I just bred a dapplethorn in the rift. First try with Dark rift and Water rift. So hard to clone during the event, so easy to breed.
Dapplethorn’s single-parent cloning percentage is only 1%. Its double-parent cloning percentage is higher, and so is the breeding percentage. A lot of permanent hybrids have a single-parent cloning percentage at 1%, but it’s much more noticeable when the dragon you want isn’t showing up. ☺️

I'm guessing it will do. A bit like how the luck-related dragons showed up again in A Thawsome Spring, I imagine in circus-themed dragons will show up in this event, even though it looks like it's gonna be school-related.

Under Deca, we’ve never had a break after two consecutive events. It’s been three years, so I don’t think there’s much hope of that happening. I suppose it’s better to have a break after 3-4 events, then to have a break after 2 and have 6 consecutive events.

That's definitely better. But when I thought there might be a longer break, I suddenly thought it might be a more common thing. Don't know why, I guess I was just feeling hopeful 😂😭

Guys, we are going to wizarding school. I can’t wait to see if our rift houses have anything to do with this. It’ll be cool if there is a whole new game involved to earn extra EC.

You’re right, that dragon in the art looks amazing. Reminds me a bit of some of the desert designs that DECA called for recently. I wonder when those might come out. I wonder if this event is too early- probably. Maybe we will see the next Summer event desert themed instead of paradise, since they are switching up this one.

I'm guessing the desert dragons will show up in Paradise, yes. Especially since the last two Paradise events have been pirate-themed - I'm guessing the event will be set on a desert island looking for treasure.
The Beauty and the Beast competition happened about four months before the event the dragons showed up in, so Paradise would fall in about that timeframe.
I am really looking forward to this event, even after my initial fading hope for a surprise break. The theme looks like it's going to be interesting, the new release we can see looks really cool, and hopefully it will involve houses! And if it's got the circus dragons from last year, the majority of those ones that I need are element-only. As long as the Koalas stick around a little bit longer this might be another golden event!!!
