The cloning odds are a good reason for Loot to be made available when Jackpot is, because 1.5% is not nice. Especially given how many event dragons can't have their combos met...

I know it stinks to have to wait, but at the very least Loot will be part of the next event. 77 days will end up being enough time.

I still think it would be nice if dragons' parents could be available throughout the whole time they're available (hence why I asked if dragons like Clover and Celtic could be added to the Spring event for Luck and Redbeard) but I guess as long as there is some overlap it's fair enough. Not perfect but understandable.

. Today IS my lucky day! First I scored Jackpot on a free egg, then I bred a TRAITED LUNIS! I have been trying for Lunis in Rift forever. Feels like at least a year. Now to work on Lunis’ solar friend in Rift.
Jackpot is an interesting way to celebrate the 777th dragon and I like that it was released outside of an event. With all the emphasis on the number seven I could wish for a maximum earning rate of 777, not the 420 that is currently specified. That feels like a missed opportunity, especially for a Treasure dragon.

I also feel like the base odds should have been 7.77 not 3.77. It feels like DECA wanted 7s to be in there but didn't want the odds to be so high 🤣

My crazy lucky day continues! First, I get awarded Jackpot in my daily award. Then I get a traited Lunis in Rift. Then I get all 3 of the new dragons in co op!
It’s all good because I leave for a 2 week vacation on Sunday and may not have daily internet access, although I’ll certainly try to play daily, at least to send out gems and treats. I used a lot of gems today to speed up successful breedings, but it was totally worth it! WooHOO! Kate’s Super Lucky Day! I hope my luck spills over to you all.
I just logged into an alt account without the Twilight Tower to see that it's still daytime. So I can confirm that there will not be any night without the use of Twilight Tower 😔
Hmm... unless they changed that since last event, that's a bug. Last event, before I got the twilight tower, everything was changing after 7pm - I bred moon dragons in RBCs, Brutiful was its night form, etc.. I have a small park without the twilight tower so I'll check this evening if I remember.
I checked and looking at the day/night changers in the event market and it is still daytime. It definitely wasn't like this last event but maybe they changed it for this event.
Maybe there really will be something later in the event about why most of the day things have been removed, which could relate to the day cycle not working... But I'm not sure how that would relate to the theme, and if it were the case surely the theme would be a permanently night one? I'm not sure it will happen but it would certainly be interesting if it did.

I think it'll have to deal with the next event. As I mentioned before, the last Community art contest featured Desert Dragons. That'll probably be for this year's Paradise event, and when I think of deserts, I think of Sun Dragons like Pharaoh.

The light island theme was available in A Thawsome Spring, so Deca would be unlikely to include it in this event as well. This event has the air theme included in the market. 😊

My main problem with it was that there wasn't an obvious tutorial explaining especially that it needed to be cleared multiple times before anything happened. Everyone keeps talking about a goal but I have no idea where that is... Probably the quests book? But since that never gets updated apart from for new dragons it is not something I ever check.
