After missing every spellform re-release since the original event, I finally have every spellform piece! Now just to get the remaining 4 of those dragons.
Also, either the koalas are late or someone accidentally sent evil koalas, because I STILL have yet to breed a dragon I do not already own during this event. (Prestige was co-op cloned shortly before the event and Riptide was purchased using EC.) Maybe I should just start collecting Misfortune dragons instead.
Don't try for Misfortune dragons, all you'll get are Lodestones! At least, in my experience anyway 🤣 I've had plenty of koalas so far so have some to spare. Off you go, koalas 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨
I got the easiest donation board that I have ever seen this morning. Flower, Poison, fire element and plant element - all other spots were free. On a doubles day too! I had a Flower and Poison twin in my gifts menu, so this was very easy to complete. 😉
. This may be a dumb question… Other than the donation boards, is there any reason to keep dozens/hundreds of twins in a Gifts menu? At one time I had a lot, but I got rid of them so I don’t have to scroll through them all. Now i only keep the ones that I need and clear the rest. I hatch and store the twins I don’t already have as quickly as I have room to hatch the eggs. Am I missing some advantage to keeping them all? It doesn’t seem like the Donation boards provide enough magic to worry about.

I'm pretty sure donation boards are the only reason to keep them in your gifts, certainly of what I can think of. All I will say is that if you're planning to hatch them to get rid of some, wait till a time when they will be ready to hatch on a double day.

Congratulations on having every spellform piece. They really make the dragons look amazing. The spellform dragons aren't the easiest to breed.
The koalas were very late to this event. They don't move very fast, so perhaps they underestimated the time it would take to get from the last event to this one. 😊
I have had a family of koalas visit, so they must be on their way. After yesterday's co-op Scribe, today I have bred a traited Scribe and a traited Jackpot.
Here are some koalas to help breed your missing spellform dragons.

I may be misunderstanding your last sentence, but are you not completing any donation boards? They can be a good source of magic, especially on a doubles day. The easier boards don't give as much magic as a dreaded Epics board, but it is still worthwhile to complete what you can. Completing individual dragons may not give much magic, but you get more once you complete a line and also when the board is finished. If I complete my current board, as well as the magic I will receive for each dragon I donate, I will receive 320 magic.
I think that most players keep the twins in their social menu for the donation board events. I have a lot in my social menu, but I've decided at the end of this event, I'm going to clean out a lot of them. It is a pain scrolling through them to find the one dragon out of four that the donation board requires.
I am thinking of keeping spare rift dragons - they can be used for donation boards instantly. I will keep some Epic dragons as they are useful to have for the donation boards - especially the Galaxy ones.
Eggs in the social menu can also be a good source of extra event currency if you need a bit extra during an event. Hatch and sell them on doubles days. 😊

Not from breeding, but I did just get a Maze from a set of 3 mystery eggs, so it looks like the magical koala luck is working!

I need some koalas on my park too.... 🥺: I try Scribe dragon since its appearance, in my three breeding places, co-op ( my cold and a scribe from a friend) , sanctuary, and nest, both with my two papers and scryers. In vain! Not enough magical ec to buy it.... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Have you heard of plant farming? If you'd like to buy Scribe but won't have enough EC by the time is goes, you could try plant farming.
Here's the method: 1. Breed two Plant dragons together (Plant dragons specifically, not any dragon of that element) 2. Send the egg to the nursery 3. Rebreed the dragons using the 'Rebreed' button 4. Sell the egg* 5. Repeat until you get bored *On double days, pedestalling the egg gives 2 more EC than selling, but this causes a lot of extra lag so is less efficient than just selling. Only pedestal instead of selling if your park is incredibly laggy anyway.
Do something like watching a TV show/movie or listening to a podcast in the background, since it's very boring. Although if it's your first time plant farming you'll have to pay a bit more attention, it gets to the point where you can pretty much rely on muscle memory.
On a normal day plant farming gives 3 EC per cycle (1 for breeding the dragons, 1 for sending the egg to the nursery, 1 for selling the egg), and on doubles it's 6 EC per cycle (or 8 EC if you pedestal rather than sell). Depending on the lag in your park it will probably take at most 8-10 seconds per cycle if you sell the eggs (use the normal cave and nursery and place them right next to each other), so that's 2.1k-2.7k EC per hour on a double day (or 1k-1.3k EC per hour on a normal day).
It's an incredibly tedious method of getting EC but it's by far the best if you're in need of a lot of EC quickly. I personally don't use it often since I get very bored, only using the method on double days near the end of events if I'm going to be about 2k-5k EC under what I need, but if you'd like to buy Scribe you could use this method in the final couple days of its availability to get up to its price.

Yes Metaphoricalrobin, I know this tip but.... I need about 10 000EC!!!!!!! thanks a lot for your help. And, YES it's very BORING! but it can work, when We need less than 10 000!
and I can't buy it with my last wish!!! It's too unfair!

Gotta say, DECA has been designing some dragons lately that I genuinely really like, so far these dragons in Summerthings Magical have been really neat, I'd say my favourites in this event are either ignaqtus or invento
Somehow I got two Outrider clones in a row (one of them being a twin) while trying for both Prestige and Prestina in Co-Op... where Prestige has 10% odds and Outrider has about a 2.931% chance. I think that's something like a 0.086% chance 😭
Days became weeks and at last, the apprentices perused all the books. As they exhaustedly left the library, they spotted Morphimagus, the hero of great morphing powers and librarian magic. 'Morphimagus! We read tomes and tomes! We are ready to cast spells, conjure sorcery, and zoom on brooms!' Morphimagus grinned, 'Oh no, that is just the beginning, a sampling, an hors d'oeuvre. There is much more to learn. PROFESSO will teach you everything!' The apprentices followed Morphimagus into the adjacent lecture hall, where Professo stood impatiently at the front of the room, 'Sit down, you are late. We have already begun…'
Professo is in the co-op schooling everyone. Koala classes to all!

I didn't think I would say this, but I really don't like this dragon. The green mixed with the derpy-ish look... 🤮
Only thing decent about it in my opinion is the combo.
He’s an owl-gator! 🦉🐊
Had to be green.

BTW, I bred Professo on the fifth attempt in the Rift with BOULDERSHOCK + POSHWING, since I had both levelled up to 20.
SPARKLES + plant (like BELLFLOWER) would be a nice fancy combo for Professo!

Hmm, I think I like this dragon. Not like "need to have" status, but pretty unique, and he has lots of books in his animation, which I find pretty appealing.
Also, I can't believe my luck. I bred him first try in the rift with Level 8 Moss and Level 5 Flash. Never had this type of luck before. Guess the koalas finally made it to my park!

This dragon is very cute. It reminds me of something but I can't put my finger on it.
'... overwhelming goodwill, and witty humour, profound grace and compassion blended with the spice of relentless taunts.'
