When I think of desert island it is really a deserted island; sandy beach, easily climbable hills, lush vegetation, waterfall …oh and a friendly monkey and parrot. Coconuts, pineapples, crabs, and fish. How I ended up there would preferably be non-traumatic with everything I needed to get food etc. The only thing it doesn’t align with is reality.
But how do you get wifi for Dragonvale on a dream-worthy desert island?

Djinni is always a difficult dragon to breed due to its low percentage. At least its combo is elements instead of specific parents... although there is a tendency for elemental combos to have lower breeding odds.

I tried about 300 times for Monolith 6, which is 1% odds (rather than 0.5) so I'm pretty determined to keep going as I did eventually manage to get the elusive Monolith.

You're possibly sending koalas to my park. I just bred Djinni this morning in the rift using Chromacorn and Kampos while trying for Spectrapod. Sending koalas back to you now!
Now I'm going to keep trying for Jackpot until he's gone, along with Gawk so I can try for the new limited. I really hate treasure dragon breeding!!! It seems the fails are worse than dream dragon breeding, but maybe that's all in my head.

We NEED a eucalyptus tree decoration in the game. Or even better, a eucalyptus forest! If players were to be able to plant some, I am sure the koalas would find their way to their parks.
And maybe, you'd be able to see a koala's head poking out from the trees here and there.

Spectrapod was the absolute worst for me! I tried for an entire month and never got it. I ended up just using the event reward egg to get it last year. Come to think of it, it's probably how I got my Djinni in the rift as well, haha.
On another note, I am definitely seeing a difference when it comes to making sure parents are level 16 when trying for a dragon in the rift. At least when it comes to epics. After attempting to breed a Ruckus with level 14 parents for two weeks, I was able to get one each of past two days. They just didn't have traits of course. Go figure!

Outside of the Rift, but I saw exactly the same thing in a small park - my Gold and Regal dragons were level 10 for a while and I never got Gawk, but as soon as I got the relic and monument and fed them to level 16, I got Gawk first try!
I wonder whether untraited dragons might be a koala business strategy. You get the dragon you want so you know the koalas helped out - but you need to plant more eucalyptus trees to encourage more koalas to your park, to get a traited version. If so, well played, koalas - well played.

I'm already obsessed with this dragon. An opposite to Djinni is a really cool concept, and the colour scheme is really great. I can't wait to get it!
Also, am I right in thinking this is the first dragon this event with an incubation time over a day (and not by much, at that)? DECA's been really kind with the incubation times this event!

When you breed one, its picture is missing too (at least in the rift). Then when it asks what you want to do with it, only about 1/3 is visible. Is this the part that misfortune contributed?
Last night, all efreet dragon eggs were reported as missing from the High Wizards. Claims say that a wizard named Ala Din had stolen all the eggs in order to get 'his wish'. As a result, all Efreet pedestals are empty.
The posted reward for finding these stolen eggs is 1,000 Gems. If you have any information for the Wizards, please let us know.
