmer Pedestal. In the process I got an unrifted Mesmer too so that was useful too.
Though I will admit that coming Umbras is much better for DC (5,000,000 sell DC over Mesmerus' 2,000,000), Mesmerus has a MUCH better XP giveout.
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.
Will a rifted Mesmer dragon evolve into a rifted Mesmerus dragon?
Yes! Here's a water trait one that I evolved:
Water trait looks great on him! 😊 I think he deserves a more fitting name than Steve? 😉 I know that is the auto name and I have many 'Steve's' in my park too. 😉
adlerist Thanks so much for putting your Lovonone in Co-Op, I managed to get it in a small park, so I won't have to buy it even if I don't manage to get it in my main park!
What's a koala's favourite food? I must have it in my parks somewhere, because they've been visiting an awful lot lately!
Edit: according to google it's eucalyptus leaves. I think DECA should add a decoration of a eucalyptus tree with a koala hanging out in it, with the description referencing Koala.
(I forgot the forum auto corrects g o o d l u c k to Koala 😂)

I don't think I turned it into one? My portal was clogged, so I had to place a pedestal in the vale. Upon returning to the breeding cave, it was empty. Investigating the portal, a pedestal version is being send.
I’m in the whine lounge waiting for news of a new bundle of joy in my park. As of yet, Pricklefluff has arrived, but the koala stork bearing any other event dragon seems to be lost. And don’t get me started on trying to count how much E I’ve spent trying to breed a rifted Murano Or a rifted Mesmer. 😭
Here’s hoping a little cheese, chocolate, apples, and eucalyptus will encourage the koalas to come visit me!
