OK, I guess all can be forgiven: after 34 days of trying for a traited Lunis in the rift, (though intermittently), ending in FOUR non-traited ones, and countless Moons, Blue Moons, hybrids, etc., I finally had to claim a traited Lunis from the daily gift yesterday. Then lo and behold, I was able to breed a traited Margento in less than 10 tries!
My theory is either @ney was kind enough to send her little 🐨🐨🐨family over, or obijuan created such a ruckus in his park that is scaring his 🐨🐨🐨to scatter, when some of them landed on my park. 😉😉 Either way, I am all happy now.. 🤩😍🙏

Yes, since those dragons are permanent they don't get put on the charts. That's also why, for example, Thorn didn't show up on Lovely Doubly's chart.

The chart focuses on the limiteds since players are typically trying to breed them during the event. It’s not really a chart for all the event dragons, but rather a guide to help players breed the dragons before they expire. As a result, the permanent dragon are excluded. However, Ray has created a chart for the permanent Chrysalis dragons.

I caught Invento romping around with his BFF Humuhumu in a splashless swim.
I was concerned that Invento would squash Humuhumu, but Humuhumu is very tricky! 🐠
It is good to know that Invento uses his wizard-made fins. He seems to avoid the water in my park. I'm sure that the water isn't as deep as it is in the Megatat. Humuhumu has some great dodging skills. 😊

Congratulations on your traited Lunis (great gift choice) and then breeding a traited Margento! What a relief getting Margento in so few breeds after so many non-traited Lunis dragons. You must have had a whole family of koalas stop by.
I am hoping that they stopped at your park on the way to my park. 😉 I'm still breeding non-stop in the rift for a traited Margento. I've put out fresh treats and made a new batch of eucalyptus wine trying to entice them to visit. 😊

I am returning your koalas with a small backpack of treats for their journey so that they don't arrive hungry and tired at your park. You aren't the only one that has had trouble with traited Margento! I only bred one this morning and @ney is also still trying for traited version. It seems that the koalas don't like the Rift. There have been several people breed a non-traited one in the Rift, which is also frustrating.

After a week I finally bred a Margento through the Rift, and it was also untraited. However, I feel like this as a semi-good thing as I prefer to get a non-rifted version before the rifted version.
Over the years, I have pretty much come up with a breeding 'rule' that my park's Rift almost always follows: If you breed a dragon you are trying to breed, it's either going to have the Earth Trait, or no trait at all.

🐲 SELL ALL YOUR DUPLICATE/UNWANTED SPELLFORM PIECES FOR EVENT CURRENCY (you may be able to do this over the next couple of days, but why take the chance when you can do it now?)
📚 ACQUIRE MRS. MURPHY’S SCHOOL OF SPELLWORK AND SORCERY (The Enchanted Forest will disappear with the rest of the event island. To obtain the building you will need to clear the Enchanted Forest three times. It costs 550 Magic each time (1650 Magic total). All three clearings take ~3 hours, 20 minutes each (total ~10 hours). A chest will be uncovered. It costs 350 Magic to open the chest; it is instant, no wait time. The school will be delivered to your Gifts. If you run out of time, you can use Kairos and gems to speed up the clearings.)
After the next daily reset, you will have two days to shop at the event market, until the event takedown on Wednesday, June 14th.

But the clearing can be sped up with gems at the usual rate of one per hour or part there of.
