Once again, the challenge arena (your dragon with a friends) was left off the event instructions. It has been missing for the last several events.
The image will always be an old image. I can’t get into the game fast enough to change it before the event thread goes live. I know Forum members have complained about this a lot. But unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do about it. I’d advise checking that post 12 hours after the event started. It should be updated by then.
I meant the in-game new event instructions. The school (helps and prizes), arcade (game area), arcane crystal (daily gift), are explained. Fight or Flight (challenge trends area) was not mentioned at all. And the Enchanted Forest was not mentioned.
Looks like the forest costs 2.2k to clear and it's literally just a decoration. A cool decoration at that but still just a decoration. You also get XP if you're not max level. Only spend EC on it if you're trying to get all decorations or want that decor. An in-game explanation or hint would be nice, especially if they do that in future events.
The Duskfall Edifice is in the market but the Dawnbreak Edifice is not, unless I missed it. Dawnbreak should be in the market too.
The Mirror of the Triptych is capped at one. I already have eight. Is there a reason to cap the Mirror at one? Deca previously removed caps on the various Pylons. The Mirror is a wonderful deco and I would like to see the cap removed unless there is a good reason not to. Please and thank you!
The forum looks great as always. It’s a relief to have a new event. The last one was getting very stale.
The Dawnbreak Edifice was removed on purpose, as were the sun dragons and sun habitats.
WARNING: This means Pharaoh and Midday are not available, so Lightmatter and Lageto cannot be bred. I know that might be frustrating for some players (I really tried to get them added), but Deca already has plans for the events, and Pharaoh and Midday could not be released.
I’ll ask about the Mirror of the Triptych limit.
Thanks for the update! I always think of the Dawnbreak/Duskfall Edifices as a pair. If I see one I go looking for the other. Looking forward to this event and future events.
And, adlerist, to finish you off, none of the new market dragons or decos have their descriptions, at least in my game. All the new dragon/deco descriptions just show <nameofobject>.description. Fun and busy times. Thanks and take care!!

Sorry about that. Yes, I agree! I mentioned this to Deca, and so have the other Game Reps. Lots of explainers needed, most especially for the new feature. it reminds me of Eggy Hatchy’s release. Much confusion, no clear explanation on how to play.

Looks like Sunscorch has also been removed despite it being moon-element. I feel like its element needs to be changed to sun because DECA probably removed it because it has sun in the name...
Unless the theme is going to be that all the dragons with the sun element or that have sun in their name have been kidnapped by an evil wizard or witch and they'll be added to the event later on but I doubt it
Anyone know why Lightmatter was spared the Fate of the Sun Dragons? My guess is it was an oversight... Oooooooor Sunscorch stood in the place of Lightmatter to protect it! Heroic Sunscorch 😊
Tranquil also avoided TFotSD and I'm guessing there's a lore reason or DECA just forgot it's sun-element because it looks like it should be a moon-element dragon.

I got a pop up after the tutorial and the game reloaded that the wizards hid something in the forest. She also said in the tutorial to checkout the forest. It’s supposed to be mysterious and get people to buy EC and spend gems for those that need instant gratification. I don’t think it warrants a complaint. Mystery is good and fun.
It was explained as much as it needed to be to pique interest. Some people just didn’t pay attention and assumed everything was the same.

I am OBSESSED with Ignaqtus. In one of my books the God of Fire and Goddess of Water are in love so I'm all for the idea of water and fire being in harmony - it's a motif that shows up in my books almost as often as the robin motif! When I get that beautiful dragon (in ALL of my parks obviously) I will be naming it a portmanteau of the two deities.

Twilight Tower is Day/non-event theme.
You know what's ironic about that? Since the Sun dragons (except Tranquil, Binky, and Lageto) were removed from the event Market, it isn't the right time to breed a few of the available dragons.
The Dusk Dragon, Darkmatter Dragon, and Midnight Dragon are all part of this event, and the Moon Dragon is a required parent of many of the dragons. However, all of them can only be bred at night, which the event theme prevents.
As a result, players are currently forced to buy these dragons, or the Twilight Tower, from the event market as it is otherwise impossible to breed them.
