Has anyone bred an Ovalith in the rift? I know it has low breeding odds, but it is proving to be a pain. It is one of two limiteds that I still need from the event, the other being a Niamh. I am thinking I should switch to the latter and then back to the Ovalith if successful. Or just go ahead and use my gift egg since I have a twin.
I have been trying to breed an Ovalith in the rift as well. No luck with Ovalith, but have cloned a couple of Panlong dragons which has worse odds than breeding Ovalith. Makes total sense. 😂
I cloned my Panlong as well a few days ago, and was lucky enough to get my rifted Ovalith today. So happy it had a trait! Trying for a week for a dragon and getting one without is the absolute worst! I was also successful in getting a traited Niamh, the last limited I needed for this event. Now it's time to try for some of these non-limited Chrysalis Dragons I can get. Fun times.
Since I'm pretty much finished with this event, I'm preparing for the next. As it's probably going to be the circus-themed one, what's the bonus EC thing in that type of event? Is it donation boards? I've never played during an event with them so need to refresh my memory of what happens before an event with it 😅

Congratulations! 🎉 I'm still trying for a rift Ovalith. I'm also using some rift breeds for a traited Snowflake 7. I am having equal success with both - none! 😉

In the Help Desk there is a thread Calendar of Events. This lists all the events plus the currency earning mechanism if there was one.
Last year was The Dragon Bandwagon and there was no extra way to earn event currency. The same event the previous year was The Spectacular Spectacle which had Eggy Hatchy. Deca don't always repeat how to earn currency in similar events and we don't know what it will be until the event is launched. 😊

I was literally about to say that 🤣 I've definitely enjoyed this event - it's quite possibly been my favourite - but they do go on for quite a while.

It’s not actually Dv so I’m not sure how much people can do - I found it wasn’t working yesterday but I used the DVC instead - what are you needing it for?

I believe the issue is that they'd need to actually be using a certain device to be able to fix it but are away for a few days.
If I get another 4k EC, I can afford one of every dragon, pedestal and decoration that I don't yet have. It'll be close but with some plant farming I'm in with a chance. 🤞!
After Kairos, ads, hidden items and a couple of other things, I'm down to needing 2k EC (that's including the ads at the next reset). I might be able to earn that amount naturally after the next reset but I think I'll do some plant farming to be on the safe side. But I'll definitely be getting enough! 😁

Cocoahollow and Arbor obtained, harmonious habitats have been put away to save island space for next event (why do those have to take up as much space as they do!)
